Merry and Nick are given an opportunity to right their past. Let's just say that their chemistry is incredibly EXPLOSIVE in this easy-to-read sizzler of a novella. I love the character names. Very appropriate for the season and holidays. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.

i read this book as part of an arc program. This is the second chance romance between Nick and Merry. Nick returns to town and wants Merry back, only she hates him. Merry and Nick dated in high school and when Nick was moving away, he wanted Merry to go with him, but she said no, and Nick left anyway, never looking back. Now Nock is back and he is determined to get Merry back. When Nick and his father go to Merry's parents for dinner, Merry almost left, but she decided to get through dinner and leave. Nick wanted to walk her home, hoping to talk and explain why he left. Merry still had feelings for Nick and couldn't fight it any longer. I liked this story, i liked Nick and Merry together. I think they both still loved each other and matured while they were apart. I think Nick was ready to settle down and he knew he couldn't hurt Merry again. Good one.

I liked this story. Merry and Nick were high school sweethearts until he left for New York. Nick asked Merry to come with him but she said no, thinking that he would change his mind and stay. Five years later he's back and wants Merry back too. The angst resolved way quicker than I thought it would, which was a surprise. Liked their happy ever after. Loved Merry's mom's name. It just cracked me up (once it managed to click in my head). Good holiday story. I recommend reading this book.

I enjoyed this Christmas story it’s a second chance romance about Nick and Merry, they were dating in high school but Nick was leaving and he wanted Merry to go with him but she said no so Nick left anyway and in turn breaking Merry’s heart. 5 years later Nick is back in town to help his father he tries to talk to Merry but she won’t talk to him she’s still hurt from him leaving but she also still loves him. I’m not going to get too much into this story it’s a short one but it’s a fantastic one and I highly recommend this book it’s definitely well worth the read.

Young love, the one that got away, but five year’s later, can apologies be made. Fantastic storyline between Merry and Nick, still in love but hard to let the hold hurts go without bringing up resentment. Like how the whole plot was written and explained to let the reader understand the decisions that were made. Good ending for this novella.

I really enjoyed this latest read by Tilly Pope. Merry was surprised when her ex-boyfriend comes back to town after leaving town after graduation. She is still mad after all these years. Nick has come home to check on his father after he had a heart attack. Seeing Merry again brings all the feelings back. Not only is he here to look after his dad but to claim the woman that has always belonged to him. Can Nick convince Merry to give them another chance?

Nick is returning to his hometown to help his father recover from a heart attack and get Merry back in his life. Merry doesn't want anything to do with him because of how he left her. This is a short story with some unresolved hate/love issues, some family drama and some misunderstanding between the main characters. Cute story, quick read.

Short sweet read!

Merry and Nick use to date in high school. Upon graduation, Nick asks Merry to leave with him to NY without explaination, but she says no and they are both left heart broken.

Five years later, Nick comes back home to help his father after he suffered a heart attack. His goal is to win Merry back. Will she forgive him and give them a second chance?

This is a short sweet must read!

This was short and cute and lots sexy. I feel like Merry forgave Nick too quickly though with no explanation. She went from hating him to flirting with him in a microsecond and gave me whiplash. Their coming together was cute though and fun.

A perfect second chance romance. Well written with good storyline and flow. Love these characters. Merry and Nick have great chemistry from the beginning. A shorter read but still has a perfect balance of sweet and steam.

Nick's life fell apart and rather than tell Merry, he just wanted to run away and wanted her to drop her life and run away with him no questions asked. Merry couldn't do that even if it meant being with the love of her life.
