Uhmandra

Rate this book
Disorder and confusion has taken over Hock City after Langston - the strange, human visitor - arrived. Humans have been gone for some time; the others who remain have been hidden. Only a few know he is human, however, while The Guardian of Hock City wants to keep it that way. This surprising and shocking visit caused an unexpected headache, triggering The Guardian to abruptly evacuate and lock down the city in order to find the human intruder. His impatience with the chase has grown, creating a frenzy for those around him.

Because of these events, the activity inside the walls is no longer normal, as if one could actually use the word normal to describe what happens here.

Langston's only goals are to survive and find his way back home. Although, he needs more time and help in order to reach these goals.

His mission has affected several others, fueling and reigniting some desires of the new people he has met. He had no idea that his journey would incorporate other lives, especially in this magnitude.

Langston gets closer to discovering the true whereabouts of his home, Uhmandra, with assistance from Jesse, Kinth, Miles and some others. More importantly, he discovers who he is.
