58 books120 followersতাঁর জন্ম এবং বড় হওয়া হুগলি জেলার উত্তরপাড়ায়। কলকাতা বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় থেকে ইংরাজি সাহিত্যে স্নাতকোত্তর উপাধি অর্জনের পরে তিনি রাজ্য সরকারের অধীনে আধিকারিক হিসেবে কর্মরত ছিলেন। দীর্ঘ দুই-দশকের লেখক-জীবনে তিনি প্রাপ্তবয়স্ক এবং কিশোর-সাহিত্য, উভয় ধারাতেই জনপ্রিয়তা অর্জন করেছেন। প্রাপ্তবয়স্কদের জন্য তিনি যখন গল্প-উপন্যাস লেখেন, তখন ঘটনার বিবরণের চেয়ে বেশি প্রাধান্য দেন মানব-মনের আলোছায়াকে তুলে আনার বিষয়ে। লেখকের প্রকাশিত গ্রন্থের সংখ্যা পঞ্চাশের কাছাকাছি। তাঁর বহু কাহিনি রেডিও-স্টোরি হিসেবে সামাজিক মাধ্যমে সমাদর পেয়েছে। সাহিত্যে সামগ্রিক অবদানের জন্য তিনি পেয়েছেন দীনেশচন্দ্র স্মৃতি পুরস্কার এবং নান্দনিক সাহিত্য সম্মান।

যদ্দিন না পর্যাপ্ত সময় মিলছে, বইটই আর পড়া হবে বলে মনে হয় না। ততদিন নাহয় 'খুনি ম্যাজিক'-এ মজে থাকুন। মানগত দিক দিয়ে বইয়ের তিনটে গল্প দিব্যি 'অর্কিড রহস্য'কে ছাড়িয়ে যায়। বুধোদা ও রুবিকের কেমিস্ট্রি শুধু মজারই নয়, সেটা গল্পপ্রতি বৃদ্ধি পায়। বাংলা কিশোর সিরিজে কন্টিনিউইটির হদিশ পাওয়া চাট্টিখানি কথা নয়। সেখানে সিরিজটা ক্রমে ব্যতিক্রম হয়ে উঠছে। পাঠক হিসেবে এটা আপনার লাভ।
সৈকত মুখোপাধ্যায় তুখোড় লেখক। গল্পে আহামরি প্লটের অভাব? চিন্তা নেই। স্রেফ character moments দিয়ে সবটা পুষিয়ে দেওয়ার কলা, মানুষটি ভালো ভাবেই রপ্ত করেছেন। এবং সেটা ব্যবহারও করেন বিচক্ষণভাবে। তার লেখনী সেই চিরাচরিত কিশোর সাহিত্যের দ্বিমাত্রিক গোলকধাঁধায় পাক খেতে খেতেও খায় না যেন।
পুনশ্চ : হালকা চালে একটা কিশোর প্রেমের আভাস দিয়ে গেলেন লেখক মশাই। শেষ কবে এরূপ নিষ্পাপ রসায়ন উপভোগ করেছিলাম, মনে পড়ে না। এটা একটা মজাদার প্রাপ্তি।

এই বইয়ের প্রথম লেখাটা একেবারেই ইয়ে টাইপের।
দ্বিতীয় লেখাটা পুরো "মা কসম" লেভেলের।
তৃতীয় লেখাটা চলনসই।
সব মিলিয়ে, জাদুকরি লেখনী এবং দ্বিতীয় কাহিনির জোর নিয়েও বইটা "অর্কিড রহস্য"-র স্তরে পোঁছোতে পারেনি বলেই আমার অভিমত।
দ্বিতীয় লেখাটা পুরো "মা কসম" লেভেলের।
তৃতীয় লেখাটা চলনসই।
সব মিলিয়ে, জাদুকরি লেখনী এবং দ্বিতীয় কাহিনির জোর নিয়েও বইটা "অর্কিড রহস্য"-র স্তরে পোঁছোতে পারেনি বলেই আমার অভিমত।

বেশ হালকা মেজাজের একটি ডিটেকটিভ অ্যাডভেঞ্চার সমৃদ্ধ বই। বড়দের সাথে ছোটরাও পড়তে পারে এমন লেখা। বিশাল কিছু গল্প নেই। তবে কিছু সময় একটু predictable গল্প পড়তেও ইচ্ছা হয়। তখন এই বইটি যথাযথ। 🥰🥰
মাথা ঠাণ্ডা রেখে অধিক উত্তেজনা তৈরী না করে যদি একটা শান্তিপূর্ণ দিন কাটাতে চান এই বই তাহলে আপনার সেরা সঙ্গী। রোমহর্ষক রুদ্ধশ্বাস ধরনের কোন আশা রাখলে হতাশ হবেন বলে রাখলাম।
গল্পগুলি সত্যি ভালো। তবে ছোটদের গল্প।☺️ কিছু গোয়েন্দা গল্প বা থ্রিলার পরে মাথা পেকে গিয়ে থাকলে এই বই predictable লাগবে। আমারও লেগেছে কিন্তু ওই শান্তি টাকেই উপভোগ করেছি। আপনিও চাইলে দেখতে পারেন। ১৭৬ পাতার বই একদিনের বেশি লাগার কথা নয়।

প্রতিটা মানুষের মনের মধ্যেই একটা কিশোর মন লুকিয়ে থাকে, যে তার কৈশোরের দিনগুলো ফিরে পেতে চায় বার বার । ঠিক যে কারণে আমরা স্কুল লাইফের কথা কখনো ভুলতে পারি না । সেইরকমই... কোনো রহস্য-অ্যাডভেঞ্চার জঁনরার গল্পের বই পড়তে গিয়ে অনুভব করি যে আমার মধ্যেও সেই কিশোর মনটা এখনো প্রবলভাবে বেঁচে আছে, এবং সেই মনের খাদ্যবস্তু হলো ঠিক এই জঁনরাই । লেখক সৈকত মুখোপাধ্যায় কে অনেক শ্রদ্ধা জানাই এই ‛থ্রিলার/ডার্ক ফ্যান্টাসির’ রমরমার মধ্যেও ‛বুধোদা-রুবিক’ সিরিজ উপহার দিয়ে পাঠকদের কৈশোর-চেতনা টুকু বাঁচিয়ে রাখার জন্য ।
🔹কিছুদিন আগে ‛অর্কিড রহস্য’ নামের যে বইটি পড়েছিলাম তারই পরবর্তী খন্ড বলা যায় এই বইটিকে । সেই বইটিতেই পরিচয় হয়েছিল বাংলা সাহিত্যের ‛দাদা’ সিরিজের নবতম সংযোজন ‛বুধোদা’র সাথে । বোধিসত্ত্ব মজুমদার ওরফে ‛বুধোদা’ কিন্তু গম্ভীরমুখো গোয়েন্দা বা বন্দুকবাজ অ্যাডভেঞ্চারার নয়... সে বই পড়তে ভালোবাসে । মানবসভ্যতার ইতিহাসকে খুঁজে বেড়ায় মানুষেরই তৈরী নানান প্রাচীন শিল্পবস্তু আর কাজের দ্রব্যের মধ্যে - যাদেরকে এখন বলা হয় ‛অ্যান্টিক’ । অ্যান্টিক যে শুধুই দুষ্প্রাপ্য তা নয়, দুর্মূল্যও বটে । তাই অ্যান্টিকের সন্ধানে গিয়ে বুধোদাকে মোকাবিলা করতে হয় বিভিন্ন ধরণের অসৎ মানুষদের সাথে । বুধোদা কিন্তু সাধারণ অ্যান্টিক-ব্যাবসায়ী নয়, সে কখনো প্রাচীন পুঁথি বা সোনার মোহরের মতো গতানুগতিক দ্রব্যের পিছনে ছোটে না । তার সন্ধানী চোখ কখনো খোঁজে ‛এক নেকড়েমানবের গুপ্তধন’, কখনো ‛কাঁচের মতো স্বচ্ছ মৃতদেহ’ , আবার কখনো ‛বিগত যুগের এক জাদুকরের সরঞ্জাম’ । এই অ্যান্টিক-হান্টিং এ বুধোদার সঙ্গী হয় তার পাড়াতুতো ভাই ‛রুবিক’ । তাদেরই তিনটে রোমহর্ষক অ্যাডভেঞ্চার নভেলা দিয়ে সাজানো এই বইটি ।
এই নভেলা তিনটি যথাক্রমে -
🔸অ্যান্টিক আতঙ্ক ।
🔸কুকড়াঝোড়ার নেকড়েমানুষ ।
🔸খুনি ম্যাজিক ।
🔹সৈকত মুখোপাধ্যায়ের লেখনী নিয়ে বলার মতো সামর্থ্য আমার নেই । অসামান্য দক্ষতায় রহস্য তৈরী করে সুন্দর বর্ননায় রহস্যভেদ করতে তিনি সবসময়ই পারদর্শী । যে কোনো বয়সের পাঠককে আবিষ্ট করে রাখতে সক্ষম তার কলম ।
কিন্তু এই বইটির ব্যাপারে একটা অভিযোগ আছে আমার । গল্পগুলি সময়ের ক্রমানুসারে সাজানো হয়নি । প্রথম গল্পে বারবার এসেছে দ্বিতীয় গল্পের রেফারেন্স, অথচ গল্পটা আমরা পড়ছি তার পরে । আবার প্রথম গল্পের বেশ কিছু চরিত্র আবার ফিরে এসেছে তৃতীয় গল্পে , যেটা ক্রমানুসারে সাজালে আরও আকর্ষণীয় হতে পারতো ।
আমার মতে বইটি সাজানো উচিত ছিল এইভাবে -

🔸অ্যান্টিক আতঙ্ক ।
🔸খুনি ম্যাজিক ।

This is one of the first Bengali books I have sat down and read in YEARS. That itself, makes this special. This a part of a bunch of stories centered on Boddhisatwa Majumder, aka, Budho Da and his sidekick and cousin Rubik. Basically, they are the modern Feluda and Topshe. An important distinction is that Budho da's shtick is that he is not a detective but an antique collector. So there is a considerable focus on history and folklore in these stories.
This has three stories in it. Chronologically they are:-
1. Kukrajhorer Nekremanush- I didn't actually read this. I listened to it on Sunday Suspense. It was delightful and I really wanted to review this story on Goodreads but it took me some time to realise it was in this book.
Kukrajhorer Nekremanush is filled with the feeling of colonial rot and I mean this in a good way. One thing, Saikat Mukhopadhyay does really well is that, even though his writing is quite modern and filled with a lot of english words, he is terrific at building atmosphere. I could feel the foggy hills of Kukrajhora here, the embers of the British empire and all the hurt and pain they left behind. The story FEELS supernatural and will remind you a LOT of the Hounds of Baskerville.
I really loved how this tears the British a new hole. It lays bare the history of British subjugation, the torture, the imprisonment and the forced conversions. I don't know if it was intended, but the writing is so deep in the sense that we feel the cyclic nature of things, how even though the werewolf has appeared after a hundred years, we are made to think if anything at all has changed. The British have left us but they have been replaced with Indian masters, who don't really care what happens to all these tea workers. Like before, the descendant of the werewolf is one of the only ones who is sticking around and trying to do something for these people. So when the ending does come around, you have an ugly taste in your mouth with how things came about. Atleast I did. As much as I love Dumpy Bhai, I couldn't help notice how he was nothing more than a butler to these people, much less someone who has seen these hills from childhood and deserves as much of the spoils, if not more, than his Indian masters who live away and reap all the income from their hardwork. These Indian crony capitalists who were in cahoots with the British and will describe Dumpy Bhai as "trustful" when what they really mean is that he is dumb enough and reined enough to not revolt against them looting the region dry. When the final treasure is being dug up, I couldn't help but find it ironic that it was again Dumpy Bhai who was being made to dig up the corpses of his ancestors in the service and possible profit of these people who want to just sell the tea estate and run with the money.
But I don't know how much of it Saikat Mukhopadhyay really intended for us to feel. This story is special to me because I FELT ALL OF THIS while listening to it. A lot of it also goes to Radio Mirchi for adapting it so so well. But I don't know. Maybe I just read too much into stuff.
2. Antic Atonko- This is the first story in the book and chronologically the second here. As before, I have to say, Saikat sir, man what a fucking terrific atmosphere you build. We are taken to this small tribal village cut off from the internet and it is overlooked by this old haunted English villa which is made on blood red soil. That is a FANTASTIC setting.
I love how the more the mystery progresses, we get confused if the murders are real or not. Glass dead bodies is a very fun idea. I don't like how this ends, very anticlimactic but I wouldn't know how to end this otherwise. The witch on top of the hill is sooo spooky and all her bipolar behaviour really makes you think if she is a witch or not and I, if I had written it, would make the answer kind of affirmative. If this had to tread into the realm of the fantastic, I would go down that path is all I'm saying. We are also introducted to Saptadipa here, who is like i would the Batgirl to our Batman and Robin. In that, I don't really know if Robin is dating her or hating her, but I love how Saikat sir manages to keep the environment light and fun while also keeping it spooky. That is tough. I had a lot of fun reading this.
3. Khuni Magic- Again, terrific setup. I would say this is the weakest of the three stories so it is kind of surprising to me that this is the title story. Even the name is weird to me. It has too much history and it gets lost in all that exposition. While Kukrajhora was just amazing in how it tied the story to our real bloody history and Antic was so fun and spooky at the same time, this doesn't have that oomph to it. I love the villain. I love the backstory a lot. I love how the antic is finally revealed. But I mean, its just not as good as the others.
And you know what, it doesn't matter to me. As I said in the beginning, this was the first Bengali book I was reading in a long time. And as I was nearing the end fully engrossed, for the first time in my life, my Dad sat down with me and we took turns reading the story out aloud and we finished it together. This was a real bonding moment between me and my mostly distant father, enjoying a common interest, which i just didn't exist. So I don't care if this was good or bad. This book will be special to me. I got to see a new side of my father that day.
That doesn't fully alleviate how shit the last story was though. 4/5.

We are taken to this small tribal village cut off from the internet and it is overlooked by this old haunted English villa which is made on blood red soil. That is a FANTASTIC setting.
I love how the more the mystery progresses, we get confused if the murders are real or not. Glass dead bodies is a very fun idea. I don't like how this ends, very anticlimactic but I wouldn't know how to end this otherwise. The witch on top of the hill is sooo spooky and all her bipolar behaviour really makes you think if she is a witch or not and I, if I had written it, would make the answer kind of affirmative. If this had to tread into the realm of the fantastic, I would go down that path is all I'm saying. We are also introducted to Saptadipa here, who is like i would the Batgirl to our Batman and Robin. In that, I don't really know if Robin is dating her or hating her, but I love how Saikat sir manages to keep the environment light and fun while also keeping it spooky. That is tough. I had a lot of fun reading this.
3. Khuni Magic- Again, terrific setup. I would say this is the weakest of the three stories so it is kind of surprising to me that this is the title story. Even the name is weird to me. It has too much history and it gets lost in all that exposition. While Kukrajhora was just amazing in how it tied the story to our real bloody history and Antic was so fun and spooky at the same time, this doesn't have that oomph to it. I love the villain. I love the backstory a lot. I love how the antic is finally revealed. But I mean, its just not as good as the others.
And you know what, it doesn't matter to me. As I said in the beginning, this was the first Bengali book I was reading in a long time. And as I was nearing the end fully engrossed, for the first time in my life, my Dad sat down with me and we took turns reading the story out aloud and we finished it together. This was a real bonding moment between me and my mostly distant father, enjoying a common interest, which i just didn't exist. So I don't care if this was good or bad. This book will be special to me. I got to see a new side of my father that day.
That doesn't fully alleviate how shit the last story was though. 4/5.

💟'ফেলুদা-টেনিদা-ঘনাদা-বরদা' জানি না আর কত রকমের দাদা চরিত্র আমাদের বাংলা সাহিত্যকে সমৃদ্ধ করেছে। তবে আপনারা হয়তো অনেকেই জানেন বা অনেকেই জানেন না,বাংলাতে রয়েছে এমন একটি গোয়েন্দা চরিত্র যার নাম 'বুধোদা', একজন অ্যান্টিক হান্টার,কিংবা না জানি কত গুণের অধিকারী।এই সিরিজের দ্বিতীয় বই ❝খুনি ম্যাজিক❞ নিয়ে চলুন আজকে একটু আলোচনা করে নিই।

🎩অ্যান্টিক আতঙ্ক»বুধোদার ডাকে রুবিক এসেছে বুধোদার বাড়িতে।বুধোদা জানালেন তার বন্ধু রঘুনাথ দ্বিবেদী নাকি একটা খাম পাঠিয়েছেন।তার মধ্যে রয়েছে রঙিন ছবি ও হাতে লেখা চিঠি,চিঠিতে জানা যায়,শঙ্কু পাহান নামের এক আদিবাসী ব্যক্তির মেয়ে টুসাইয়ের পেটে অসহ্য যন্ত্রণা,তার সম্প্রদায়ের গুণিনের মুখে লোহুরঙের ডাইনির বাণের আঘাতে না বাঁচার কথা।কি হলো তারপর?টুসাই কি ফিরে পেল প্রাণ? লোহুরঙের ডাইনিই বা কে?
🎩 কুকড়াঝোরার নেকড়েমানুষ»বুধোদার বাড়িতে দেখা করতে আসেন মিস্টার সুধাবিন্দু বসাক।তার মুখেই কুকড়াঝোরার চা-বাগান,সেখানের পুরনো বাংলো, অ্যান্টিকের প্রসঙ্গ উঠে আসে। শুধু ড়য় বুধোদা-রুবিকের নতুন এডভেঞ্চার।কিন্তু গল্পকথাটা যখন বাস্তব রূপে ধরা দেয়? কেনই বা সুবেশ তির্কে মারা যাওয়ার এত বছর পরে নেকড়েমানুষ হয়ে ফিরে এল? উদ্দেশ্য কি!নাকি এর পেছনে কোন কুচক্র কাজ করছে?

✨প্রতিটা গল্প এতটা রোমাঞ্চকর যে পড়তে পড়তে,অ্যাড্রিনালিন ক্ষরণ কিভাবে বেড়ে যাচ্ছে বুঝতেই পারছি না।জানিনা এতদিন কি ভেবে এই গল্পগুলো পড়ার থেকে দূরে ছিলাম।পড়া যখন শুরু করছি গোগ্রাসে পড়ছি।একটা বিশেষ কথা এখানে বলে রাখি
লেখক এখানে 'বুধোদা' চরিত্রের মাধ্যমে অনেকটা নিজের অভিব্যক্তিকেই ফুটিয়ে তুলেছেন,এই যে অ্যান্টিক হান্টিং,বার্ড ওয়াচিং এই নেশাগুলো লেখকের মধ্যে স্বয়ং আছে।নইলে এতটা গভীরভাবে লেখা কখনোই সম্ভব নয়।
💐বুধোদা সিরিজের দুটি বই শেষ করলাম।এখন রইল বাকি এক ❤️।এই বইয়ের প্রচ্ছদটা ভারী মিষ্টি হয়েছে।

সৈকত মুখোপাধ্যায় নিঃসন্দেহে একজন ভালো মানের লেখক।তবে এখানে যে তিনটে গল্প আছে সেগুলো কিশোরদের জন্যই উপযোগ্য, তবে বড়রাও পড়তে পারেন। বুধোদা আর রুবিকের জুটির অ্যাডভেঞ্চারের কাহিনী আগেও পড়েছি, আবারও নতুন তিনটে গল্প পড়লাম। পাঠ্যানুভূতি খারাপ না, তবে কোনো গল্পের মধ্যেই রুদ্ধশ্বাস কিছু খুঁজতে গেলে হতাশ হবেন।
🔹অ্যান্টিক আতঙ্ক :(৪/৫⭐)
বুধোদার হাতে এসে পৌঁছায় কয়েকটা জীবন্ত হাতে আঁকা ছবি। সেই খোঁজেই রুবিক ও বুধোদা গিয়ে পৌঁছায় লোহুরং গ্রামে।সেই গ্রামে নাকি এক ডাইনি থাকে, সে মানুষকে মেরে কাঁচের পুতুল বানিয়ে দেয়। সত্যিই কি তাই ? কিন্তু কিভাবে ?
✍️ বেশ ইন্টারেস্টিং স্টোরি। পড়ে ভালো লেগেছে। নতুন ধরনের প্লট।
🔹কুকড়াঝোরার নেকড়েমানুষ : (৩/৫⭐)
শিলিগুড়ি থেকে আড়াই ঘণ্টা দুরত্বে কুকড়াঝোরা চা বাগান। সেখানে গ্রামবাসীদের কাছে আতঙ্ক হল নেকড়েমানুষের উৎপাত। সত্যিই কি তাহলে নেকড়েমানুষের তথা ওয়ারউলফ আছে ?
✍️ খারাপ না গল্পটা।কিশোররা পড়ে উপভোগ করবে আশা করছি।
🔹খুনী ম্যাজিক : (৩/৫⭐)
এক বন্ধ ঘরের মধ্যে খুন হয়ে যায় এক বৃদ্ধ, যিনি ছিলেন আসলে এক ম্যাজিশিয়ানের একমাত্র উত্তরাধিকারী। সাসপেক্ট হিসাবে নাম উঠে আসে বুধোদা ও রুবিকের। কিন্তু কিভাবে হল খুন ? খুনের মোটিভ কি ?
✍️ খুনী কিভাবে গায়েব হলো আগে থেকেই আন্দাজ করে ফেলেছিলাম কিছুটা, তাই মজাটা সেভাবে পেলাম না। আসলে গোয়েন্দা রহস্য বই পড়ে পড়ে এখন এসব ছোটোখাটো ব্যাপার ধরে ফেলি।

বাঙালির গোয়েন্দা গল্পে এক বিশাল দুর্বলতা। আর সেটা হতে হবে অবশ্যই হোমস স্টাইলে। একজন গোয়েন্দা থাকবে আরেকজন সাগরেদ। যেমন ফেলুদা, ব্যোমকেশ। আবার দাদা প্রীতি ও প্রবল। সে হোক ঋজুদার মতো এডভেঞ্চার গল্পে বা ঘনাদা, টেনিদার মতো হাস্যরসাত্মক গল্পে। সেরকমই আরেকটা নতুন সংস্করণ বুঝি সৈকত মুখোপাধ্যায়ের বুধোদা।
বুধোদা একজন এন্টিক হান্টার। মহারাজাস কালেকশন নামে তার এন্টিক এর দোকান। এন্টিকের খোজে বুধোদা বেরিয়ে পরেন মাঝেমাঝেই। সাথে থাকে পাড়াতুতো ভাই রুবিক। মুখোমুখি হয় নানা রকমের ঘটনার। এমনই তিনটি ঘটনা নিয়ে এই বই খুনি ম্যাজিক।
নাহ এই বইয়ে নেই রুদ্ধশ্বাস কোন গোয়েন্দা গল্প, কি আছে তাহলে? আছে সৈকত মুখোপাধ্যায়ের ম্যাজিক। খুন করার ম্যাজিক না, মানুষকে কথার চালে আটকে রাখার ম্যাজিক। হালকা মেজাজের তিনটা বড় গল্প পড়ে ফেলতে আপনার একটু ও বিরক্ত লাগবে না সিওর থাকেন।

কুকড়াঝোরার নেকড়েমানুষ আগেই অডিও স্টোরি শুনেছিলাম, বাকি দুইটি গল্প পড়লাম - অ্যাণ্টিক আতঙ্ক আর খুনি ম্যাজিক।
কিশোর-উপযোগী গল্প হলেও লেখকের লেখনীর গুণে বেশ উপভোগ্য লাগলো।
ভারী কোনো বই পড়ার পরে মাথা ধরলে এইধরনের ছোট এডভেঞ্চার-রহস্য গল্পগুলো বেশ স্বস্তি দেয়।
বুধোদা-রুবিকের গল্প পড়ে ঋজুদার গল্পের কথা মনে পড়ে যায়...
কিশোর-উপযোগী গল্প হলেও লেখকের লেখনীর গুণে বেশ উপভোগ্য লাগলো।
ভারী কোনো বই পড়ার পরে মাথা ধরলে এইধরনের ছোট এডভেঞ্চার-রহস্য গল্পগুলো বেশ স্বস্তি দেয়।
বুধোদা-রুবিকের গল্প পড়ে ঋজুদার গল্পের কথা মনে পড়ে যায়...

সৈকত মুখোপাধ্যায়ের লেখা বুধোদা সিরিজের এই বইটির তিনটি গল্পই চমৎকার। পড়তে শুরু করলে শেষ না হওয়া পর্যন্ত থামা যায়না।

The stories were unique and quite interesting and will keep you glued for hours, the protagonist Budho Da is an Antique collector while having a massive amount of knowledge in various other fields as well. Rubik is much like Topshe from Feluda, but I think Rubik is a much more matured and aged teenager than Topshe.
the combination was great, I think the climax of the " Kukrajhorar Nekremanush" could have been much better", Otherwise it was quite good. It's been a long time since I have read any detective fiction from the contemporary period it was totally a new experience solving crime when the internet and social media and everything today's generation is experiencing is already there.
