This book made its vantage point pretty straightforward from the get go - ISRO.
And it talks about history, incidents, politics, policies, about the hands that were involved. From the people who stood vigilant, who took the sidelines, and to the girl perched on her brother's icecream cart who stood audience while ISRO was conceived, executed, and developed. And then some...

There's been too many hours of reading and picking out details involved. Without doubts. Which is honestly commendable and it shows. Quite obviously and interestingly, if I might add.

There's hinting on WWI, and WWII. About the history and world leaders before and after. About the world as we know it now and before. It's huge, and is really awe inspiring to see someone condense so much into meagre 200 some pages.

The author has tried to drag his reader through years of cutthroat history, controversial theories, treaties, behind the screen stories, mystery deaths and all these with a pinch of humor, colloquial references, carefully chosen words that pins the narrative firm but not too strong so to land the blow just as affirmative.
And he has done it all taking no sides, almost neutrally, quoting whatever knowledge that was sponged on by him.

Good job, really! Worth a read.

உளவியல் போர்: ஹிட்லரை விட அதிகமானவர்களை கொன்று குவித்த அமெரிக்காவை ஜெர்மனியை குற்றம் சொல்வதை போல் யாரும் சொல்வதில்லை. அமெரிக்கர்களும் ஜெர்மனியர்களை போல் கூனி குறுகி நின்றதாக தெரியவில்லை. அதே போல் இந்தியாவில் தமிழர்களை வெறுப்பது போல் இந்திரா காந்தியை கொன்ற பஞ்சாபியர்களை வெறுப்பதில்லை. தமிழர்களை போல் குற்றம் சாட்டப்படவில்லை.

ஒரு நாட்டின் பிரதமர் இன்னொரு நாட்டில் சந்தேகப்படும்படி இறந்திருந்தால் எந்த நாடும் இந்தியா போல் சும்மா இருந்திருக்குமா? சில விடயங்கள் முன்னமே தெரிந்திருந்தாலும் படிக்க சுவாரசியமாகவும், விறுவிறுப்பாகவும் இருந்தது. அப்துல் கலாம் ஐயா அவர்களின் அக்னி சிறகுகள் படிக்கத் தூண்டியுள்ளது இப்புத்தகம்.

"அந்நியக் குளிர்பானம் தவிர்த்து ஆனியன் கூழ் குடி மானிடா எனத் தெரு நாய் ஏதும் பேசினால் பதற வேண்டாம்" - தவிர்த்திருக்கலாம்

இந்திய விண்வெளித் துறையின் வரலாற்றையும், வளர்ச்சியையும், சாதனைகளையும் விவரிக்கும் இந்த சிறிய புத்தகத்தில் பிரபஞ்சம் தோன்றிய விதம், அனு வரலாறு, அறிவியல் வரலாறு, போன்றவற்றை உலக அரசியல் வரலாற்று நோக்குடன் மிகவும் சுவாரசியமான நடையில் எளிமையாக எழுதியுள்ளார் நூலாசிரியர். பல்வேறு விஷயங்களைப் பற்றிய பருந்துப் பார்வை கிடைக்க இந்நூல் மிகவும் உதவும்.

Madness

This is utter madness. I never believed I would read a non fiction continously for more than 4 hours. I ve heard about the expression " sitting on the edge of the seat", but experienced the same while reading this. A fantastic narration of the passage of ISRO starting its travel from a bicycle. More thrilling than a thriller.

This book talk about not only ISRO overall scientific development

The book starting with atom second World war Hitler cold war between USA and Russia in between it is touching on how ISRO developed. Hardly 25 percentage of the content related to ISRO balance are general story happened worldwide. Worth to read to get a feel of how scientific development in last century

One of the best books I have read... Very few non fiction books are so engaging like Engal Kanaa... A brilliant debut by writer Hariharasuthan... A nail biting experience and goose bump moments... felt like watching Hollywood movie... Great work Hari👍👍👍👍
