This is such a great book! I love how Finished mixes the modern day world, science fiction, the gospel, and the Old Testament.
The story is told as if it takes place in the modern day, but it follows the story line of the Christian gospel. Instead of the 12 disciples and Jesus the story includes 13 teenagers (including the Savior, Jesse) who each have super-natural powers. They are up against the enemy Lucas Sypher who is constantly trying to destroy the teenagers in order to get power.
The story also follows an archeologist named Val Lundy who throughout this story is trying to get his hands on a powerful artifact. Little does he know that he is not the only one after this relic. Lucas Sypher, in his quest for power, is looking to use it as a weapon of destruction.
The story is full of action, wonder, and excitement for any reader. It is a book that captivates me each time I read it (and I have read it many times)
