I'm not one to read a lot of murder mysteries but a friend suggested I read it. Wow, I could not put it down and really enjoyed the twists and turns. There are like most murder mysteries hints along the way but for me personally, I only noticed 1, until I got close to the end. That makes it a really good read for me. For a 1st book for this author, I thought the author did a great job to keep my attention. I could see this book as a movie, but would it be as good as the book? Hmmmm.

If you like murder mysteries and psychological thrillers, you'll love The Blackstone Project. The arc of the mystery is fast-paced, you can cut the suspense with a knife, and the plot twists kept me guessing until the satisfying conclusion. I felt connected to the main characters, Sarah and Dave, who have great chemistry. I relished despising the nasty characters that turn up along the way. I marvelled at how the author describes the scenes inside the women’s prison with such detail. In the spirit of full disclosure, I read and helped edit early versions of the first few chapters but it was great to read the whole book cover-to-cover. I thoroughly enjoyed Dalia Rahm's first novel and look forward to the sequel.

I am just getting into GoodReads. I read this book a few years ago. It was a very good read for me! I still recall some key aspects of this book and still think about it from time to time. In my opinion it was well written with good character development and a good plot. I definitely recommend reading this book for those who are interested in reading mysteries and thrillers.
