Great retro gaming book with nice visuals, and just the right balance of game overviews with developer interviews. I didn't have any Atari 8-bit friends growing up, so many of the titles were new to me. I liked the bit about Robert Crane's Zaxxon licensing.

Nitpick: Book claims that the Atari port of the C64 game Forbidden Forest showed off the "Atari 8-bit's superior graphics and sound capabilities". Uhh... while the graphics took a small hit in the port, Paul Norman's amazing soundtrack got totally butchered.

I really enjoyed this book, it had the right mix of information and interviews and is a decent size for your money. Much better than most Atari books out there.
