Claiming Their Best Friend’s Sister is the fifth installment in Shae Sullivan’s Crooked Creek series. In it she chronicles the polyamorous relationship of Veronica “Ronni”, Ripper, and Alex. Ronni’s older brother is Gretsky, a police officer. He is friends with both Ripper and Alex. When Ronni falls on hard times and facing eviction, she reaches out to her brother for help. Gretsky seeks aid from Ripper and Alex. When they meet Ronni, sparks fly. They battle with their loyalty to their friend and their feelings for Ronni. Like the men she has fallen in love with, Ronni battles with her love for her overprotective brother who continues to treat her as a child and her independence and happiness. How will Gretsky act once he finds out about Ronni and his friends? Will he forgive them? Will this discovery destroy his relationship with his sister? To find out, you must read this book.
Yet again, I enjoyed Ms. Sullivan’s skill with the way she develops her lead characters. In this book, she uses them to drive a character-driven plot. Through her use of dialog, conversational and internal monologue; point of view; and descriptive language. Subsequently, her plot flows evenly and at a quick pace while entertaining her readers.

This story is hot and it’s not the fires they are putting out!
Such a sweet Beautiful story about two best friends and a young lady that are drawn together at first sight. Their one obstacle is her over protective brother who is their best friend. He is very firm in that he doesn’t want them in any type of a relationship with her. He also doesn’t want anyone else near her as he see’s her as his baby sister and needs to protect against all men. As a cop and a huge man, he is very intimidating and physically aggressive towards those that try getting near her. The story unfolds and we get to see the love and friendships as well as some drama and pain. It is filled with lots of steamy sex, beautiful moments of friendship and love, tear jerking hardships, and some hold your breaths where is this story going. Overall a very enjoyable read and a great ending!

Problems Again
The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different outcome. I guess I am a little bit insane because I keep reading Shae Sullivan’s books and expecting her to start proofreading before publication. The number of spelling mistakes and grammatical errors are very distracting from the story. It is as if she checked the first few chapters, but didn’t bother after that. Obviously, she doesn’t care or have any respect for her readers since this has been an ongoing problem in most of her books. This is so unfortunate because I really do enjoy menage romances. So disappointing and I am glad I borrowed this book from Kindle Unlimited instead of paying for it - I would have demanded a refund.

Good story but...
I really liked the story but my biggest complaint about this is that the cover models don't match the character description whatsoever. Don't know why this is one of my pet peeves, but it is. Some authors I have read take great pride in matching their cover to the character. So I guess that's why I wonder why others can't.

Special bond
Good story. A special bond between brother and sister. A special bond between two men and a woman. Overall quality of writing was good, but the proofreading needs attention. That was a bit distracting. No cheating or cliffhanger. You do get some steamy intimacy scenes and a happy ending.

Still good
This really is a good book but I had to rate it a tad low because of all the grammar, spelling and plot errors. I read enough that I could hang with the mistakes but it would have been so much better if someone had edited it properly.

Good book. Some spelling errors. In one case they say they have a broken leg the doctor says broken arm then later its back to a broken leg. I do recommend reading it.

Loved the story and the characters. Weird what they went through. I could see maybe them having car crashes and things like that, but they were shot and set on fire.. But everyone got hurt in this.

I found this book very entertaining.

Instalove menage romance among a virgin and her brother's two best friends was cute and hot. The audiobook was titillating because of the sexy voice of Rodney Falcon.
