Welcome to world of dreams and nightmares, where a furious spirit turns the tables on a greedy ghost hunter. And a loving couple’s home renovations awaken a sinister presence. Your journey into terror has begun…
Scare Street is proud to present the best in bone-chilling supernatural horror. This volume contains two macabre morsels for your reading pleasure. Each tale transports you on a terrifying journey beyond the veil of death, and into the shadowy world that lies beyond.
But as you embark on your trip to the other side, remember not to linger too long. Because once evil traps you in its icy grasp, it may never let go.
And your stay might become a bit more permanent than you expected…
This book has only two stories instead of the usual three from this series.
The first: Mirror, Mirror.
A respectable ghost researcher has a secret side job, which is very profitable. However, his “partners” are not so pleased with their arrangement.
The second: The Post.
Joseph and Katie are expecting their first child. Being pregnant has caused some strange obsessions in Katie. One day she fixates on the old, dilapidated gazebo in their back yard. She becomes determined to have it knocked down!
Although There is a feeling of confusion during the ending, with Katie’s parents, this story is by far my favorite. It has a fascinating historical connection.
Two more excellent additions to the Scare Street collection of scaries. Ron Ripley spins a tale of a man who collects mirrors with nasty residents. They are all ghosts and they all love to kill, but can only do so when the mirror's owner calls them forth. The guy gets a request to finish off an elderly woman with dementia at the request of her son. What could possibly go wrong? The second story is from the always talented David Longhorn. A young couple move from crowded London to a country cottage. All is well at first until they decide to tear down an old shed that is an eyesore. The shed was built around an ancient post that hides a horrible secret - and proves that things should not always be disturbed. As with the earlier five volumes, this is a very quick read but stays with you long after you reach the end. If you like good frights, give this series a try. You will not be disappointed.
I so enjoy these periodic collections from Team Scare Street. Vol. 6 features two of my favourite Scare Street authors.
"Mirrors" by Ron Ripley revolves on one of the best reasons to keep Mirrors covered; and ponders whom is scarier--the dead or the living? Then author Ripley delivers a delicious helping of Poetic Justice.
"The Post" by David Longhorn is true English rural folk horror. When you're all alone in your isolated country home and you start hearing voices ordering you: Watch out! Before it's too late!!
Two will written fantasy world 🌎 horrors hauntings ghosts 👻 monsters demons(Supernatural Suspense Collection) by two authors. Each story is different with interesting characters, story line, and action with misdirection leading to each conclusion. This novella is very complicated and I would recommend this novella to readers looking for a quick haunting horror read. Enjoy the adventure of reading or listening. 2022 👑😃🏠
I'm really loving this series of books each author writes such eerie stories. Each storie will have you biting on your nails a d a chill that runs from the top of your head to your feet. You can't ask for better than that. If bone chilling horror is what you like then look no further then this book.
They both were soooooooo good. I knew in the second story that the husband would die, but I never expected the ending I got! I was disappointed that there were only two stories though. I am afraid that the series may be ending :(
