I enjoyed following Sebastian and Amelia along their journey, taking the twists and turns with them. I look forward to exploring their relationship in book 2.

I liked the tension between Amelia and Sebastian. It was good to see each character grow, and I'd like to see the next book.

I absolutely loved this book! I loved this book and Amelia - Part One by Layla Powers is the first installment in the Amelia saga which focuses on Amelia Birkehart, who becomes head of the Birkehart Corporation following her father’s death, and Sebastian Harris, a wealthy player who was completing a multi-million dollar deal with Birkehart Corporation. Sebastian and Amelia meet head-on as they have architectural disagreements over Legacy Towers, a luxury building financed with Birkehart Corporation funding and being built by Sebastian’s firm. Their emotional disagreements, however, turns into strong sexual attraction. This book is a well written quick read which has a great plot, amazing characters, and lots of sizzling chemistry. Beware, the book ends in a cliffhanger. The continuation of Amelia and Sebastian’s story will be published on January 1, 2020 entitled Amelia -Part Two.

Meet Amelia, she is a party girl, that is until her father passes away and leaves her to take over the family business at Birkehart Corporation. Amelia meets Sebastian who was in the middle of a business deal with her father when passed. The Luxury Towers project brings these two characters but also creates alot of heated discussions and mixed opinions. The story of Amelia and Sebastian does end in this book so there is a cliffhanger ending. I enjoyed reading this book as it was well.weitten, fast paced story, the characters are great and the twists in the story keep you entertained as you turn the pages. I cannot wait for Amelia - Part Two. Enjoy!

I enjoyed this book. It's a great story and what I imagine to be the start of their relationship.
Sebastian and Amelia are opposites but are forced to work together after Amelia father dies. They comes to a stale mate in negotiations and Sebastian offers her a solution that she can't ignore, doesn't want but can't afford to refuse. Then they both have to deal with the aftermath.
I found the start of the book was a good pace, it layed out all the foundations of the story, but the end just seemed rushed, I think it could have been longer. I also struggled with Amelia being so young, unless it means something in a later book, I think she would be more believable if she was older than 20.
I do want to read book 2 though, to see where their story leads.

I enjoyed this book by Layla Powers and devoured the story in a matter of an hour or so. I can’t wait to read the sequel and explore Amelia and Sebastian’s journey together!

Sometimes a really bad book surprises you by rising from the ashes. “Amelia” is not that book.
Amelia has taken over her father's empire after his sudden death and desperately needs to complete the development of Legacy Tower.
Preventing that from happening is builder Sebastian.
At an early stage I can predict where this is going:
Amelia: “She’d been mesmerised by his green eyes, noticing the gold flecks that danced within them when he smiled.”
Sebastian: “She’d stood there all opinionated with her big blue eyes and pouty lips telling me, ME, what to do! Who does she think she is?”
So, they are heading for a lengthy battle through the courts? It's not even a possibility, my predication is hot and heavy sex!
And then it cuts to the chase/
Amelia: “So, you want me to give you my body for a night, so I can get my project back up and running?”
It's a trainwreck of a book and totally predictable. Avoid.

Hot billionaire? Yes, please. Amelia and Sebastion are oil and water, but when they get together, something happens. I liked seeing things from the male point of view (even though he was kind of a jerk - LOL). These two characters unfold before our eyes and the steamy bits are amazing!

This is book one in this series. This book will take you on an emotional rollercoaster. The story line is well written and easy to read. I highly recommend this story. I received this arc for a honest voluntary review.

This book hooked me from the beginning. I just couldn’t put it down. I fell for these characters and, what a story just perfect.
