I have loved the Real Men books since the series began I mean who wouldn’t love a hot, possessive, alpha rugged man in their book lives.

This series gets better and better with each new addition to A Real Man series. Big and Landry's story was a sweet and a slow burn read and I loved the chemistry between them!

This real men story was more cute and romantic than smutty.. it was semi steam.. there was something missing for me in this.. :( maybe it was the pinning for 5 years for both..

Once in awhile, you found a very enjoyable meatless read. And you devoured all 157 pages of it in 30 minutes. And the cover every 5 minutes.

This is a super short novella about a big lumberjack man nicknamed “Big” because he and... himself... are big, and a woman named Landry.
Big (Barrett) noticed Landry when she first moved to his mountain town 5 years ago. He’s been crushing on her since, too scared to say anything. He finally works up the nerve and calls her for her cleaning services.
Landry moved to the small town and started her own cleaning business. She’s noticed Big, and she’s secretly been in love with him, but too scared to approach him about it. Then Big calls her over to clean his house.
Considering this is only like 60 pages, I’ll excuse the disappointing fact that there’s only (if memory serves) one sex scene. I thought it too cute that Big was so scared to talk to Landry. I also appreciated that Landry was a curvaceous woman, and that Big loved her for it. This was a super short read and it was a really cute story.

I love this series that Jenika Snow writes and have been waiting for this one. Big and Landry have been "interested" in each other for 5 years but Big has decided it's time to claim her as his. Loved the interaction between them. Sweet but still oh so hot!!! This one has all the feels to it.

Loved Big and Landry. For the past 5 years, he has wanted her but was too scared to act upon it until he couldn’t take it anymore. Their attraction and chemistry was so good. It was fun watching Big finally get his girl. They were so good together. If you are looking for a quick instalove romance then this is the book for you. You won’t be disappointed after you done with this story. Highly recommend it.

it has been a while since i had read one of my Jenika "A Real Man" series ... so i saw this dude. what a hottie. her reads like this are quick and done ...if that is what you are looking for??! I gotta say that when i see a person named Landry ... i think of LAUNDRY??! who is with me??! will always read more from Jenika Snow ... enjoy her writing style.

How could he convince her that he wants her, though, especially since he never talks to her but just pines for her from afar? Obviously, he'll hire her for her cleaning services. But when she gets the call, it's the answer to her dreams because she's wanted Big for as long as he's wanted her.
Commentary: One of my favorite in the Real Man series! Also, there's an extended epilogue in the Australia anthology (I don't know if that's available anymore).
I loved the idea of almost-unrequited love; all they had to do was talk to each other and they'd find that they had the same end in mind. I also like the extra-big guy, scary to everyone else, but a teddy bear to the woman he loves. He's kind of like a mountain man but also has the means to take care of her. She's not a prissy princess, nor is she so down on her luck that she needs someone to rescue her. Great pairing!

Big - what a nickname! - is just what his nickname implies - big. He lives alone and has been dreaming of one woman for five long years. Her name is Landry. She is newer in town and owns a cleaning service. He decides he will finally get it together and ask her out.
Landry has been dreaming of Big, too. She wonders why he never speaks to her when she sees him in town - at six and a half feet tall he's hard to miss. When he requests her services to clean his home she thinks she will melt in a puddle at his feet. Maybe she will finally get up the nerve to tell him how she feels.
It is endearing to read about a large, handsome, sex-on-a-stick man who is a bit shy. Big and Landry are made for each other and when they get together it is hot! A sweet epilogue is also included in the story.

They're constantly pining for eachother but they hold back and fear rejection and Big is just absolutely adorable because as intimidating as he sounds, nah, he's a total love. That unabashed vulnerability he has when it comes to Landry..

Big, sweet guys are my kryptonite and there just aren't a lot of them out there. So I was over the moon when I got my hands on Big. Big (obviously a nickname and I love how he got it) hasn't really been in a relationship but he wants to be. His attraction to the curvy house cleaner is starting to wear on him. He hasn't been able to pluck up the courage to approach her but he just can't sit back any longer. Landry has had her eye on Big since the moment she moved to town. Scared of rejection, she couldn't bring herself to approach him. The waiting for one of them to make a move almost killed me in the best way! So adorable, I loved it!

I don’t know why I read this. I knew going in it was going to be ridiculous and not my taste. And I definitely laughed when it probably wasn’t meant to be funny.
Its essentially one long day (give or take) between two people who have been pining after each other for 5 years…without ever having spoken. They meet, have sex the next day, say I love you whilst screwing, then declare undying love forever by that evening.
Unrealistic, smutty, very much a “fill her with my seed” type of book. If that’s your jam, you’ll like it. Otherwise, it might be a good novella to read as a palate cleanser for something better.

Such a Big softy
I truly enjoy each new book in this series. Each book is short and steamy, the guys are alpha males with a sensitive side, and the ladies love their men. Big is the perfect alpha male and I love that the author made him human by showing his insecurity and fear of rejection. Landry is super sweet and innocent, the perfect match for Big. It might have taken them a while to get together, but once they do the sparks fly. I can’t wait to read the next Real Men installment from the author.

Story of 5 long years of ogling over someone who wanted so much but due to ginormous fear of rejection or uncertainty, lusted over a distance instead. And it goes both ways - H an h, secretly pining for each other for years, not once they talk to each other or look directly to one another.
I'd say chickenshit albeit cute people.

Big and Landry's story was epic insta love with a slow burning desire.
If only they had the courage to be up front about their love so much time wouldn't have been wasted.
But when they did get their act together it was swoonworthy and sweet.
These two were definitely built for each other and make the perfect couple.
I really enjoyed reading this novella and I highly recommend you one click it asap.

Big definitely belongs in the Real Man series! He’s alpha, super hot, knows what he wants but shows his softer side when he’s afraid that Landry won’t want him as well. Landry on the other hand is strong, a head worker and determined to tell Big how she feels. I really enjoyed this book and cannot wait for the next Real Man!! I received this book as an advanced reader copy in exchange for an honest review.
