First off, I want to say I am amazed at how Jayne links together these series. The Dullahan skull, for those of us who have read Petra's series and know the role it plays in those books, makes me eager to read this series to see how she weaves together the happy ending we want with the seemingly conflicting storyline in the Shattered Magic realm!

Tara has made a deal with a lesser devil, O'Malley, or so she thinks, in order to get out from under Shaw. However, people she trusts or at least respects seem uneasy with this choice she has made, making her second guess her decision to hand over the skull. But are they truly concerned about a larger picture, or trying to serve their own self interests by denying her freedom? By the time she realizes she may have come to the wrong conclusion, the choice is out of her hands and she finds herself in a whole new world of trouble and facing challenges, with new revelations that change her life and perceptions. How far will Tara go and what dangers will she face to protect her family, while also trying to gain her own independence and secure happiness? Well, I personally cannot wait to find out.

No planning

Characters who blindly stubble through their challenges are very irritating. That she doesn't take a second to think about the obvious is hard to take. And the unwilling to wait before jumping off a cliff for no reason other than she wants to get it done. Dumb Why did idioticly handing off the sky iron give her confidence. It was a disaster, she was just lucky she thought up a semi barely reasonable excuse for giving it to him. What has changed? Seems like now she has to find items for 2 fae without pay and 2 on earth. She wasn't released from her obligation to Shaw. What I did like is the convoluted political mess. I can see people no matter how good intentioned getting dragged into all the intrigue of a kings court, even if it's the last thing you want. Awful. Next book almost a year out, ouch

Another exciting & riveting 2nd book in the new Tara Knightly series. Great characters in Tara, Ray & Judah as they continue their fight for justice & freedom from the powerful & mysterious Mr Shaw. Having snatched the powerful magical item required to get away from Mr Shaw; Tara discovers it might not have been the right thing to do after all & has only made things worse for her, her family & all in Fairie! Can they retrieve it back from O'Malley & survive the powerful magic of his Mage, Ono, & stop a possible catastrophe in Fairie? Can Tara strike out on her own after ensuring, at last, her family is safe & healthy? Can she trust Ray & will there be a 2nd chance for her & Judah after all? Read this action-packed & magical series to find out - roll on book 3!

I really liked the first book in this series, and I liked the prequel even more. When I was done reading this one, I was blown away. This is the best book so far I’ve read by this author. This book is filled with action, great writing, and an excellent plot. I really like the direction that the book has taken (can’t say too much as I don’t want to spoil it), and I really like the character growth that Tara has gone through. The things about her I didn’t really like are smoothed over. I am eagerly waiting for the next book as I want to see what’s going to happen next. Highly recommend! I was provided a complimentary copy which I voluntarily reviewed.

too much rehashing

Second installment of a series, it had a lot of rehashing of events/things from book 1, which could have been skipped, started skimming those portions and boom at end of book. I think Judah is using Tara or leading her on, relationship feels weird more like he is feeling guilty and trying to make up. Sexy times was a fade to black. He has referred several times as his uncle is pack master so I am expecting a arranged mating or fated mate with a shifter thing and Tara will be kicked to curb again.

Good story, Great Action!

I enjoyed this 2nd book in the series. It gave more personality and depth into the characters. The action in this book was great. I enjoyed going through the conflicts and drama as it unfolded with Tara and her family. Shaw and Isaac conflict is something to watch escalate in further stories.. maybe she will end up with Judah.. But there are a few men in the story..mm fun!

If you want a fabulous UF read, this is the series for you. Tara hopes by dealing with Isacc O'Malley her debt with Shaw will go away. No one will tell her why Shaw didn't want her to look for the skull artifact. Will Tara have chosen poorly to throw in with O'Malley? Fast paced, lots of twisty's, and mystery of what's happening in Faerie. And a werewolf...

Another good read

This is another good read from Jayne Faith. I love that each series is set in the same world even though some have different time lines. The world building along with well rounded characters that have room for growth makes her series so enjoyable. I can't wait to read the next book.

Echo of Bone

Tara Knightley escaped the wrath of Shaw; now she's had enough. It's time for Tara to find a way to get out from under Shaw's thumb, and maybe, just maybe, O'Malley is the answer... Or is he?

Hang on tight, because you're in for one heck of a ride! Fae and Faerie, magic and mages, this book is packed with action, danger and desire!

I absolutely enjoyed reading this third (Second if not counting the Prequel) Book about Tara Knightley. What a BOMBSHELL of a family revelation that was dropped on her! And I definitely ship Jura/Tadah. I cannot wait for this next book coming in December (31st if I am not mistaken)

Unlike Jayne Faith's other books, I found this one a bit slow. Normally, I can't put them down. However, this may just be me.

Bueno, pero muy lento, el romance le falta más desarrollo, y fue un poco ahogante su situación con su familia.

I enjoy the characters and the story. However, there is too much regurgitation of previous information throughout the book.
