Beneath the Lights has a special place in my heart because the exceptionally gifted Ms. Moore weaves a tale that starts in the present day marriage of Marc & Jill, but then pops back to their childhood so we can walk their path to find each other together.

Not only is this a well loved friends-to-lovers trope, it also shows the power of young love to endure. Not only does Beneath the Lights chronicle the adorable relationship between Marc & Jill, but also navigates some messy family drama that will be all too real and relatable for many readers. It provides a unique facet to this heartwarming tale that could easily jump from the written pages to the TV screen.

More times than I'll actually admit I went from tearing up to ugly crying while reading Beneath the Lights. Although this is a short, fast read it doesn't skimp on the emotion. And, as always, Ms. Moore delivers all the feels in spades.

I can't possibly recommend this sweet and emotional holiday read. Grab your copy today on Amazon it read for free with Kindle Unlimited.

I went into this thinking it was a one, maybe two, dimensional Christmas romance but it is so much more. It is a fabulous novel that happens to be a romance. You'll start reading in the present-day lives of Jill and Marc, yes they are in love but it is hard to stay focused with kids and life in the way, he author takes us on a journey to how they were, where they went, and how they found each other to end up where they are today.
A lot of feelings are bought to the surface in the reader and in the characters of this novella.
I look forward to reading more of Author Taralynn Moore's romance novels after reading this.

Moving and wonderful

This story is so fantastic. It’s festive and soul-stirring and thoughtful and masterfully crafted and just gave me the biggest injection of holiday spirit possible. Marc & Jill are perfectly imperfect, multi-faceted people and we get a glimpse at the arc of their love story from beginning to bittersweet happy ending. Ms. Moore weaves beautiful Christmas magic with her words, and I couldn’t think of a book that better embodies what the season is all about: family.

“All because, despite it all, every high and low and heartbreak...we stayed.”

I’d give it 10 stars if I could. <3

💫"All because, years ago, we'd chosen to spend our Christmas together. All because, along the way, we fought to find our way, together. All because, despite it all, every high and low and heart break . . . WE STAYED."✨
Jill and Marc's story is a story of a childhood promise to always have the Christmas together.
This story was so festive, with all the Christmas feels.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. It was my kinda story, so pure and imperfectly perfect!! This was one of those books when you are nearing the end you don’t want it to actually be done. Their story is a kind of story/life/love we all wish for.
It is a beautiful story of love, TRUE LOVE, Commitment and Family.

I’ve been neck deep in schoolwork and history texts, and really needed something light and fun. What a coincidence this little gem dropped just when I was looking!

There’s nothing fancy here. It’s a sweet, lovely story about two kids who fell in love. This author’s voice is honest and clear, and she delivers everything you could want in a friends-to-lovers holiday romance. Just what I needed!

I’ll be adding some more of her work to my TBR!

This is a beautiful holiday romance. I'm so glad I waited until December to read it. I wasn't sure how the author was going to have enough tension with the couple already married with children but she executed it perfectly. Had me crying and laughing and ready to enjoy all of my holiday traditions.
