Baby Fever Love #2

Baby Fever Promise

Rate this book
WE CAN'T DO THIS AGAIN. I'M FAKING OUR SECOND CHANCE...

ROBBI

Once, Lucus Shaw was my everything.

First kiss. First surrender. First man to promise me a ring, children, a life together.

I remember his rogue smirk, his soul stinging kiss, the blistering words that always made him a little dangerous.

I gave him my body for one insatiable night. He gave me secrets, heartbreak, and hatred.

Friends, to lovers, to mortal enemies. Our tragic destiny.

But I survived. Adapted. Moved on.

Fate doesn't care.

Luke's back, and I have to pretend we still have a Cinderella romance to save my career.

Hate never fades. It rages when we lie to the world, when we lust, even when I'm begging for his baby.

What if hate can't save me anymore? What if the man I swore I'd never give a second chance gives me baby fever for real?

LUKE

I was her first, and I'll damned sure be her last. I made a promise.

Robbi's an addiction I can't quit. A million of her icy looks won't make me forget what we had.

How delicious she looked when I brought her to her knees. How she ached for more. How she ripped my heart out when vicious lies ended us.

This isn't over. Love never fades. I'll make our fake kisses real.

It's not too late to have it all: my ring on her hand, my name on her lips, my baby in her.

She'll beg for me again before we're done playing pretend. Oh, how she'll beg.

Hello, swoon! This is a no-holds-barred second chance romance with an alpha male billionaire, an insane secret or two, and a whole LOT of enemies-to-lovers baby making heat. Zero cliffhangers, no apologies, and happy endings ahead!

This is Robbi and Luke’s story. It is full of angst, passion, sexual tension, heartbreak, forgiveness and 2nd chances. Let me say the sex action is HOTT –I really commend the author for keeping it tasteful yet also making me need a fan. Robbi's family move and start working for the Shaw family and this is where Robbi meets Luke. Their meeting sets up a chain of events – they start out not liking one another but slowly they do start liking each other which starts a chain reaction among them and then there is their parents. There is something so wrong and sick that is going on between their parents that when it finally blows up, it causes Robbi and Luke to implode and not talk for 5 years.
Fast forward to present time. The 2 of them come face to face as they are starring in a movie together. Will the two of them be able to work together after the heartbreak and bitterness of the past? Will Robbi allow Luke back into her life ? Will old feelings be bought up , is the past going to conflict with the present and will the past haunt them both? It is definitely worth is to read this novel by Ms. Snow. She has written a fantastic 2nd chance romance novel that has suspense, mystery, heartbreak, book stopping sex scenes, angst and some great forgiveness scenes. I loved how the author writes and throws some twists and turns into the plot when you least expect it. I don’t want to give too much away but this is one story that is explosively great with all the emotions that you feel when you are reading this book.

Rating: 5 Stars to Baby Fever Virgin (A Billionaire Second Chance Romance) is by author Nicole Snow.
Genres: Romance, Dark Romance, Erotica.
POV: First-person dual.
Published: March 3, 2017
Read: March 29, 2017

Robbi and Luke.......

First things first! Don't assume this book is solely erotic smut, because it it not. It is so much more. Baby Fever Virgin is a dark romance with dark and brooding characters.

Nicole Snow wrote an amazing story overflowing with: a flawed cast of characters, secrets, lies, heartbreak, tragedy, tortured souls, and a ton of angst. Oh and let's not forget...there is amazing, sexy, ho,t erotic sex.

Usually a book with this much angst is not for me. However Baby Fever Virgin was amazing! And for all the dark moments, there were appropriate moments of love and passion to balance the story.

Because of the suspense and secrets, there isn't much more I can say about the premise and plot without spoiling the book for you. As with any suspense novel, you need to 'dig in' blind; or else why bother, right?

About the characters.......

Luke Shaw has a dark persona. He is moody and arrogant; a crude A-hole at times. That said, Luke is NOT an evil or dangerous person. He is a moral man of character; even though it doesn't always seem that way. I loved his character; everything about him. I loved him even when he acted like a jerk. I was so thankful to the author for giving us both Luke and Robbi's POVs. It made me love this book even more. Luke was truly a hero in my eyes. Faults and all.

Robbi had her own struggles and emotional issues. She was intelligent and strong-willed as a heroine, however there were times when she did not use common sense and let herself be easily fooled. I understand and even appreciate the way events of the story went down. However, Robbi was hard to like at times. Oh yes, there were several moments I wanted to slap her for being so obtuse to the truths that were in front of her.

Baby Fever Virgin is a wild ride of emotions. All the 'feels' are there. There are also incredible secondary characters. In addition, I appreciated how steady the flow of the writing was. Also, every intimate scene in this book was full of passion. There is also a lot of sexual tension leading up to the intimacies.

Baby Fever Virgin is the second book of three featuring the billionaire Shaw brothers. I haven't yet read the first, Baby Fever Bride, which features middle brother Hayden Shaw. I'm so glad I got to meet him and older brother, Grant, in Luke's book and I definitely look forward to reading those other books in the future.

I recommend this book to anyone who loves dark, erotic romance with complex and angsty characters. The ending of this book was beyond my expectations of what a HEA truly is. I loved it!!

*I voluntarily read and reviewed a complimentary copy of this novel. My opinions are honest and unbiased.*

Full of drama and miscommunication between all the characters. Snow did leave an opening to come back one day and make a duel or series. After all why hint about an unmatched brother if the spark is not there for a match up.

I can’t say that I truly loved this book. Some things happened that I did not think were cool, like Lucas punching out his dad. I guess I was raised to be old school. I may not have always approved or liked what my parent did but I certainly would not punch them out. That went against my grains. I can’t even say it fit with Lucas’ character but I know some will disagree with that.

Some of the story didn’t make sense, either. Lucas wanted to be a musician and a pilot. How did he suddenly get into acting? Robbi being an actress was understandable since she was in theater while she was in high school, which was also when she met Lucas.

The ending seemed to drag. There were several places it could have ended. It just didn’t. I didn’t know how much longer it was going to go on until it really did end but when it did, it was done quite well.

Ultimately, this is a story of how a mother interfering with the relationships her children can never be good; drop in a drop or two of psychosis and you have some real trouble.

I’m sorry to say that I didn’t like or care about any of the characters in the book. I found the movie-making to be too close to The Fifty Shades of Grey, with basic name changes between the characters in said novel and the movie. The plot of the movie was a little different but it was pretty easy to tell what it was based on. The sex was raw and without any real emotion. It was crude and overdone. I didn’t feel as if Lucas and Robbi were really in love. They were definitely in lust but I don’t think love was in the equation.

There were instances of wrong word usage but it wasn’t enough to detract from the reading experience. That combined with the comments mentioned above, earned this book three stars.

But there is something really great. There’s another novel at the end of this one. You get two-for-one. Not a bad deal.

Marry Me Again

This was the free novel at the end of the Baby Fever Virgin. I have to say I enjoyed it a lot more than I did the Baby Fever Virgin.

Ryan Caspian is an old friend and schoolmate of Matt Lilydale. Kara is Matt’s younger sister and is a bit starry-eyed where Ryan is concerned. Ryan is like a member of the family. He is in foster care and, since his foster parents don’t seem to care about him one way or the other, he spends a lot of time at the Lilydale house and works for Matt’s dad, Bart.

Ryan and Kara, whom he affectionately calls Kara-bou, are in love. They are teenagers but they already know they want to get married. He proposes to her on her graduation night, knowing that she is going onto college. He wants her to achieve her life’s dream and is willing to wait for her to get a degree.

After she is gone, things take a sudden turn for the worse. There is a murder in their hometown of Split Harbor and Ryan has disappeared.

Five years later, Ryan is back. He wants to reclaim Kara and the life he left behind. Of course, things are different. He is different. Kara is different. But he knows he still loves her.

This was a good story overall. There was some mystery to it, a good plot, and even a bit of twist. However, the sex was over-the-top again. It’s redundant, excessive, and gratuitous. I would have liked it a lot more had I been able to feel the love between Kara and Ryan but as near as I can tell, it was just another f*** book.

There was some wrong word usage again but not enough to detract from the reading experience. Frankly, I would like to see a few more complete sentences rather than a series of sentence fragments. This goes for both books.

I give this book four stars for a great story line and the mystery of what really happened with Ryan five years ago.

Combined, I give this book 3-1/2 stars.

I don’t know what to say about Robbi and Luke, Baby Fever Virgin, that wouldn’t be a spoiler so I’ll just say this: this story is a WILD ride and doesn’t stop from chapter to chapter. I didn’t believe there would be an HEA and won’t confirm or deny it now, either. That’s for you to read and find out! Ms. Snow wrote great characters – such depth and heart, and a little nasty thrown in for good measure! – that you will read the story straight thru. It wasn’t a quick read for me as there is much to read and understand about these two but it is good. I recommend.

When Robin's family moves onto the Shaw estate her life will never be the same. Her mom is the head of the household management and her dad is the household accountant leaving Robin working part time cleaning in the house and a lot of time spent with her parents gone from the house. The first time she meets Lucas Shaw, the youngest of the Shaw sons, they get off on the worst foot with Lucas yelling at her and telling her to leave. Luke and Robin's relationship starts off rough, but they grow closer until their world is shaken to the foundation. Luke said it best they will either be each other's greatest loves or worst enemies and when their relationship is blown apart they move to enemies. 5 years have gone by and neither has forgotten the other, they may not think about the other all the time but they thought is still there. Now their lives bring them full circle when they are cast in the biggest breaks of their acting careers as co-stars in a film that will push the past to the front to be dealt with. Robin and Luke are given a second chance at a once in a lifetime relationship, if the past can stay in the past and family members can let them be happy together. I absolutely loved the latest from Nicole Snow and the Shaw brothers. I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Reader Copy of this book.

I was completely unprepared for this incredibly magnificent journey that tore my heart to shreds and left me in breathless anticipation of the next fantastic twist. You do not find stories like this one every day. Nothing can prepare you for the heaven and hell concealed within these pages that will haunt and delight you at every chance. Treasure such as this one will transform everything and leave you fighting to identify and fight for the things in life that really matter. What you hold in your hands is an excruciatingly precious masterpiece that will not only change the writing game but change you.

Luke has known nothing but pain and grief in his life, so when he finds a breathtaking beauty full of life and dreams invading his miserable and dreary existence, he is left twistedly confused and yet strangely hopeful. As he begins to get to know her, he finds himself falling down the rabbit hole of misplaced desire and wicked determination. Robbi isn’t sure how to think about much less deal with Luke. Her sheltered life hasn’t prepared for this man who lives his life with more intensity then she knows how to even comprehend. In this dangerous and confusing push and pull that they soon find them entangled within, Robbi must decide if she can trust Luke when secrets are revealed and lives are ruthlessly torn apart.

These spectacular characters literally took my heart by storm. They just walked in, introduced themselves, and then casually walked off with my heart in tow. To say I was dumbfounded would be a huge understatement of the century. Robbi and Luke were beyond my expectations on each and every level possible. Nothing was ever easy for them, and they had to fight relentlessly for every inch of ground they claimed. That is precisely what made them truly unforgettable and incredible in my eyes. Their fierce determination and almost ruthless pursuit of their heart no matter what obstacles stood in their way. What a fabulous rush to experience every moment of their fascinating and heart wrenching journey!

Nicole Snow has always taken my breath away with her marvelously unique and wonderfully touching stories, but this one truly rocked my world to its core. She use every trick up her sleeve and then some to destroy her characters and then slowly transform them into true and magnificent masterpieces that exude joy and brighten every part of their world. Talk about true and utter beauty in a world just as lost and dark as theirs! Snow is a rare and pure genius in the romance genre that deserves to be skyrocketed to the heights of the universe and then even farther. She will shatter your preconceived notions and show you how real stories should look and feel.

Eh

Not bad enough for two stars, not good enough for three. Honestly its a book about making the movie "50 shades of Grey" yeah she changed some stuff but if you're honest that's what this is. I'm also guessing Nichole, and her editor have either never gotten a tattoo and/or ever been pregnant. You can't get a tattoo when pregnant. Well I guess you can but you would have to lie on the form you have to fill out, go to some place shady, or just not care about your baby. This is also one of those books that has another book added on to it... So two books, one you wanted to try out and one you didn't. Honesty I was kinda hoping that's what it was, I don't think I could have really handled 11 hours of this book. (That's how long my kindle told me it would take.) I finished this so I couldn't give it one star, its more like 2.5 but I round up. If you are in the mood for this its probably good, but not what I'm into.

I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Reader Copy of this book.

Lucus Shaw is a reckless, sexy actor and also Robin's first everything. To Robin's surprise, Luke is also starring opposite her in a movie designed to put her on the map....the Hollywood starlet map. There's only one problem. Robin hates Luke.
A few years back, they crossed paths, well it was more of a run in, and it was not pleasant. Weeks later, they had formed a truce that soon turned into friendship with flirting. As time goes by, Luke becomes more concerned in all matters of Robin and it quickly escalates into an obsession. Robin thinks he's playing games with her, but Luke is playing for keeps. Fate had other plans; promises were made and hearts were broken.
Now they are expected to work together? Robin sees this as a learning experience, a way to test her acting skills. It's going to be hard and very painful, but she needs this movie to advance her career. Luke sees this as an opportunity for redemption and maybe a second chance. He knows what he lost and now he's come to reclaim what's his. Can love be reclaimed after it's been destroyed by lies? Should it be, or should it just be left alone? A distant memory. Sometimes the past needs to stay in the past.
Luke was a cocky, arrogant, billionaire who let his guard down when he was with Robin. Robin was innocent, smart and trusting. She made Luke a better man. Luke envisioned his future and didn't hesitate to make it a reality.
That's all you're getting from me....YOU NEED TO READ THIS BOOK ! A DEFINITE, MUST READ ! WELL WRITTEN, AWESOME, ORIGINAL STORYLINE WITH COMPLEX CHARACTERS !
TONS OF HOT, EDGY, SHEET RIPPING SEX ! ! !
I LOVED THIS BOOK ! AMAZING READ ! ! !

Love, lies, deceit, heartache and heartbreak.
There is a fine line between love and hate.
Robbi and Luke are definitely blurring the lines.

Robbi seems to me like she really doesn't know what she wants. One minute she pushes Luke away the next she wants him to fight for her. At times she acts like a spoiled brat.

Poor Luke is caught in the middle of it all. He doesn't know which way is up and which is down. He hates his father and Robbie's mother is just a manipulating witch. The fact that Robbie let's her manipulate her doesn't help.
At one point I'm like Robbie doesn't even deserve Luke. She is always looking for the worse and never trust or believes in him. She is so gullible.
If want Luke!!!
I definitely recommend this book. Steamy, HEA, no cheating, no cliffhanger.

This is the first book I have read by this author and I was not disappointed. Wow.....Robbi and Luke's story is full of emotion, banter, love and very hot sex! Robbi's family move and start working for the Shaw family..... this is where Robbi and Luke meet, they have a rocky friendship, when thing begin to progress between them there seems to be some cracks forming between Robbi's parents that also involve Luke's dad. Fast forward 5 years and the 2 of them come face to face as they are starring in a movie together. What will happen between the 2 of them.... will old feelings be bought up and will the past haunt them both.

I thought Baby Fever Bride was amazing, Baby Fever Virgin is way better, if that's possible. While both these books are part of a series, that tells about the Shaw family, they are Standalone with a HEA. This book is a work of literary art. I couldn't put it down till I reached the very last page. Nicole Snow is a truly gifted writer.
Robin's heart was broken 5 years prior by Luke whom she dearly loved. They now have a second chance, if they willing to let go of the past and not allow miserable people to rip them apart.

So dumb. I wanted something dumb, but this was...yikes. The number of things that defied all logic, I can't tell if the author is stupid, or just assumes her audience is.

Improvised sex scenes on a film shot in front of all and sundry, despite real ones being highly regulated and shot in front of a skeleton crew for privacy was annoying, but I could give a pass cause it was for titillation purposes. Same goes for the absurdity of believing two unknowns were cast in a film without ever having read together AT ALL for a chemistry test. Completely absurd, but okay you wanted the big reveal.

Emergency landing on a flight for the hell of it so she could deliver her baby, when everyone knows it's dangerous to fly when that pregnant? That's so unnecessarily stupid, that why?

The notion that this rich dude is in prison because of an amateur assault frame-up where the woman uses fake blood capsules? Fake blood would be realized so quickly it's absurd with the kinds of lawyers and investigations their money and influence could buy.

There was just so much that was such an insult to the readers intelligence, I can't. And the dude's an idiot and douche, anyway. I can't...

The story of Robbi and Luke introduces us to the couple as adults coming back together for the first time in five years. I really liked how the characters were playing the main characters in the movie Bare (hello 50 Shades) it was a great play on the movie and story. We're then taken to the past to find out how they came together, found love and were then torn apart. Once we're caught up on drama of the past, Robbi and Luke need to work together in the hottest movie of all time. They can't seem to keep their feelings out of the filming. Now they have to work out their past and accept their future. However it seems that the person who ripped them apart when they were young isn't finished keeping them apart and will stop at nothing, no matter how insane to keep them apart. With help from Luke's brothers they are able to save Luke and prevent them from being kept apart forever.

I really liked Luke's character, he was all edgy and full of angst but fell in love and knew what he wanted and went for it. When the world fell apart around him, he tried to do what he thought was best and with good intentions. Even when he gave Robbi up for her own happiness it was for her best interest. Then he worked hard and grew as a man to get to where he was. I never really felt the whole Billionaire aspect came into it.

Robbi, however I felt she was clueless as to what was happening around her throughout the story. It was her world that was crumbling around her when she was younger but at the point where her and Luke are ready to leave and start living their own lives, she was an adult and it sucks to see your parents marriage fall apart but she was an adult not a small child. Her father obviously needed help which her and her mother ignored and you could tell something was off with her mother. Her need to ignore everything and blindly follower her mother didn't sit well with me.

When they come back to the present, I honestly felt Luke was the slighted party and she acted like he was the one crushed her, as she kept saying he completely destroyed her. It seemed to me she destroyed herself and him. She acted like a child with a tantrum for a while but she finally got it together and started to act like an adult. I did like their story and when they are finally getting back on track, here comes Mommy Dearest to ruin it all again! What is up with this woman, she is insane!! Who acts like this??? Yikes.

But alls well that ends well and they were able to put their lives back together once again after the crazy mother incident, a successful movie and have baby Zane.

TITLE OF BOOK: BABY FEVER PROMISE
AUTHOR OF BOOK: NICOLE SNOW
DATE READ: MARCH 9, 2017

WILL THE STAR-CROSSED LOVERS BE ABLE TO FIND THE LOVE THEY SHARED ONCE BEFORE?

Nicole Snow is an Awesome writer and author and one of my favorite MC authors. She has truly shown that she can also hold her own in the BAD BOY BILLIONAIRE world. “Baby Fever Promise” is the revised version of “Baby Fever Virgin.” I really loved the story line and how Luke Shaw and Robin (Robbi) Plomb star crossed lovers like Romeo and Juliet. Luke is the son of a Billionaire and he is angry at a lot of things. But mostly because his mom was dead, and his dad was a womanizing drunk who didn’t care about anything anymore. He wanted Luke to be something he didn’t want to be. Luke found a certain peace with Robbi and fell in love with her. He promised Robbi a life of love and happiness. Then on the night the consummated their love and he was going to give her the ring he promised her, it all fell apart. After that night, they would become enemies and would go their own separate ways all because his dad couldn’t keep his hands off Robbi’s mother and her mother told lies that would cause her to leave with her mother. It broke Luke’s heart when she wouldn’t even give him a chance to explain and just left with her mother. Now several years later Luke is stunned almost into shock when he sees that his leading lady is none other than Robbi Plomb, his little bird.

Robbi Plomb was really upset when they moved into a servant’s house on the estate of the billionaire Shaw family. Her father was going to be working for the Shaw’s as well as her mother. Her mother put Robbi to working inside the huge castle also. The first time Robbi meets Luka Shaw she really didn’t like him. He was arrogant and rude. Then after several chance meetings they developed a friendship then it became love. The night they spend together and Robbi gives herself to Luke is the best night of her life. Until the next morning when they are aroused from their sleep by her parents hollering and fighting. That is when Robbi finds out that not only was her mother sleeping with Luke’s dad, but Luke knew about it. She leaves with her mother and never looks back. Now years later after accomplishing her dream of becoming an actress, Robbi as landed the biggest role of her career. Her only problem is her leading man is none other than Luke Shaw! Will Robbi be able to act with Luke? Will Luke be able to win Robbi back? Will Robbi ever be able to admit that she still loves Robbi?

I received this book as an ARC. Baby Fever Virgin captivated me from the beginning. Here's the basic synopsis: (my honest review at the end)
ROBBI

Once upon a time, love almost killed me.
You never forget your first, or your ruin. For me, Lucus Shaw was both.
First kiss. First surrender. First man to promise me a ring, children, a life together.
I remember his rogue smirk, his soul stinging kiss, the blistering words that always made him a little dangerous.
I gave him my body for one insatiable, unforgettable night. He gave me secrets, heartbreak, and hatred.
Friends, to lovers, to mortal enemies. That's not how it works, but it did.I survived. Adapted. Moved on. But fate just won't keep him the hell away. Now, I'm starring in a billion dollar romantic thriller, and guess who's playing my hero?Hate never fades. It burns like never before when we lie for the cameras, when we lust, even when I'm begging for his baby. So intense I can't tell where the script ends.Second chances? They don't scare me. But what if hate isn't enough, and the man I despise gives me baby fever for real?

LUKE

I was her first, and I'll damned sure be her last.
Robbi's an addiction I can't quit. A million of her icy looks on the set won't make me forget what we had.
Passion. Conquest. How deliciously vulnerable she used to be wrapped around me. How she ached for more. How brutally she ripped my heart out when family lies ended us.Nobody ever said hurt was permanent. Love never fades. I'll make our fake kisses real. It's not too late to have it all. My ring on her hand, my name on her lips, my baby in her. I'll be her alpha and omega, or we'll be nothing.Fasten your safety belt and prepare to swoon. This is a no holds barred second chance romance with an alpha male billionaire, an insane secret or two, and a whole LOT of enemies-to-lovers baby making heat. Zero cliffhangers, no apologies, and happy endings, ahoy!

Loved this book. Any emtions you can think of ran through as I read; love, hate, family, friendship, happiness, anger, lies and betrayals....what a roller coaster. Robbi & Luke's chemistry was off the charts, their scenes were phenomenal, very hot, and sexy.
This is the first book I've read by Nicole Snow.

So I'm not sure where to start with this review. I didn't love this book but I don't hate it either. It definitely got me all fired up when I see the mistakes both the hero and heroine made but I had a hard time getting on board with this book. I just kept thinking that certain things didn't make sense.

This couple made me go nuts with how bad they were with communication. They did not need to be apart for 5 years - it was so unnecessary! Yes, Luke should have opened his mouth about what he knew to give her a heads up but she also shouldn't have been so nasty to him and shoved him out of her life when he technically didn't do anything wrong. Trust is a huge issue, I get that, but she could have at least tried to understand where he was coming from. I understand being angry in the heat of the moment and not thinking clearly but when they spoke a few days later she had had time to calm down and think rationally. I think I felt bad more for Luke than Robbi!

"No matter how sexy he is, how well he calls to my senses with his mad inks and muscle, I'll never forget our unique pain. I'll never forgive him for hiding what he knew, for letting his father prey on us, or for abandoning me in the end."

What? Five years have passed in this story and I'm seriously baffled by her thought process here. I get that her mom twisted her thoughts around but I really am confused as to why she has jumped to these conclusions. Yes, Luke backed off but she basically PUSHED him out of her life. The only thing he can be accused of is not telling her what he knew before she found out herself.

Luckily, after a lot more drama and yet another huge misunderstanding and speed bump, they got things right in the end and were granted a fairy tale ending - which they rightfully deserved. Both of them.

I don't hate this book but I don't think I will be reading it again - it was certainly interesting enough to keep me reading but I just can't deal with the hero and heroine's issues with each other.

little bird…

Not sure about this one. It’s a combination of many other written stories. I wanted to love it but couldn’t let go of reality to let myself enjoy what normally is great escapism. This novel struggled, the beginning is hopeful. You understand that our hero has not had the same magically billionaire childhood. Younger than his brothers, a pilot and actor. But his youth was tragic, his Mom died in a plane crash when he was 5. His Dad never got over it, drank and of course was a womanizer. Though one who not screw a married women. Important part to remember during the lies.

Our hero, hears little birds Mom, with his Dad, it disgusts him. But he already loves our heroine, has a ring, wants to take her away after the obligatory virgin scene and marry her.unfortunately his Dad drops psycho mom, big fight between her drunken Dad and Mom claiming Mr. Shaw blackmailed her to do his sexual favors…completely ending and chance to our leads.

Flash forward 5 years, our Hero, is flying his plane, acting, and lonely. He lands a big part part in movie based on sadistic book (used story). Unbeknown to him, his love, little bird is his co-star. What comes next, is long, mother definitely has issues.screws up her daughter’s life again, and places our hero in jail. All while filming is continuing final weeks.

Where in holiday does the release of block buster movie gets derailed by a psycho mom and does not now their stars were once in love!

Of course there’s a happy ending! Now all I have to do is read the last Shaw brother’s book. Hope it holds my interest better than little Robbi!

First of all the female model on the cover looks nothing like the way the heroine Robby is described. Robby is described as having long blonde hair and the cover model is a short haired brunette. That's a big mistake for the cover designers to make.
I enjoyed this but I am not too keen on Hollywood type heroes and heroines. This is why I can't give it 5 stars. Other than that it was a very sexy second chance romance. The heroine's slutty, psychotic mother ( how in the hell did that crazy bitch end up getting a law degree ? ) was the villain of the story and she lied and manipulated events to make poor Luke spent a couple months in jail. That bitch should have died or been kicked out of their lives for good. I loathed the fact that she was forgiven and even allowed to be in her grandson's life. That did not sit well with me because psychos are especially not safe around kids and pets.
The whole spoof of the 50 Shades of Grey film was kind of cheesy, to be honest. But it did add a lot of extra sexual tension between the MC's. It was in this novel that Luke's oldest brother Grant was introduced and I immediately found him the sexiest of the 3 brothers. Grant was the epitome of power and hotness. I couldn't wait to read his story after he was introduced in this novel.

This was a pretty good story. I recieved this copy in another book from Nicole snow. The story had a good flow and a good story line. A second chance romance. I love Nicole’s writing style and will continue to buy her books.
Overview. Robin was raised by her parents in the maid quarters of The Shaw family. Robin’s mom was the maid at the mansion and her dad worked in accounting dept of the Shaw firm. Robin helped out to earn money for college. Robin stumbled into a room where Luke was playing. At first Luke freaks and chases her off, but finds her shyness irresistible. The start dating and we’re going to run off together until her mom barges in and takes her away and states a bunch of lies. 5 years later, both Luke and Robin are placed as leads in a major movie. The two spark old flames and have to find a way to bond and make up for the past. Will they get that second chance or will robin’s moms lies cause problems again.

edited Aug 1, 24- So I finished the book. Note to self: finish the book before your annoyance with the characters takes over. I mean, I still feel the same way about the characters BUT once I finished, I realized like the author's writing style. :)

I'm not a fan of the easily corrected issues trope. More than that, I cannot stand a willfully blind to other's issues MC. The amount of issues in this book that could've been resolved by literally talking is overwhelming.

Yes, the FMC's mother was a fibber face. However, the FMC's willingness to ignore her father, her gut, and MMC in favor of what the mother said was just ridiculous. It made listening to her dialogue without rolling my eyes impossible.

The MMC also had his own easily avoidable issues. Bro, you know she was mad last time you kept something from her, why would you do it again?

Overall, there are great spicy scenes and a terrible conflict concept. I wish more authors wouldn't take the easy route and make the conflict more complex AND believable (said by someone who has never written for others haha).

Baby Fever Virgin is Luke and Robin's love story. Some of it takes place in the past, and some present day. They met years ago when Robin's parents were servants on Luke's father's estate. Robin stumbled upon him more than once, and developed a crush. He seemed to not care, always teasing as young men do, but they eventually admitted to their feelings.
Some crazy family stuff went down and they get thrown together to act alongside each other years later. There is love and anger and a whole mix of emotions they have to work through, and some other obstacles. There are appearances in the book of Luke's other brothers, one of which has his own love story out, and the other I'm hoping comes next. Nicole Snow is becoming a favorite of mine, I will set aside everything when I get my hands on one of her books!
I received an arc of this.

I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book
What is the expression "The sins of the Father !!! but in this case it's Sins of the Mother too. Lucas Shaw loved Robbi, so much. Then after a devastating moment in time, there love is torn apart. So many secrets, lies and betrayals, so heartbreaking. Years later both Luke and Robbi are in the film making business and unknowingly, have to star opposite one another in an erotic romance. Oh fate can be cruel or can it. A fantastic read of Luke and Robbi, their love torn apart, having to deal with crazy parents, emotions, lies, scandals and so much more. Love fighting a way to stay alive and oh boy, it is one heck of a battle. Brilliant.

I voluntarily reviewed an ARC for an honest opinion. I give it 4.5 stars.

This book started out slowly, but about 4 chapters in it stared to pick up. Robbie (Robin) & Luke fell in love but there family got in the way. They split up & didn't see each other for years. Their broken hearts finally begin to mend together after finding each other again, just for something else to break them apart. Luke is a wonderful sexy man who got shafted. I truly hated Ericka, she is a mean hateful deceitful woman!! Pure evil & should never be forgiven. Luke & Robbie have a relationship full of sexy hot chemistry & I loved it. I don't want to give anything away, but it was a very sexy read.

I want to know what's happening with Luke's brother Grant. The Shaw's are very sexy men!
