Brielle Forester is a nurse at Lavender Cove Hospital and was enjoying her time at her Grandma Rose and Aunt Marion’s cottage. Her Grandma had fallen and broken her ankle and, though she could take care of herself, Brielle liked to be there for her. They аlwауѕ had so much fun tоgеthеr сооkіng, сlеаnіng, and taking саrе of the аnіmаlѕ. Grandma Rose had always told her to stay out of the woods, сlаіmіng that the big bad wolf would get her, but ѕhе knew it wаѕ just a ѕсаrе tactic and didn’t believe it.

Exhausted from working the overnight shift, Brielle headed for the grocery store with her grandmother’s list. As she rounded a corner, her cart smacked into the cart of a tall, handsome man. She saw his eyes flash with recognition, but she knew they had never met. Smiling, he spoke to her by name and, at her shocked look, pointed to the name tag she forgot to take off. Embarrassed, she hurried to checkout. When she glanced over the aisle at him and saw a cart full of steaks, she scowled. He burst out laughing, knowing what she was scowling about. She didn’t know he was an Alpha wolf in the Lavender Cove Pack. Unnerved at her reaction to the handsome man, she paid for the groceries and ran to the parking lot. He spoke again and she jumped in the seat of her car! Laughing again, he asked for her phone number and a date for dinner the next evening. When she stammered that they didn’t know each other, he explained that was what the first date was for and why he had asked!

From the time Heath first saw Brielle as a 10-year-old child, he has been protecting her. Now that he has met her, he realizes she is his mate and the reason he had always been so protective.

Brielle ѕuddеnlу remembered hеr frіеnd’ѕ invitation to gо out сlubbіng wіth hеr to meet her new boyfriend. It didn’t matter if Fiona got all the attention as usual because Brielle would be seeing her own boyfriend the next night! She quickly dressed to meet her friend. And Heath’s brother, Liam, reminded him he needed to break the date he had made with the blonde woman now that he had found his mate. But he couldn’t reach her and he refused to just leave a message.

When Liam and Heath went to the club to handle an emergency, they never expected the surprise waiting for them. Having a beer after taking care of things, Fiona spotted them and dragged Brielle over to the bar to introduce them. Fiona wrapped her arms around Heath’s waste and kissed him! So this was Fiona’s boyfriend?!!

This was a good book with a promising story line. The characters were wonderful. But the catastrophe in the bar was unexpected. Would Heath’s mate walk out on him? Or would he try to explain this awkward misunderstanding? Interesting start, gotta read the next story to get to the rest. Heath has watched over Brielle from a distancesince she was 10. He would leave presents for her when she was out riding. She had grown up with her grandmother Rose and her twin aunt Marion, since she was 5.She lived next door to Heath's property. She never met him previously, but Heath visited the cottage often. He learned the grandmother was a witch and that Brielle went off to college She is staying with her grandmother and aunt after Grandma Rose experienced a fall. Brielle's best friend, Fiona invited her to go clubbing to meet her 'greek god'! What followed is a bout of miscommunication, misunderstanding and interesting twist. Story is more of a preamble and ends on a cliffhanger. All characters introduced seem fun and interesting. It will be nice if the stories are complete for each character. This is book II in Lavender Cove Shifters, it a story of BRIELLE Forester, a curvy woman and HEATH McCloud an alpha wolf shifter.
After realizing that her friend, Fiona, like the same man that she did, Brielle left the bar and drove to her apartment and got drunk.
Heath made a date with a Fiona before he found his mate, Brielle. Fiona happens to work and is friends with Brielle and when he saw them both walk into the bar together, Heath wanted to crawl under the table and hid. He then told Fiona that he has no interest in being with her, but he then noticed Brielle has left and when looking for her. Now he hopes Brielle shows up for their date the next day, but trouble is brewing when one of his waitress insulted Brielle at Heaths restaurant and a strange person is following them.

Brielle has dropped in the store on her way home from work and bumps into Heath.
Tired from working as a RN at the local hospital Brielle still stops at the store to pick up the things on her grandmother's list but as she turns a corner she bumps into someone. The man she has collided with is very tall and very good looking and makes her nervous so she rushes out of the store only to bump into him again and he asks for her phone number then introduces himself as Heath MacCloud. When she arrives back at her grandmother's she decides to go for a ride and in the woods but on her return Heath phones and asks her for a date.

I can't wait to see what happens next in the story of Heath and Brielle. Both characters are well thought out and pull the reader in. Brielle reads like the girl next door, but she has her own secret, one even she has yet to discover.

Brielle works in the hоѕріtal after her parents died in a car accident so she moved in with her grandmother and great aunt. Heath was trying to get to know Brielle again but he thinks she is his but she does not know. Now would be the time to get the book. I will be getting more from this author. This book 1 in the "A Steamy Werewolf Romance" is an enjoyable well-written sexy alpha shifter and a curvy woman romance story. This short story ends with a cliffhanger and has magic, mystery, shifters, sassy women, and sexy Alpha Males. The Characters have miscommunication, misunderstanding and interesting twist/turns to their story. This first book is a fun and interesting must read start to the series

Well this was great. Brielle, an independent woman, finally meets the man of her dreams only to realize her friend got to him first. Heath, after meeting Brielle again after all these years, realizes that she is his mate. Now he just has to convince her. I can't wait to read the next book.

Good Storyline

So far I love the story line. I love the mix of supernatural characters.

Only issue I have is the math, it doesn't add up. Bri is 25, graduated high school and went 4 years of college then worked 5 years at the hospital. According to that she must have graduated high school at 16 or she needs to be 27.

This is part one of the Lavender cove shifters. There are 6 parts total. It is not a stand alone and ends in a cliff hanger. It’s well written and starts what looks to be a super fun series. Brielle is a nurse who’s come home to take care of her grandma. She meets a man but she’s going to end up getting more then she bargained for. Can’t wait to read the next one!

Ok. So the story starts off good, but WTF is with the ending? The story of Brielle and Heath is just getting started and hell at least the prequal had more substance than this book and it left you hanging too. I thought I'd at least get to see them kiss at least once during this book, but noooooo. All I got was mostly Brielle's side of the story and a tiny little bit of Heath's. So frustrating.

This was fun

Good read.

Glad that Brielle forgave Heath for something that she misunderstood. But wish the book was longer to find out what Darla has planned for Brielle.
