Odile Rose was born in Paris, France, to Lebanese parents who raised her alongside her beloved grandmother, Rose. Her family moved to Canada in her childhood years, starting in Quebec, as French is their second language. British Columbia then became her home before she eventually settled in Ontario.
She grew up with three brothers and is now a mother of two beautiful boys. She's always had a passion for writing and knew in her heart that it was the path she wanted to follow. She initially found herself starting a career in the financial industry, where she remained for nearly two decades.
It wasn't until one blessed day, with some encouragement and the right kind of inspiration, that she finally decided to take a deep breath, make that leap of faith, and begin her writing journey.
I thought I would get some sleep on a recent flight from Phoenix to Miami, but I started this book and just couldn’t put it down until I’d reached the last page. The pacing is exciting and addictive. There’s not a moment to catch your breath or lose interest. I just wish this was a series because you just can’t help but want more from this author. Odile Rose is now one of my absolute favorites. So many gems of wisdom woven into a truly stunning story about trauma, healing, and soulmate love.
I really enjoyed this book. Elvis is a rich guy who discovers something terrible one night after a graduation party. It changes him. A few years later he meets Scarlette in a college classroom. He has always been a player but there is something different about Scarlette and he finds himself falling in love for the first time. But there is something she is hiding. He feels he must find out what it is. An easy read and even though it is a bit predictable, I really liked it.
One night changes everything for a teenager. He did not know that one night partying would lead him to meet the love of his life.
She literally falls into his arms literally as they meet during a fight. They will end up facing obstacles along the way even death. Love is never simple nor is it so dramatic. Was alright read.
How can you tell who is your one and only? Would you recognize your one and only the first time you meet? If you tried to save someone by taking them to the hospital, would you need to know if they survived? These are some of the questions raised and answered by our protagonist in The One Reason.
