This is an eclectic collection of short stories, flash fiction, and poems from new and more experienced indie writers in the Maple Grove [Minnesota] Writers’ Studio. And as many and varied are the stories found here are the genres represented: from reminiscences to police procedurals, and from pastoral descriptions of the countryside in the spring and winter to a disturbing but poignant tale the discovery of a child with autism. This is the work of ten writers, and the stories and poems included in this anthology are as different and individual as the writers. If you’re looking for something new with which to curl up on a cold winter night (or even a warm summer evening on the porch), this might just fill the bill.
