Anyway, I needed a palate cleanser read and this did the job.

Jessa Kane is seriously becoming a one click buy for me. Her stories are fun, steamy and HOLY Hell was this hot. I honestly think that this is the hottest book she has written so far.
Private Griffin has always prided himself on his self-control especially when it comes to women, that is until the day he is asked to guard Sister Mercy. Believing he is immune to any and all women’s charms he accepts the job of keeping the treasured and protected Sister safe and pure but once he sets eyes on her he is the one at her Mercy and is determined to keep her safe at all costs but when it becomes apparent that there is more to the situation than just guarding Sister Mercy he knows that she is meant to be his one. Can he save her from the nefarious plans of the church and claim her as his woman or will she be stolen from him?
Sister Mercy was dropped off by her father with the nuns when she was younger, living within the church walls and kept well away from any man to lust after but when the church becomes unsafe she is left in the charge of Private
Griffin and suddenly her thoughts aren’t so pure where he is concerned but she is promised to God how can she be having these thoughts? Is she really meant to serve God or are there other plans for her that she is unaware of?

His Forbidden Obsession had a typical Jessa Kane’s female character in it. But this time, the story made me cringe. Again, there was the “she’s so pretty, other men won’t be able to control themselves” line that’s slowly but surely getting really old but also, the whole plot felt like a spit on everything I believe and know about nuns, just to create some “exciting” and “dramatic” plot twist.
