A great anthology

Each story is independent yet little throw away sentences hint at hundreds of years of progress and drama. The anthology comes full circle, starting with the first diplomatic interaction with an alien species, intervening drama, misunderstanding and war, and then reconciliation. I enjoyed the journey immensely.

Wow. Coolest anthology I’ve read in awhile. :-) they’re in the same basic universe but each one is unique and relevant.
