Operation Thunderbolt

Rate this book
Germany's elite Department 89 has crossed paths with the Central Intelligence Agency on more than one occasion. But after their last encounter, Langley decides enough is enough.

Sending a covert black-ops hit team to Berlin, the CIA Director orders the deaths of the Department 89 chiefs and the obliteration of the entire department. A deadly message must be sent to German Chancellor Claudia Meyer, and Agent Tom Finn is the messenger.

But Finn and his team have never met anyone like Department 89 before. By the end, there can only be one victor - and Finn is on Decker's home turf.

Department 89- MORE!!

Soffit and her gang are one of my favorite teams to route for. They are the best and are great at their job. The only thing that could be better would be if they were longer and more often!! Great. GMR

Department 89 is fast becoming my favorite. Operation Thunderbolt is another fast paced action packed read. This one is a bit different because it pits the CIA vs Department 89. Another super spy thriller.

The Worst in a Long Time

Unbelievably bad.

Implausible plot.

Horrible writing and stilted dialogue. If felt an 8th grader wrote it.

Candidly, I stuck with it because it was short, free and it was worth warning others to not waste their time

Sophie does it again.

Sophie Decker, Department 89, rogue CIA agents, a ton of assassinations stir them all together and you have an exciting thriller on your hands.

The best of all 12 in the series. O'Neill has built a series with thoroughly satisfying twists and conclusions. Can't wait for the next on. Maybe #13 will be a lucky one!
