Kyle Robert Shultz is the creator of the Aftermythos, an interconnected collection of stories set in an alternate universe where fairy tales and mythology are history. Shultz is a completely ordinary human being with no remarkable qualities whatsoever. Accounts suggesting that he is a dangerous wizard exiled from a parallel reality, a cleverly-disguised magical creature passing off the history of another world as original fiction, a mysterious trickster entity described in the folklore of a circumscribed region of Wales, or a pseudonym adopted by three talking otters stacked up in a trench coat should be dismissed as not entirely accurate.

This short story was so much fun! I loved seeing the Beaumont and Beasley team working on a case together, and the banter was just as splendid as always. :)
Now wasn't this a fine ould story? Indeed it was. All the elements — just very nice. Very fortunate that I happened to come across it, says I.
And there. That's enough information for a proper review. And have I ever mentioned how hard it is to write a review with a tablet? If I haven't, it's hard. G'day!
Definitely one of the cuter ghost stories I’ve ever read. Crispin is a ridiculous cinnamon roll and a Molly is a doll. They’re definitely the “less intense pair” of Beaumont and Beasleys.
I love that Crispen and Molly got some spotlight, and that they showed off their individual character traits so well . It was probably the only "ghost story" I will ever enjoy in life (because ghost stories in the traditional sense , not my thing ).
