"Lies and more lies, Craig. You've told so many, you don't know the difference from the truth." Craig Jackson, stood accused as wife, Casey, learns of his dark secret. Plague by the consequences of a one night fall, like an addict, the bottle called to Craig. His constant lies and MIA all night only added to the mounting tension in his marriage. Like a pot boiling over, Craig does the unforgivable by raising his fist to his beloved Casey. He saw all too much of this as brutality had been a means to an end for his alcoholic father. Despite it all, Casey loved her husband and wanted to stay true to her vows, but Craig's demons have driven her to a crossroad. Does she uphold the sanctity of her marriage or seek refuge and comfort in the warmth of Enrique's smile, a co-worker that she has managed to become quite close to. She may come closer to running into the arms of Enrique, as one fateful night, Craig's thoughtless and callous actions lead Casey and him down a road of hopelessness and despair. One thing Casey realize, she must hold her head high, walk tall, find her inner peace, strength, and love. Take a ride with deep plunges, compelling twists and turns that will move you from laughter to tears. Filled with lies, secrets on top of secrets, and love, Indiscretions will make you ask... "Can the depth of their love keep Casey and Craig together?"

Everyone thought they married too soon but Casey disagreed with them all. Despite knowing and dating Craig for only ten months, she knew he was the one. What she didn't know was that Craig had a secret, a secret that could single-handedly destroy their marriage. Secrets are revealed. Trust is broken. Love is betrayed.

"Indiscretions" is told from the alternating viewpoint of main characters Casey and Craig beginning with their wedding day and chronicles the turmoil of their relationship. Though I applaud the author's effort, "Indiscretions" didn't quite hit the mark. Readers were given some insight into the characters' pasts, yet it still didn't explain for me their actions. Eventually, the voices of Enrique and Sheila are intermingled. It's a decision I question, as I felt neither character possessed enough development to have a chapter or two devoted to them. The timeline and progression of the story and relationships that lie within were hard to follow. In this reader's opinion, Yolanda Hooks Buick is in need of an editor to focus her writing. Again, I applaud the author's effort. With room for improvement, I am looking forward to more from her in the future.
