An unexpected road trip. Angry emotions. A recipe for the perfect storm… Clyde Stowe is a reformed bachelor turned devoted boyfriend, but when Kim Haynes refuses to break her vow of celibacy their romance ends. An unexpected road trip forces them together where angry unresolved emotions push them even further apart. What they don’t expect is for nature to intervene in ways they aren’t prepared for. Kim made it through Hurricane Katrina, but is she strong enough to survive this storm? Can Clyde find the courage to turn back to the God he abandoned long ago? And will Tamar and Stephen survive them both?

Sweet! Sassy! Suspenseful! And I loved every word even when the story made me cry!!!
Should be smooth sailing now that Stephen has met his 11 year old son. His crazy ex-girlfriend has been exposed for the liar she is. But I think Donna, Stephen's mother, got off way too easy, for her deceitful actions toward Tamar.
Book # 3 begins with 8 months pregnant Tamar, Kim and Clyde stuck in a snowstorm after the car slides into a ditch. Praying time is RIGHT now! They end up in an unheated church, with no phone service, and boy do they need a miracle.
Both Clyde and Kim put their differences aside and ask for a miracle so that both Tamar and the baby will survive. Wow, the Good LORD surely works in mysterious ways! Awesome series!
Clyde Stowe has changed his ways and is devoted to his girlfriend, Kim Haynes. But, their relationship ends when she refuses to sleep with him and jeopardize her faith. Then the couple is reunited during a road trip and their close proximity forces them to confront issues from their past. I really enjoyed reading about the characters in this story. They had a huge difficulty to overcome and had to rely on their faith. There were strong faith elements that made this story a beautiful story of second chances and divine miracles. Moments within the story had my heart pounding and had be sliding the kindle page to see what would happen next. There were some spiritual nuggets that you can take away with you as a reader. Sharing a couple: "...making confession to God can be as public or personal as you want. Getting to know him isn't a moment, it's a journey." "Often the path back to a relationship with God is a winding one that includes little prayers and conversations and even disagreements with him...God knows when a heart is turned toward him, even when we don't know it ourselves."
First of all I’ve read this entire series so I was more than ecstatic to see Winter Baby had been released Thanksgiving Day! What better way to end the day than with a book? Now what I didn’t realize was God knew this book was just for me! It was more than about getting a good read. Winter Baby has been my message of hope for my church. You see, I Pastor a small church in Louisiana and God told me three years ago to move. I couldn’t get the faith I needed because my money didn’t match His request. Then The Lord pushed me out! We all know when we don’t move in obedience, He’ll let all he’ll break loose. Now, I’m in a borrowed building and trying to have faith enough in a miracle for a new building for New Vessels. Then along comes Winter Baby. I cried, screamed, prayed, and eventually thanked God during and for this book. I also thanked God for the author who had no idea that she’d be helping to lift me in my high faith with this book, in this season. Read this book!! Ex specially if you need God to work a miracle or the miraculous in your life. Miracles aren’t happening in books, I believe God only gives this type of divine importation to authors to remind readers that He’s still God. I recommend this book to every struggling pastor, everyone in need of a healing, everyone who just had a loved on to die, and every Women’s Ministries who have reading groups. There is bound to be a lesson for you. Now, I can’t wait for the next book in this series!!!
Rhonda McKnight truly knows how to titillate a reader’s nerves with plot twists that pull you in until the very last punctuation. I loved “The Winter Reunion” and “The Winter Wedding,” so I had waited anxiously for “The Winter Baby,” in the Restoration Series. Less than 48 hours after celebrating CHRISTmas 2019, while gospel music played softly in the background, “The Winter Baby,” demanded my attention. God truly gifted Rhonda to craft a novella about a baby on the way while a storm brewed in the physical realm and in the hearts of two people who seemingly were unequally yoked in the spiritual realm.
“The Winter Baby” unfolds like a great movie that’s hard to recount without being a spoiler. It has the trademarks of the author’s calling as an authentic Christian writer. She’s unashamed of the gospel of Jesus Christ and her characters mirror her faith. Of course, there’s the intensity of love between a man and woman. How do you remain holy when the flesh is pleasing to the eyes? How do you trust God when your past keeps taunting you? Are miracles real? We know how God healed the relationship between Stephen and Tamar Pierce, and now they’re happily married and expecting a baby. However, a snowstorm has thrust their best friends and exes, Clyde and Kim, back together in a desperate situation. Is desperation good soil to plant true repentance, forgiveness and restoration? Rhonda masterfully answers that and more in “The Winter Baby.”
This was a really really good read! I fell in love with Tamar and a Stephen in book 1 and this continuation of their story with a twist is so delightful and inspiring! I shed a few happy tears at that reminder of a story about my God who specializes in impossibilities!!!! The Good news about Jesus is laced in this story and I think the author has done an amazing job of both entertaining and ministering in this book! I hope there is at least one book 📖 in this series 😁
Man, It took me a minute to get my thoughts together after reading this book. Rhonda has a way of showing just how caring and amazing God is. She always shows how real God is and how he cares for us, even though we feel all hope is lost. You can always see God and his faithfulness in each and every story, and this one is no exception. An amazing read with real life situations, and an on time Heavenly Father, that truly cares for us
I was so touched by this entire series especially this book. Tamar, Kim and Clyde went on a simple trip that turned into a nightmare . Pastor Jack was down and out with the condition of his church. Just when there seemed to be no hope, God showed up and turned things into joy. God is always on time. The last chapter brought me to tears. You must read the entire series. So good.
I started reading after my Thanksgiving meal and could not stop reading. I was very antisocial until I finished the book. A big thank you to Rhonda McKnight for making my Thanksgiving day extra special. The book was like homemade ice cream on top of sweet potato pie. When you start reading, you will not out of town until you finish.
Even though the ending is predictable, you want to keep reading to enjoy the journey. Characters are well developed and struggles are real. I love how God's attributes are shown throughout the story. It makes the reader examine his or her own walk with God. To God be the glory.
This is an awesome book and series. I loved the ending to this series of books and how the characters developed and continued throughout the book. I love the spiritual and religious aspects that are carried out throughout this book. I can relate to the fact that prayer works and miracles do happen.
Loved the fast moving story. Story wasn't bogged down in drama Good plot. Traveling thru winter weather and an accident happens that alters course of travel. The storms becomes a blizzard and a new life is ready to make an unexpected arrival. I will follow up for the series because this was good, clean, and faith based! My kind of novel.
Wow! One of the best non-erotic series I've read!!!
This book (and those that preceed it) kept me throughly entertained! It had twist and turns that I wasn't expecting. You know a story is good when you are taking to the characters 😆. The fact that it has spiritual (Christianity) aspects intertwined was the icing in top! Oh, be sure to read the books in order. Enjoy!
I laughed and cried while reading this book! The amazing faith of some of the people were a reminder to me that with God all things are possible! This is definitely a must read series!
What a great story. Tamar, Clyde, and Kim face a perilous experience that ONLY GOD can orchestrate and deliver from. What do you do when you have no one to turn to but HIM? Oh yes, and is a near deathbed experience with GOD good enough?
The entire Restoration series is great, but this book, for me was the most powerful. I was all in! It was great watching journey of Tamar and Clyde. The scriptures, prayers and messages were just what I needed in my spirit to start 2020.
This series was awesome the stories were beautifully written, I wish this book.was longer and had more about Clyde and Kim story, keep writing. Rhonda ,oh I love that you included 💓💓💓💓all the bible scriptures.
I read the series and I will say, you have been added as another one of my favorite authors! Thank you for the Scriptures and the characters were awesome! About to read your other books.
The end of the Restoration Series was awesome. This was my favorite of the 3. The Lord is always present and working things out when we can't see it!! Great job Rhonda!! I would love to read more about Kim and Clyde.
Thank you for Stephen and Tamara's journey. Relationships and fear are real Clyde and Kim both had fear, but God is always waiting for our transparency so he can deliver us from the weight that bounds us. This series is an amazing read.
Excellent read, I enjoyed the characters and storyline. This is a continuation of Stephen and Tamar story after marriage. Along with Clyde and Kim’s relationship with God and each other. This is a journey of faith and Love.
I loved how this book illustrates how God always has things in play to answer prayer that impacts more than one person. This was so good. It took I turn that I didn't expect that had me finish the remainder of the book in one night.
Rhonda McKnight I thankyou for this book you have written its very ❤heartwarming. I believe everything happens for a reason. At times we walk away from God, when we need Him the most. Clyde needed this to open his eyes to the truth. 💘Love is what we all need🌹
