This is pretty good, emotionally engaging clean story with a single dad & a grieving nosy neighbor. He seemed to be drawn to Julia and she to him. I like how Julia bonds with his daughter but I think she was a bit too dramatic and demanding her expectations of him too early in their budding friendship. He is nice, passive in some ways but not without limits. I like him because of his focus to take care of his daughter. I prefer a faster pace to the relationship to allow for more dating time but they seem to blend well after all the dust settles. Not a bad little story it’s a bit slow in the beginning but it gets there in the end. Julia has just lost mother and best friend to cancer and it’s taken a toll on her mentally and she struggles everyday just to get by. Then her client and friend Shay offers her her place to look after while she is away for the summer in Europe and she excepts after talking to her best friend Laura. Looking to start a new life in Sterling Ohio is the place she hopes that will heal her heart and set her free to be a normal person again. While unpacking she drops her books and bends down to get then and man appears and she gets help from her new hot neighbour Kal that helps her carry her stuff inside and even helps her unpack it all and puts it away then offers her over to his place for dinner and Julia agrees. Once she is there she meets Kal’s daughter Maya and they hit it off straight away and start spending more time together but Julia feels Kal is hiding something but she is not sure what but intends to fine out. Things get complicated and secrets are causing problems between them both, so how do the move forward and look to the future if there is no trust.

The Prince Next Door turns out to be a single dad living in Ohio and working as a carpenter. He is trying to stay well below the radar and keep his secret. But the new neighbor is about to blow it all up if he is not careful. She bonds with his daughter and they start a "relationship". It is slow like molasses in the relationship department, to the point of being overly long to get there.
This story is sweet and has some moments to it. The h drove me crazy because she is demanding of him before they are even really in a relationship. But then again he is closed off in certain ways so I can understand her frustrations. But what will happen when she does learn his secret?
As with the previous books in this series The Prince Next Door is also very sweet and clean, almost to the point of giving me a cavity. The writing is good but the book is a bit long to me as I think it could be edited down and still keep the story-line and characters the same. But this is only my opinion as I know others will love this story and the series.

I recieved this book for Free to Give My True & Honest Review
What a beautiful & fantastic love story, where we see graphic designer Julia whose had a heart breaking year though especially the last few months where she feels like she has to get out of NYC to give herself a break & it's why she decides to go during the summer in Ohio & this is where she meets her new neighbour Kal & his young daughter Maya & they seem to connect with ease.
And we see their relationship with ease & very fast & see them opening up to each other well really Julia opens up until she mistakenly opens up a letter for 'Nikos' & it's when she gives him the letter & shares what she's read & learned about him, that things takes a heart breaking turn about & it's from here that we see if he'll open up to her with who HE is or if this is the turning point of their new relationship.

Julia needs to recharge since the death of her mum. She stays at a friend's house in Ohio & is overwhelmed by her handsome neighbour who comes to her aid. There is that insta attraction, one Hal hasn't experienced for a long time. They skirt around each other for awhile but are bonded by his cute daughter. Unfortunately Julia knows he's hiding something & sticks her nose in his business by opening a letter, which has her intrigued.
When the truth is revealed Hal runs off with his daughter however has second thoughts after Julia convinces him to return home. While this is slightly predictable it's a really nice feel good read. The characters are well developed but Julia did get a bit annoying with her persistence. A real modern day fairytale.

Julia is having a hard time after losing her mom and is offered a place to go house sit for someone. When she goes she runs into her new neighbors Kal and his daughter Maya. Julia feels connected to them and ends up spending time with them. However Kal is holding back from her and she doesn't know why. Julia ends up snooping in his mail and discovers what he didn't want her to know. Kal and Maya take off leaving her behind but will he se that Julia is a part of them and come back for her? Can he trust her after what she did?
This is an amazing story that will draw you in from the first chapter. The chemistry between them is blazing hot. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend it to any book lover.

Amazing & beautiful love story
I loved this story it's so wonderful, romantic & sweet I didn't want it to finish. After her mother had died Julia went to stay at a friend's house for the summer to try & get away from the painful memories but when she meets her new neighbour Kal & his daughter Maya she feels something other than loss. As they spend more time together they have a wonderful connection & she already loves Maya as if she was her own. She can tell something is different the way Kal behaves sometimes but she had no idea of the secrets & how big the difference is.This story had me smiling but also a bit teary at times & I was desperate for a fairytale happy ever after.

The book was really great, Drama and Romance this story was absolutely awesome. The author wrote a exceptional awesome book. The story about a prince who left his home because his father the king couldn't except his son was involved with a women other than his father's wanted him to marry someone with royalties, instead he chooses outside the country and left his home! ENJOY! Please read this book and find out what happens next!

I really enjoyed this story, it's fast-paced and well-written, the storyline is sweet and emotional, Julia moves to a little town to get into a good headspace since her mother passed away. Her next door neighbor is good looking and kind and she's instantly smitten with Kal and his sweet young daughter, Maya. There is plenty of drama in this story, no cliffhangers and a delightful HEA.

Like all of Holly's previous books I've read, this one is and enjoyably, sweet story. You keep turning the pages to find out what happens between Julia and Kal. Holly has done a wonderful job writing the story that the reader falls in love with everything about it, the story line, the characters and the romance.

I really enjoyed reading this book, the interaction between Kal and Julia was great. The storyline was really enjoyable, I loved the fact that they both had things they had to overcome to get to a happy ending. The fact that it was a small time romance was something that like reading about, I look forward to reading more books by this author.

Julia decides to go away for the summer. The loss of her mother has taken a toll on her and she needs to revamp. But who can do that when the next door neighbor, Kal is one piece of hot specimen. Only thing is he is not who he seems to be and he doesn’t want to discuss the past but some things will always come out regardless of what you hide. As usual, I really enjoyed Holly’s book.

Wonderful romance with lots of angst for both Julia and Kal. The blurb gives a great preview of what to expect from the story. Each of them were trying to recover and move on from trials in life. Neither were looking for romance. I loved Kal’s little girl Maya’s character. I received a complementary copy of this book via Booksprout and chose to write a review. I look forward to reading future books by this author.

An interesting book three in the Ravishing Royals series! The story line is well written, emotionally deep, and engaging with drama, secrets, and intrigue. It is an engaging page turner that moves at brisk pace, will pull you in from the first page, and keep you turning the pages to find out what happens next. The characters are likeable with off the charts chemistry between them. Definitely recommended!

New Yorker Julia’s life has been very stressful so she needs a change. She goes to house sit in a small midwestern town . Her neighbor is a hot surprise. The characters are real about their fears and feelings. Thus is a sweet and clean romance that has great character interactions and storyline.

Yet another well written entertaining story from Holly. I loved reading about Kal and Julia. At the beginning I did get slightly aggravated by how closed off Kal was but as his story unfolded the reasons behind it became clear and were understandable. Definitely a book not to be missed.

This is a wonderfully well-crafted book with interesting characters who are not who they are pretending to be. These characters have hidden pasts and there is someone who knows who he really is and there is problems. I could not put the book down until I read it from beginning to end. A must read

I enjoyed Kal and Julia's story. This book has an interesting and emotional storyline. The characters were likable and had good chemistry. Some drama and secrets add tension to the book. I thought that this was a good read. This is my frank, freely posted review.
