Super Mickey
Paniek in de zoo! Wie gaat er schuil onder het kostuum van Super-Goofy? Voor Mickey en zijn vrienden blijft het een mysterie! De aandachtige lezer weet al dat het niemand minder is dan Goofy die de superheldencape draagt. Dankzij magische pindanoten heeft hij superkrachten gekregen! Deze superheld zet boeven achter slot en grendel, redt katten uit een boom en haalt een passagiersschip uit woelig water. Op een dag is hij snipverkouden en niest hij zo hard dat hij in volle vlucht al zijn magische pindanoten kwijtraakt! De noten belanden midden in de zoo waar ze worden opgesmikkeld door de dieren, die de zoo en de hele stad op stelten zetten, tot groot jolijt van Boris Boef en zijn bende. Zij profiteren van de afwezigheid van Super-Goofy. Gelukkig waakt Mickey, die geen seconde twijfelt en de heldenplunje aantrekt zodat er weer orde heerst in de stad!

Four Dickie-albums have appeared since, and the Dickie-comic strip is published in various Flemish and French papers. The combination of cynical jokes and an innocent style forms a distinct personal signature.

Ik hou enorm van de tekenstijl en de typische zwarte humor van De Poortere. Zijn Mickey en Pluto is leuk om te lezen maar richt zich vooral op veel jongere bengels dan mezelf. Na het lezen heb ik vooral zin om het in de handen van mijn mijn zesjarig nichtje te stoppen want zij zal hier véél meer van genieten. Dit zou als democratisch geprijsde softcover moeten worden aangeboden om beter zijn doelpubliek te bereiken.

Historie, literatura a komiksy nám dávají spoustu odpovědí na to, co se stane, když na zemi spadne meteorit. Když spadne mezi arašídy na Goofyho zahrádce, tak začne ovlivňovat své okolí. A protože Super Mickyho nenapsal Lovecraft, ale Pieter de Poortere, tak Goofy nezešílí a nezajde bídnou smrtí, ale po požití ozářených arašídů se z něj stává superhrdina. Asi si umíte představit, jak to dopadne, když se Goofy pustí do superhrdinských skutků. Občas ani jeho velké srdce a dobrosrdečnost nedokáže vynahradit jeho super nešikovnost. Když potom navíc utečou z vězení všichni vězni a z místní ZOO zase zvířata, tak se do toho bude muset vložit i Mickey.
Super Mickey je vtipná groteska. Na komiks s Disneyovic popstavama má velmi nezvyklou kresbu, ze které by nejednomu skalnímu zastánci Disneyovského stylu mohla prasknout žilka. Nemá cenu pouštět se do jejího popisu, prostě se podívejte na obrázky. Vtipný není jen scénář, ale i sama kresba. Po čase si ale začnete uvědomovat, že je ten humor až příliš dětský. Trošku to zachraňuje poselství v příběhu, které přináší dvě ponaučení. V prvé řadě to ukazuje, že se to s dobrosrdečností nemá přehánět. Druzí toho začnou zneužívat. Druhé poselství je, že abyste mohli pomáhat, nemusíte mít super sílu. Na něco ale jen snaha nestačí.
Komiks má 64 stran a vyšel v pevné vazbě a velkém formátu u nakladatelství Glénat.

History, literature and comics give us a lot of answers to what happens when a meteorite falls to Earth. When it falls among the peanuts in Goofy's garden, it begins to affect its surroundings. And because Super Mickey was not written by Lovecraft, but by Pieter de Poortere, Goofy doesn't go mad and doesn't die a miserable death, but after eating the irradiated peanuts, he becomes a superhero. You can probably imagine what will happen when Goofy starts to do superheroic work. Sometimes even his big heart and kindness cannot cover his super clumsiness. When all the prisoners escape from prison and the animals from the local zoo, Mickey will have to get involved.
Super Mickey is funny grotesque. For a comic with Disney characters, it has a very unusual art that could make many a die-hard Disney fan burst. There is no point in describing it, just look at the pictures. Not only the script is funny, but also the drawing itself. After a while, however, you start to realize that the humor is a bit too childish. The message in the story saves it a bit, which brings two lessons. First of all, it shows that kindness should not be overdone. Others will start to abuse it. The second message is that you don't need to have super strength to be able to help. But effort alone is not enough for something.
The comic has 64 pages and was published in large hardcover by Glénat.

Jacques Glénat, while only in my second handful of preferred francophone publishers, IS my favorite publisherER in terms of personal business savvy. I ONLY know this but it's enough to fascinate me: He started the company at only 20 years old in the 1970s and by 2000 had to have the most titles produced and may still since my relentless 9th art searching over last bunch of years has seen his name the most on covers spanning the entire history of bd that I see!

Prima di leggere questo volume, non avevo mai sentito parlare di questo autore.
È straordinariamente bravo, ha una capacità di tradurre il tempo comico nel linguaggio fumettistico che mi ha sinceramente stupito.
Il fumetto di topolino più divertente che abbia mai letto.

Nell'onda delle riletture moderne dei personaggi classici Disney, una storia muta molto semplice e dal tratto spesso ma piuttosto raffinata e divertente.
