Overall it's a great series and I completely recommend it. I really enjoyed the author's style and overall the emotional roller blades to keep up were so worth it. I absolutely adore Victor who kept me in stitches and yes there were a few other characters that made it all worth while. I love this clean suspense. There truly was plenty of action and oh crap moments that kept the thrill going at a fever pitch.
Book 1:
Well hells bells if that aint about a twisted tale. This author had a lot going on and yeah for a minute I was absolutely thoroughly lost. But, yes there is a but, it wasn't the bad kinda lost it was a what in the hell is this author doing kinda lost, which is totally alright. This author has some great characters and awesome twist going on throughout the story. Each time pieces are revealed you find yourself saying okay that works now where to from here. She also loves leading you down false paths so watch out for the traps. Yes there is a cliff hanger but thank goodness the rest of the series is out and I won't have to suffer for long. A great clean read that will definitely have you pouring a drink and slamming it. I am new to this author and I love her style I will see if the rest of the series keeps me on edge like the first one did.
Book 2:
Well there may be some good stuff in this book of the series but it is buried in redundancy. Unfortunately there are very few new details just a retelling of everything she remembered when she got her memory back but in real time. I got the boxset so I finished it. I loved the first and third books but this one just felt like it was a waste but I am so glad I didn't let it stop me from reading the third book.
Book 3:
With the disappointment from book two a the forefront of my mind I went into this book unsure of what I would find. Happy to report that this one truly redeemed the author from the repetitive yawn I found book 2 to be. With everything coming to a head there are plenty of surprises for the rag tag team. Relationships will be healed. Love will be ignited. Memories will be restored and taken over and over and there will be plenty of action in the meantime. This author does propel her characters into problems and has mega twist to get them through. completely enjoyed this author's style and I will most definitely read more. This isn't a standalone series however for me books one and three were off the chain.

A fantastic series filled with extraordinary surprises!
It is so hard to leave a review for a really great story without sharing any spoilers. First, I want to say that I respect an author that has a developed vocabulary and does not litter the book with foul and abusive language. Jessie Cal is a new author to me that I added to my favorite author’s list after reading this series.
So, let me share what I liked about this series in general terms: a suspenseful and thrilling story, an abundance of mysterious romantic connections, a clean drama filled with intriguing and unexpected surprises, a book that is hard to put down-even to sleep.
Book 1 - Memories Lost: Mia, Hugh, Ethan, and Sophia are wonderful characters woven into an engaging and entertaining story of mystery and romance.
Book 2 - Memories Restored: In addition to the great mystery, Mia’s story continues with more revelations about family, friends, and romantic relationships. So many twists and turns, drama and danger, love and emotions explode in this book.
Book 3 (actuality a prequel) - Memories Recalled: I wondered about it being at the end of the set; but not any longer, it is a perfect complement to the series as it presents Mia’s background story. I understand her motivations so much better now. Even though it is labeled as a “prequel”, I recommend reading the first two books before this book.

PHENOMENAL!!! Jessie Cal deserves high praises for coming up with such a unique storyline that will make you question everything around you. It had me hooked from the very first page, and it was so action-packed, I could not put it down. I read it through the night because just when I thought I had found a place to pause, something would happen that would make me want to keep reading. It was none stop action and so many surprises. AND WHAT A MIND-BLOWING SURPRISE IS IN STORE!!! The twist and turns in this book will blow you out of this planet! And you will find yourself holding your breath until the very last page. I wish I could rate this book so much higher than just 5 stars. It was truly the best romantic suspense series I've read this year, and I look forward to reading more from this author.

I really liked this romantic suspense series of three books, but Book 2 was definitely my favourite. I found Book 3 somewhat repetitive and I guess that is why the new name 'Memories Recalled' was chosen for this book on the rewrite and new cover. I think I would rather to have read this book, which is now listed as a Prequel, first. There were parts of it that I found confusing. This author can write though and I have a feeling that I will be thinking about her characters and the Catalyst machine for some time.

This series is just exceptional! I can see this being made into a movie. It was so well-written and the plot was beyond anything I've ever read. I grabbed me from the very first book of the series and it had me hooked until the very last page of the third book. Simply genius!
