A step down from the first issue, I hope it picks back up next issue, because my rating takes recent issues in consideration, so getting a 4 star last time makes 3 stars possible, getting 5 stars last time makes 4 stars possible and 3 star improbable. Anyway I wasted the day, I spent it playing, I read a lot of what I wanted at the start of the day, and it was looking promising, now I might not even finish my third and final comic of the day. Back to the story, actually forget that. I still don't understand why we need two Cables why make the age of apocalypse happen in this timeline when it was such a dangerous event. I like the girls bonding, I feel Cable doesn't fit in this team, Psylocke doesn't seem to care except for her revenge, Laura seems too caught up thinking about her anger, but he is the one who is thinking about justice and saving people, and it really suits him because he is the one who had a solo title where he was saving people and doing missions. But Psylocke is on the right track wanting to learn from her friends. If next issue is another step down then I won't be able to hold back the 3 star rating, let's get better. And still love the art it's the best thing about this comic. Also who is that assassin woman?!
I dialoghi.
This run feels as if it has the least to do with the rest of the books out right now. That’s not necessarily a bad thing but it does make me question if I even need to pick this up to understand the rest. Considering how much is out I wouldn’t mind being able to put one down.
I'm liking this week's issue significantly less than the previous one. Might drop this line and hope the plot doesn't tie too much to the other X-books.
The mutant figures look a bit off, too… the female bodies (butts and Psylocke's chest in a couple of panels) too overtly sexualized. Suffice to say I don't enjoy the artwork. The best thing about this issue is the front cover, which is pleasing to look at.
Meh This one fell flat. It was still trying to sell the idea of not everyone is happy with peace. & what the fuck is Dazzler doing in this storyline? Weird...but uninteresting.
Still not necessarily sure on the purpose of this book and it ends at a weird time considering nothing of note happens in the volume.
The idea strikes me as a decent one, a kind of black ops, old school Xforce rehash, as that was a popular run but this hasn't yet gotten out of first gear.
Least favourite of the New Dawn titles. The story is confusing. The art is dark and messy. Also I'm confused how Kid Cable is in this and in X-Men at the same time and he has two completely differing personalities in each run.
Since they have the style of writing notes and other definitions with the Dawn of X Arc, they should have placed a note on this Issue, about where this took place - was this after Psylocke became Captain Britain or this before?
A slightly better issue than the previous entry, but there are sub-plotlines that I am utterly confused about. Too much doom and gloom poetry on every page.
I’m really enjoying the cast of characters and the overall plot of this series so far. I feel like there’s been a balanced blend of quick backstory and real time stakes that’s keeping me on my toes.
This issue had a lot of action but was a bit difficult to follow. I really like the team so I am hopeful it will start to click more soon. The art is pretty decent too.
