I love Foster the wolf pup! He is so adorable. The love and protectiveness within the pack with close friends is endearing. This is a well written shifter novel with humor and page-turning drama. AND Vixen Rocks!

A momma bear will protect her cub, unconditionally! Eleanor got the surprise of her life as she was working on research for her Master's on folklore at Uni Of Missouri. Her advisor shows up, gathers books including a research journal, and gets her and her son, Foster out of town. Her sister, who let Eli adopt Foster, gives her the father's name, Jackson after Eli pays her $200. Foster changed into a wolf when he was barely 6 months old. For four years, Eli has been keeping the secret and keeping Foster safe. She had him in child care while she was working on her Masters. She didn't know of the were world, but she knew her son was a wolf. A call from the school, changed her plans. Luckily, a school official, Sara protected Foster when he wolfed out and let Eli see that she was a shifter as well. Eli wgrateful and understood there were others. She met Vixen, Bard and the gang and while wary, trusted Vixen. The world is still dangerous. Vixen is still a target, now so is Foster's. Does Jackson step up? How does the pack handle a human? How does the pack handle intruders? Fantastic story. Excellent addition to the series. The characters are solid and well described. You can feel the friendship in the pack. Well done! This story revolves around Eleanor and her four year old, adopted wolf shifter son. When Foster shifts at school and it is witnessed by other pupils, Wayne comes into Eleanor's life to help her. He understands about shifters and the need to keep them secret and arranges for her to disappear into the world of shifters via the help of the Broken Peak pack. Once there, Foster can shift and learn how to control his wolf through the guidance of the other wolves. One in particular, Jackson, is the spitting image of the child and also shares the same name that Eleanor was given to her as the father of her son. Eleanor, Jackson and Foster grow closer as a family and Jackson knows that Eleanor is his mate. He just has to convince Eleanor and the pack have to keep Foster safe. This is a good story and the characters are interesting. A lot of doors are opened for future stories, but this one still ends with a HEA. A good read :-)

Eleanor has a secret her son is a wolf shifter. She tries to keep him at home when she knows he is going to shift however sometimes its not predictable. So when her professor comes to get her to collect her son she starts worrying. Her son shifted in daycare and now they have to run. They end up with some friends of her professor in a surprising coincidence she ends up going where the father of her son is living. Jackson is stunned when he sees his son for the first time but he has no memory of Eleanor. Not surprising since it was her sister he was with. Things heat between them and soon its like they are a family finally. That is until someone from the government decides to come after their son. Will Jackson be able to protect them? Can they still live there safely?

This is a great story that once I started it I couldn't put it down. The chemistry between them is blazing hot. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend this book to any book lover.

Eleanor had adopted her nephew when he was a baby - her sister didnt want him - and Eleanor didnt know about Foster's secret. When he turned into a wolf cub, she knew she had to keep it a secret - and she did, until he was nearly 4, and there was an incident at his day care. Taking him to safety led to her meeting his father Jackson - and finding that they were mates. But the government had heard about him and wanted him - would Vixen and Bray's pack be able to keep them safe/ What would happen when they came for her son? Would Jackson be able to rescue her, and make sure that Foster was safe too? I love Jule's work! I thoroughly enjoyed Vixen and Bray's story when I read it, and this one doesnt disappoint either!

I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review. Eleanor was going to college for her degree but her sister had other plains for her because she had a baby(Foster). Eleanor has been taking care of your sister's baby(Foster) but she never told her sister about the father. Eleanor has keep Foster safe from the start and still when to her classes. Foster is 3 3/4 years old but he maybe older then he looks. Eleanor had to move in the middle of the day because of Foster showing his wolf at daycare in front of his classmates and teacher. Now would be the best time to get the book. I will being more books from this author. Thank You for writing the books so we can read them.

This was a fun and entertaining paranormal romance. This novel contained an interesting twist on the secret baby trope, which I found very enjoyable. The hero of this romance novel was a total sweetheart, and the heroine was a wonderful woman I would like to be friends with. There was suspense and a little adventure in this novel, and their little boy was adorable. I would recommend reading this novel at the end of a rotten day as a pick me up. It was sweet, heartwarming, and contained some suspense elements that insured this reader was not bored. It gave me the warm fuzzies, and it contained some much beloved romance tropes. Reading this was a great treat after a hard day.

This is the second book in the series and focuses on El and Jackson. El has adopted her sister's child, Foster, at birth and is now a four year old wolf shifter. She is human and gets a crash course about shifters when Foster started shifting and is trying to keep this fact a secret while trying to raise him.

He has an incident at daycare and with the help of shifters living in secret around them are sent on their way to a remote location where Foster will be protected and able to learn how to be a wolf.

It just so happens that Jackson lives in the new area and is Foster's father. It is a sweet and slow read which can be enjoyable.

This is another wonderful book in the Broken Peak Series. You are reintroduced to some favorite characters and new characters make their way into the story. You do not have to have read the previous books in order to follow along with the story as it is a complete story in itself which also contributes to the over all story of the series. Cassie and Tev have a one night stand and a surprise ensues from there. There is danger, a witchy granmother, a vampire and the usual cast of Broken Peak characters. I love the characters in this book. They are full of hope and always back each other up. The story is interesting as well as easy to read. I enjoyed the book and would highly recommend it.

The author has given us characters that pull at our heart strings. Eleanor has a son, Foster, that starts shifting into a wolf and she tries to keep it secret. When he shifts in public, friends take over and get her away from everyone and everything she knows. When she reaches her destination, she meets Jackson who is actually the father of Foster. When their lives are threatened, the pack needs to protect them.

I enjoyed this story of a human adopting a little boy her sister didn't want. Then a few months later he shifts into a wolf.
Ad she tries to raise him in a human world and keep it a secret, yeah right.
Then she relocates to keep him safe and meets his shifter father and has to learn to live in a shifter world and keep him safe.
Read it you will be glad you did, I will be looking for more by Jules Crisare.

This was a wonderful read. Eleanor was such a great heroine and a strong mom that'll do anything for her son. I loved seeing how Jackson goes through the changes of playing around, to Alpha, to Mate and Father once his mate and family is threatened. I found this to be highly enjoyable.

Nicely done story of a human who adopts a baby shifter and has to run to seek help for them against forces of evil(?). You get the impression that the bad guys here are some level of government agent but their lives are so short that you do not get the entire story.

Not bad and yes, they do get their HEA.
