A fantastic book on one of Walt Disney’s lesser known films. Released following the Second World War this film is essentially two extended shorts put together in one feature length film. The film itself is simple, but delightful, while this book combines fantastic pictures and artwork with a thorough overview of the film’s developmental history to create something really enjoyable. To top it off the book features reviews from the year that it debuted allowing the reader to gain a contemporary perspective.
