Bad Boy's Bridesmaid

Rate this book
The baby wasn’t on the guest list…But at least the invitation said +1?

Nate Kensington was trouble. One night with him and this good girl bridesmaid became a Maid of Dishonor. He'd promised no strings and no regrets… but what happens when once isn’t enough?

Falling for a sworn bachelor complicates everything, especially when this groomsman is the life of the wedding party. With two months until the big day, my family is a one spoiled shrimp-ring from total meltdown. The bridezilla might kill the groom, my divorcing parents are constantly fighting, and the wedding invitations were mistakenly printed on indigo paper…

…The same color as the positive line on my secret pregnancy test.

To get everyone to the church on time, I have to keep the baby a secret until after the wedding. But the bad boy daddy-to-be won’t stop chasing me, and I can’t risk my heart on a playboy who’s only after one thing.

I’m already in over my head.

I can’t go in over my heels too.

Bad Boy’s Bridesmaid is a standalone romantic comedy with no cheating and a guaranteed happily-ever-after. This fun and flirty book also includes two full-length bonus novels—Bad Boy’s Baby and Bad Boy’s Revenge. Each book is about 70,000 words or 350 paperback pages. I hope you enjoy!

Not for safety group.

So I read these books (Bad Boy's Baby, Revenge and Bridesmaid) for research purposes. Only one out of the 3 were safe. That's Revenge.
The other two were safe once the hero and heroine hook up. Before they are intimate they knew each other.
In this story these two grew up knowing each other. Mandy always didn't really like Nate because of his manwhore ways. Nate saw Mandy as a cute possible conquest. That changes was that Mandy decides to use Nate for one night and he's hooked and falls hard. After he touches her he's faithful not even wanting anyone else. Unfortunately too many of his ex hookups show up because they know her sister the bride. He's kinda disgusted with himself about his past when it hurts Mandy. He really is a good guy and I enjoyed him chasing her and falling hard. Lots of drama from her sister and family. I had to skim over a lot if their stupid petty selfish drama and didn't like that Mandy was such a pushover.

3 semi safe stars.

I read the blurb and the reviews and this book jumped straight to the top of my to-read list, since the blurb is good and there's already plenty of reviews it seems a little redundant to do my usual summary so I'll just give my opinion.
Unfortunately I didn't enjoy this book as much as most people, I tried, I tried to see the humour and the craziness I really did and I know it was there and I understand other readers enjoying it but I was so annoyed that Mandy was such a doormat that she just took everything that was thrown her way and there was a lot of it that this spoilt my enjoyment of this book.
Her mother and sister Lindsey (bridezilla) were just awful, I really disliked the pair of them and their treatment of Mandy was simply dreadful, especially the mother and I felt for most of the book that Lindsey would be lucky to actually get Bryce down the aisle.
Nate on the other hand was fabulous along with Bryce and Rick, I liked the developing story between Nate and Mandy but again annoyed how long it took her to actually tell him the truth.
This a well written book with some interesting and quirky characters and I really wish I could have liked it more.

Bad Boy's Baby

When I downloaded 'Bad Boy's Bridesmaid' it came with two free reads 'Bad Boy's Baby' and 'Bad Boy's Revenge' after finishing 'Bridesmaid' I just continued on to 'Baby' and I have to say the start of this book was bad, so bad in fact I was reading it with my jaw literally dropped open but I couldn't put it down.
It's hard to even give one example since there were so many but the book opens with these lines:
'A party wasn’t a party unless I had two women begging to take me home.
And the fun only started when I agreed to f*** both of them.'
Jack is a professional quarterback, he's a conceited arrogant a**hole who has too much money and fame and the first part of the book makes incredibly difficult reading but I continued on and I'm not sure why I mean it's not as if I don't have a huge list of books to be read but I think I just couldn't believe how bad this/Jack was so I stuck with it and while it's a totally predictable read I ended up quite enjoying it.
Jack has been been in trouble one too many times and his publicist Leah can only do so much Jack's image needs to change, he needs a girlfriend and who better than Leah.

"Lindsey chose her college friends as her bridesmaids—Carmen, Peaches, Caitlyn, Amy, and…red head. I didn’t remember her name. That was a problem, especially since I had slept with her five months ago.

Well, I slept with most of the bridal party over the past few months. It hadn’t been a major concern before—they all knew it was just one night of fun. But what was amusing before suddenly became dangerous. The bridesmaids wiggled, shimmied, teased, and baited me with every shake of their tits or twerk of their asses.

And Mandy noticed.

Not sure if I should have worried about that. "

“Mandy, if I knew sleeping with those girls would have made you feel like this—”

“You slept with everyone?” Mandy whispered. “Are you that…sleezy?”

Yes Mandy he is in fact that sleazy and yes you're the pathetic little virgin he gets (eye roll).

So, after reading a friend's review I took a chance on this one. Big mistake. Nate was revolting.

My challenge read failed completely. This author is a fail for me.

I was really hoping that Mandy would read everyone the riot act in spectacular fashion. There is only so many times someone should be disrespected by toxic family members like her mother and sister, wedding or no wedding. But, the big reveal lacked some luster. Mandy put everyone else and their feelings above her and the baby's health, which can not be healthy for any individual. Not to mention Nate, and him leading with his dick disguised as helping Mandy. He didn't care about where she may have wanted their relationship to go, or if she was concerned, just as long as she kept giving it up. But he eventually gets it together, but by then I was tired of him. And there isn't anything on this earth more annoying than a man who doesn't listen. Mandy had to have been a saint. Also, is it a requirement for every book that the characters can't be within the same age range, or almost a decade apart?

Mandy was the ultimate good girl. Doing what everyone asked of her even when she would rather be at home, curled up watching TV or out doing someone she liked. Instead she had to handle everything for her sister who was getting married-all because she was the bridesmaid. As the bridesmaid, she got to meet all the groomsmen—and out of all of them, one stood out--Nate Kensington. As they got to know each other , the chemistry built and built all the while her family is falling apart- her mom and dad are about to get a divorce , her sister is acting like bridezilla—and Nate wants to keep their affair on the downlow. She and Nate have a history together --all she expected was a no strings affair then she ends up pregnant and the baby daddy is wanting to do a run. Poor Mandy is one step away from a break down.
Nate is such a bad boy- and that’s putting it mildly. He loves women and he has variety. He is attending his best friend’s wedding and provide assistance with the wedding. Seeing Mandy and being around her, there is this attraction , this potent chemistry that continues to build. They end up sleeping together and it all tumbles down hill from there. He cant stop her, they cant stop their being together.
Mandy ends up pregnant and doesn’t , at first, tell Nate, because she is afraid he will put away from her. There are a lot of twists and turns of the emotional kind in this story that will pull on your heartstrings. Oh and the crazy mom and sister moments. Mandy is such a sweet girl who I felt didn’t deserve the heaps of bad stuff loaded on her, including Nate when he did what he did. Nate is definitely a good guy who overreacted to things and he shouldn’t have treated Mandy so bad. Does he fix his mistake and go back to the woman he loves? Does everything get fixed? Oh Spoilers {smile} You have to read to find out You will love this story- it has action, romance, humor, the emotional oomph that you need to keep you hooked until the every end.

My rating: 4.5 stars ****

I'm addicted to this author's writing style because it is lively, witty and hilarious.

This hot, interracial romance mingles two opposites with incompatible philosophies in life. Mandy craves romance and a future with kids, yet Nate is all about fun with no strings attached.

The funny thing is that the story begins when the deed is already done. They've shared a night of passion and a secret baby is torturing poor Many while she tries to deal with the demented preparations of her sister's wedding.

Besides the creative prose and the crazy wedding, I really loved how Many wanted to keep faith in love despite so many insecurities gnawing at her. And I loved that despite his player ways, Nate cared for her and was in hot pursuit to give her as much pleasure as she deserved.

This story is heavy on family antics and drama, and their influence splashes on the two characters, giving them depth. There are some very sensual and emotional steamy times, yet all the fun is balanced with a pursuit of happiness and the meaning of love.

I really liked that both Nate and Many have their feats about the future, but love changes what people think they would do on certain situations, so they act on that and find their own happiness despite all the obstacles.

Such a fun, sexy romance, and I'm head over heels in love with the author's ideas and writing style, so I highly recommend this book.

Keep it up, you artist! Soooo excited about her next book, that peek at the end of this one almost gave me a heart attack!

I received an ARC for an honest review of Bad Boy’s Bridesmaid – A Secret Baby Romance by Sosie Frost

I really enjoyed Bad Boy’s Bridesmaid: A Secret Baby Romance, the story was entertaining, somewhat realistic in describing the real struggle of relationships and how brides can often behave or rather MISBEHAVE before a wedding. The private moments that Nate and Mandy shared were raw and made you feel, regardless if it was stealing a touch in the kitchen or an intimate moment on the dock, these two fell for each other. If only Mandy can let go and have faith in this changed playboy.

I received this as an ARC in exchange for an honest review. This book had humor, lots of drama, dysfunctional family dynamics, romance, heartbreak, and finally a HEA. I loved Nate's pursuit of Mandy and I think Mandy should be up for sainthood because of the way her Mom and her Bridezilla sister treated her. I wanted to slap them both lots of times during the story. This was a good read and I enjoyed it.

I’m a big fan of Sosie Frost but I really didn’t like this book. To be honest I don’t know why I finished it. The main character was so weak she annoyed me and her family were absolute assholes. Way too many jerk characters in this book and no repercussions for their shitty behaviour.

Mandy had the patience and love of Job!

I would have told my sister to go and suck rotten eggs. Amanda Prescott's love of family and her sister Lindsey had to be strong to deal with them. Her mother Sandy, was always critical of her and obviously had a preference for the sister. And Bryce, Lindsey's fiance must have really loved her because she was a total bridezilla in the worst way. Poor Mandy went out of her way to do everything she could to make sure her sister's wedding was perfect like she wanted it to be, including keeping her pregnancy a secret until after the wedding to keep from adding more stress to the family.

Mandy used her pregnancy to keep from dealing with the fear she had of the unknown. The unknown of how Nathan Kensington, the town's playboy, would react to the news, let alone her family. Both he and Mandy came from families that were less than perfect and both were hesitant about having a committed relationship because of that. Nate had to reconcile himself that after he and Mandy had their first encounter, he was hooked and no other woman was enough for him. He was ready to give up his lifestyle of one nighters because she was the love of his life. He did not want to lose her for anything or to anyone.

Sosie wrote a cute and entertaining sexy story about two people who had a longtime attraction for each other and find themselves hopelessly in love with each other but afraid to openly admit it until they could no longer hide it. This story was well plotted and written very realistically. The bachelorette party was off the chain and so very funny. We got a chance to see another side of sister Lindsey. We see mother Sandy get her needs met as well, with no apologies. We also see how a family can heal and reconcile some differences and come back together. In the end Mandy and Nate get their HEA and no longer hide their affair.

Wedding Party from Hell

Mandy’s sister makes Godzilla look tame and her mother is insufferable. Mandy is the wedding planner and whipping boy. They kinda apologized in the end but it was toooooo little.

Mandy slept with long time friend, Nate. Nate is also a groomsman and has slept with every female in the wedding party with the exception of the bride to be. I know the title says bad boy...but there is a thin line between bad boy and all out whore. From their first sexual encounter, Mandy is pregnant and agonized over how to tell Nate. Everyone in the story was in each other’s business...the best man, groom and Nate were friends...even the strippers were former classmates...or in Nate’s case, former lover. I liked the two main characters, Mandy’s dad and Rick....the rest of the people were so annoying and the book seemed to move along in real time...I feel like I have been reading it for 3 weeks. I like this author’s story telling so I gave it 4 stars....wish we could do half and make it 3.5.....

I only read Bad Boy's Bridesmaid, so I don't know if I missed some pieces of the puzzle. The book begins rather quickly, reflecting the chaos that is Mandy's life. She's panicking about being pregnant while stressing about her sister's wedding where everything is just seemingly going wrong at every turn. Nate was just supposed to be a one-night stand, but the baby complicates her one-and-done plan.

I liked the banter between Nate and Mandy. I found the drama in the book to be a bit much, and a lot on the petty side. I hated how easily Mandy accepted blame, then was so quick to offer forgiveness. Her sister and mom were outright horrible to her, and she kept acting as though it were her fault. That kept me from properly enjoying the book.

Not sure if I'd read the others in the series.

This was a quick and fun read. Nor my usual romance, a bit too much family drama and that bridezilla... But I had a hard time putting it down and a good time with all the turns the story took. I'm missing a bit of depth to the characters, but nevertheless an enjoyable read :)

You know I went into the book thinking it was going to be great but Nooo i waisted and hour of my life that i cant get back.

First our heroine was so weak sis had no backbone sis was letting her whole family walk over her like what

Second she needed to cut her sister off that ending wasn’t it I wasn’t please like how are you still going to be buddy buddy with your sis after everything she did to u????

All the hero cared about was sex like where is the plot in that. How are you gonna have unprotected sex with a men knowing that he slept with all her sisters brides maid

I really wanted to like this book i wish i never picked this thing. This has to be the worst book ive read alll year and thats saying something

I would never everrrr pick up another book from this author. Im not gonna do that to my self.

I really enjoyed this read! This was a new author to me, but she came highly recommended from a favorite author of mine, so I gave her a try. This was a cute, quick read. This is the story of Mandy and Nate. Mandy is the Maid of Honor of her sister's wedding. She is also "newly" pregnant. It is very much not planned and she is in no way able to handle it. She is pretty over-whelmed with everything "wedding". She is in charge of pretty much everything involving the wedding, leaving very little time for herself, let alone time to deal with this new development. She also needs to figure out a way to inform the father, who happens to be a man-whoring, one night stand, friend of the family, Nate. Nate is everything you expect a man-whore to be. He has wanted to get Mandy on her back for as long as he could remember. He thought one night would be enough to curb his want for her, but he found out was one night just wasn't going to be enough. I don't think it gets much more complicated than that! With everything going on, she decides to keep this new development to herself until after the wedding. I loved the banter between Nate and Mandy. Nate was all hot, out-of-reach, bad boy, whispering dirty, naughty things into her ear, and Mandy was sweet, timid, family girl-next-door who is having a crisis of conscious. One minute she is hot for Nate, the next minute is pushing him away to protect her heart and her baby. Also, she loves her family. A little too much though. That was the only fault I found with her. I completely hated the way her mother and sister treated her. I hated the way they spoke to her, bullied her, walked all over her, and I hated more that she let them and kept making excuses for their behavior. And not once did anyone stand up for her! Not Nate, not her dad, not a friend, no one! It really turned me off. I couldn't possibly see a way either one of them could redeem their selves, but of course everything gets wrapped up into a pretty bow by the end. Regardless, I did end up enjoying this book and look forward to reading more from this author!

I received this for a honest review. Sosie Frost did a wonderful job.

I actually felt sorry for Mandy. Here she was dealing with her sister being a Bridzella, coping with being pregnant by a one night stand, and dealing with her parents separation. She was truly juggling a lot.

Nate was a guy that was know for sleeping around. He did not do relationships. So him and Mandy were just suppose to be a one night thing. So why was Nate having a hard time getting Mandy out of his system.

Lindsey Mandy’s sister was a real piece of work. She was a nightmare of a bride. She thought everything should go her way and when it didn’t she blamed Mandy, it did not matter if it was Mandy’s fault or not. I so would not of put up with the things Mandy put up with. I am glad Nate was there to help save her a few times.

I found Mandy’s mother a real piece of work. It was plain to see who her favorite daughter was, Mandy just seem to never be good enough for her. Either her mother found she was to fat, not pretty enough, or letting the world mess up her sister’s wedding. Yip Lindsey was not the only one that plan things on Mandy.

I like Mandy’s dad he seemed to truly care bout Mandy. He wanted what was best for her. He wanted her to be happy and was there when Mandy needed him the most. I thought it was great that she had one parent that truly cared for her.

Mandy is having a hard time getting the guts to tell Nate he is going to be a father. Though it is the right thing to do she does not want to destroy Nate’s dreams. Nate and Mandy are having to come to terms with feelings that are rising. Nate seems to be there when she needs him. One thing after another seems to going wrong with the wedding. You almost have to laugh.
