Exciting and Intense

God these books just grip you by the heart and refuse to let you go. From the first page until the next page. I love these books and the way they tell the story for the different characters involved. This way you can see things from everyone's perspective.

You can feel everyone's emotions and you cannot help but pull out the tissues when you need them because sometimes the emotions grip you so tight you cannot help but cry.

To me the best book makes you laugh and cry as you read.

I loved this book. It was so full of emotion and turmoil but also so full of love that I had a hard time putting it down to go to sleep.
I loved that Declan accepted George although he didn’t consider himself “bi”. I loved how he tried to help make the nightmares go away. And I loved how all three were trying to make it work through all of the emotional conflicts.
I can’t wait fir the third book to come out.

When I read the last page, I deep breath. It felt like I had been holding my breath through this novel. There are ups and downs, twists and turns. It is written beautifully. I loved the flawed characters in this series. Declan is no exception. There is such depth to his character, I felt like he could have walked out of the book.

I HATED the grooming and moulding that Declan went through with Casey. It was really uncomfortable to read. It almost gave me pedophile vibes. I know they didn't do anything until Declan was of age but it still felt really uncomfortable.
The only reason I gave it 2star was because I loved Declan's relationship with George. It felt more loving and trustworthy to me.

I love Declan, he feels everything so deeply. I didn't like that Casey started the relationship when he was so young though, it felt kinda creepy. I still prefer George and Declan and I had a hard time going through the flashback chapters when it was just Casey and Declan. I still like the universe and I want to read the next trilogy, but I'm dreading reading Casey's book first.

Grief: Declan is wonderful. This series is quite outstanding.

I love how three dimensional this character is. I love how he flipped the fuck out on Ma'am. I love how playful he is, yet alpha at work. The whole dynamic works for me.

On the surface, Declan is a cinnamon roll hero. At his core, he's more like the cinnamon challenge. While George and Casey might think that he's kind of along for their ride, it was incredibly satisfying when he made it clear that he was an equal partner in their dynamic despite his "submissive" status. This nontraditional love story would not work without him, and he's the true heart of this trilogy.
