Two emotional and gripping love stories from USA Today Bestselling Author Devney Perry. This box set includes:

THE BIRTHDAY LIST
Poppy Maysen carries a journal in her purse. Its pages were filled long ago by a man who craved adventure, lived life to the fullest and never failed to make her laugh. The journal is his birthday list—one she vows to complete.

She’ll do the things he wanted to do most. Because maybe, just maybe, if she can finish his list, she can start to live again.
Poppy expects going through the birthday list will be hard. She expects it to hurt. But what she doesn’t expect is Cole. Could the man who watched her heart shatter be the one to put it back together again?

LETTERS TO MOLLY
Molly Alcott didn’t expect to open her mailbox one summer morning and find an old letter stuffed between bills and a supermarket flyer. Penned in familiar handwriting, dated over fifteen years ago, the letter was written to Molly after her first date with the man she’ll never forget.

Week after week, new letters appear. Each marks an event in the history of their epic love affair. Each heals a wound. Each holds the confession of the man who still owns Molly’s heart.

The letters are full of promise, hope and love, but truth be told, Molly wishes she could unread them all.

Because the man who wrote these letters is not the one sending them.

Emotional and so, so real.

That's how I would describe these two books. They could be true stories and will grip your heart from the very beginning.

The Birthday List is the story of Poppy. Poppy has been married a year before her life is ripped from her. It will take a long time, an amazing cop, and her family and friends to complete a birthday bucket list in order to find closure and maybe get on with her life. In the process, Cole will try to put her back together piece by agonizing piece. Cole...he is the most patient, loving, understanding man. Swoon worthy for sure.

The second book in the series, Letters For Molly, follows Poppy's brother Finn and her best friend Molly. Married once, now divorced they have to navigate the world of co parenting their two kids. It's obvious they both still have feelings for each other and when Finn's letters start showing up in Molly's mailbox years of hurt and love and memories start pouring out. When tragedy strikes it will either tear them apart again or bring them back together. On top of all that, Finn isn't the one sending Molly the letters, so who is?!?!

I know this sound a little cryptic but I am trying to give you a feel for how good these two books are without giving away the story. What I can say is this? Read both books, set aside the time so you can start the second right after the first. I was super invested in Poppy, Cole, Finn, and Molly and all their family and friends and I read both books in just a few days!

I already owned the first book but hadn't purchased the second book when I noticed this boxset so I will combine my reviews. There is no doubt that this author is very talented. She knows how to create a story that tugs at the heartstrings. Watching this family recoup and rediscover love was truly priceless. Even though Poppy and Cole's story wasn't my favorite that she has written it was strong and definitely drew my attention for Molly and Finn. This duet is highly recommended.

The Birthday List
4.4stars

Very different than I was expecting. A little slower start and not the typical main character that I was getting used to from this character. My heart hurt for Poppy and I loved the premise of the story.

I'm very intrigued by Finn and Molly and can't wait to see how their story unfolds.

Letters to Molly
4.5 stars

Well, I was right to be intrigued by Molly and Finn because holy hell was this a fantastic story. There is something to be learned about the message in this. I was so invested in knowing why the letters were being sent and furthermore knowing who was sending them. I liked what the messages forced these two to deal with. It hit home in so many ways. It made me reflect on my own divorce and see areas that I could have improved or that we could have improved (and no, that ship has sailed but it still gave me food for thought and a lessoned learned.

I did have some issues with what came out from Molly and her confusion. Seemed like that would have led to more of a discussion. I, also, wanted further clarification on what Molly had seen as it raised questions for me if it was planned or what. I liked the intention behind the lessons learned but the timing seemed weird to me. However, these things were just me being picky. It just seemed like a long time to wait to make a move. ** This book was read from The boxset and is not owned individually.

The Birthday List

*****What I Enjoyed*****
A constant page turner and it sucked me in immediately! A whopper of a first chapter – both awesome and horrible.
Gave me things to think about.
The tension and apprehension are palpable.
I love Poppy’s fierce determination. I love that she could easily see that her husband would want her to move on and be happy.
Cole Goodman!
Slow burn. And one HOT scene.
A murder to solve.
Randall and Jimmy!! They are the absolute best side characters. Think Grumpy Old Men. Hilarious!
The way “buying someone a new car” worked out.

*****What I Didn’t Enjoy*****
I felt disconnected from the story at times. I couldn’t pinpoint why, but it could have been that a couple times he came on a little too strong. The story was never unenjoyable, though.
One sex scene didn’t feel necessary to the story. It just felt added in instead of natural.
There were a couple times that Poppy took things out on Cole that really put me off. This might have been another reason why I felt disconnected to them at times.

While this book had a couple issues for me, it was still thoroughly enjoyable and addictive! I finished it excited to start the next book! 4 Stars!

Letters to Molly

*****What I Enjoyed*****
Molly liked the idea of being courted by a man, and I could so get behind that. She wasn’t at all like I expected her to be after just getting glimpses in The Birthday List. She was so much more! I went into this story scared I wouldn’t like her character because of the cheating mentioned in the first book, but I was soooo very glad I gave her a shot!
Second chance romance
It brought on some tears! And then more tears! Perry seriously pulled on my emotions!
Finn’s persistance is so sexy!
More Randall and Jimmy! Too funny!

*****What I Didn’t Enjoy*****
The ending felt just a little drawn out. I thought a few times that I was at the end and then another issue would be wrapped up in another chapter.

This book was so good and definitely pulled on the emotions! I fell so hard for these characters! I’m definitely looking forward to reading more from Devney Perry!! 4.5 Stars!

What a great way to enjoy these stories!
I read The birthday List and Letters to Molly individually and I loved these characters and their story. So reading both stories is truly a gift!

This heartfelt romance was highly emotional with equal parts heart wrenching/heart warming passionate story. It was one of those stories that once I started I reading I didn’t stop until the end!

Flawlessly written with likable and relatable characters, this author always adds these unexpected twists to her stories making them more in depth and enjoyable.

Told in dual POV which I always prefer in giving me front and center stage seating into their characters.
Each story was well developed and it flowed naturally. The ugly parts and complicated parts of love are dissected, and the result was stunning.

Wow! This a a really deep story. If you've been married for a while, you'll totally see how this can happen in a good marriage. If you haven't, let this be a lesson to you. It's a very heartfelt story. Yes, HEA.

I liked both of these books, I didn't love them as much as I did other Devney Perry books and to be honest I feel a bit traitorous leaving 4 stars instead of my usual 5 stars.

Just the right amount of pain to make the love feel real

I wasn’t looking for an angsty story to tear my heart out and make it bleed. I just wanted some good strong feels and this balance was just right.

A BEAUTIFUL SERIES

The birthday list wrecked me. I sobbed, I laughed and then I cried so more. It was seriously so sweet, I never wanted the book to end. It made me so excited to read the next book.

At first I wasn’t sure about Letters to Molly, I didn’t see myself liking it. I’m glad to say I was wrong. There are so many wise words throughout this book. I’ve never read any books like this where the main characters get divorced. The Birthday List is still my favorite but this was was really good too.

I have always been the type of person who feels like I need to read each and every book in one sitting but not with this one. I found myself putting the book down more and more so that way I could draw the book out longer. It was so well written and honestly may be my favorite Devney Perry book so far!!

An amazing second chance romance. Molly and Finn had a picture-perfect marriage until they didn’t. Then years after the divorce, one day a letter arrived in Molly’s mailbox. The letter is in Finn’s handwriting and it was dated fifteen years ago, he wrote it after their first date. Week after week letters arrive little by little heal her heart. My heart just melted into the epilogue!!
