Sweet Alexei finds his mate in vulnerable Heidi.. 4.5 stars!
I loved this book so much mainly because of Alexei! He was so determined and cheeky that he was impossible not to love. He was exactly who Heidi needed, someone to support her and stand by her side no matter what. I really loved their journey to love, and I cannot wait for Maxim's story next! ♡
Usually I don't read that kind of book and unfortunately this book just reinforced my previous opinion😣 Luckily it was a short read otherwise I wouldn't finish it... The story is corny without any originalty, the storyline is predictable and boring, the guy is stupid and lame🙄 And what about the FMC who switched from "I don't want a relationship" to a horny silly girl repeating "Oh yeah, please bite me my alpha!"🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️ Definitely not my cup of tea🤷🏻♀️
So far this is my favorite. Heidi was left with a seriously awful reputation after she was on a reality show, that we all know not much reality. But now she babysits twins for her best friend and also tense bar. Always adds to a book when you throw in two rambunctious kids. Alexei loved swimming in his bear form. Being a polar bear shifter and being stuck in extremely hot climate there were not many ways to cool off. What happens when you meet your meet in your bear form? It really added to the story, and it was really good while it lasted for Heidi, until she found out the truth. Now Alexei had to find a way to make it up to her, she is human and now she knows about shifters, and he realizes that he has made such a huge mistake letting her believe he was only a very strange and comforting bear and not Alexei the man. Really good story with a really good ending.
Wow, I can't believe what Heidi was going through because of her past.
Really, I can't believe how judgemental people were towards Heidi knowing that what she went through in the reality show was just that a show, and for them to harass her because of it was so dumb! And seeing how Alexei stood up for her and saw through everything people said and didn't judge her was the best. I wish she could have seen her worth before and not let people walk all over her because of the show would have been great but I know how hard it is when people keep telling you the same thing over and over, sometimes you start believing them. But thankfully, Alexei was able to make her see her worth, and they were able to get their HEA. Now I can't wait to see which of the last 2 P.O.L.A.R members gets his HEA next
The heroine thinks the heroine is trouble just because he's gorgeous. Why do female authors write that crap? Or the heroine will automatically call the hero a player because he's gorgeous. Stop being gross. And why didn't anyone ever tell people that if a woman sleeps with a married man that the MAN was the homewrecker. After this series, I'm done. This author has a template and sticks to it. Wishy washy heroine's that are self depreciating in their inner monologs. Once in a blue moon she'll throw in a hero trying to fight the bond because he doesn't feel good enough. This author basically just tweaks a few details to have a different storyline but refuses to go outside of the box and use other drama than "I'm hot good enough for forever" throw in the heroine's being irrationally angry about something dumb to cause drama. Been there done that, 30 freaking books.
The past defines Heidi, she’s haunted by a bad reputation she doesn’t deserve. When Alexei comes along, he’s ecstatic to realize Heidi is his mate; but first he has to get her to let her guard down…
Short and sassy, this is the third P.O.L.A.R. Bear shifter romance in the series, featuring the special ops. Bears. It’s an enjoyable piece of escapist fiction, set in a world where shifters are real, and fated mates are the norm for them. Plenty of romance, misunderstandings, and a few funny moments, this is an entertaining novella for those wanting a quick read. Recommended for those who enjoy paranormal romance.
This is my new favorite!! I loved Alexei and Heidi
Oh, Alexei, we both knew this was going to come back and bite you but the ride was fun while it lasted. Alexei meets his mate but she seems to run from him in human form but in polar bear form she can't stay away.
I love reading about Heidi opening up to this bear and telling him all her secrets not realizing that she was actually telling him about himself.
I loved watching Alexei be his fun and charming self.
Candace Ayers did an awesome job of making this book fun right from the start. I LOVE how Alexei and Heidi meet! Heidi is strong and fierce with a soft, vulnerable inside. Alexei is determined to show her that he will always have her back! If you want a quick sexy shifter read then this is a book you should have in your collection!
Heidi Garcia was in semi-hiding, her one and only infamous tv character from her budding actress days still wreaks havoc on her reality, keeping her alone and lonely. Fun-loving, sexy, Alexei’s drawn to the beauty that fishes alone each morning, bartends at night and babysits in between. Too bad, Heidi’s more comfortable than bear Alexei than human Alexei. Rating: 4stars
Alexi is definitely a cuddly bear. I love how sweet and cute and happy he is. I love how strong and independent Heidi is. I love their friends. I love how hard Alexi tries. The team is a family and I really like that. I will have to read the rest of the series, I look forward to seeing the team start having babies.
This is a very good, short, well written, Shifter/Human mate romance. The characters are interesting and lovable. Heidi had played a villain as an actress but many thought it was real. Alexei was the easy going, laid back member of the team. He met Heidi in his bear form. Read and learn how they overcame the misunderstandings from their early meetings.
This was a fun story about a misplaced polar bear and his mate. There is not really any danger or giant drama, and I really enjoyed the two main characters and their romantic journey!
Alexei finds his mate while he's a polar bear and cuddles her and makes her laugh . Thing is she accepts the polar bear as a friend but is weary of the man. Her past makes her weary of everyone. She's okay being alone until Alexei shows up.
This was sweet. A little weird but sweet all the same. Alexei finds his mate while hes a polar bear and begins to meet with her each day as a polar bear making her think the zoo keeps letting him escape. Its quite a cute meeting actually made me chuckle. I liked their romance and I liked them both.
Interesting struggle the female lead had to go through. Totally plausible, but at the same time, why didn't she use social media to tell her side. Meghan is so rude and such a hoot. We all need a friend like Meghan.
This book. Was extremely fun and it still Was short enough to go very quickly, so it's a good read.If you've got only a couple hours and you're the sort that can't put down the book.Once you've started it.
Alexa was just who she needed to see life is to,short. We are all looking for someone to love.W e all need someone to listen to even,if its just nonsense.
