I was picked by Emma to beta read this book.....and I thoroughly enjoyed it. She did an awesome job at capturing the essence of the time for which this book is set in. Her characters are lively and each have distinct characteristics that make them lovable.
I have read the first two novels in her Helena series and it was such a great insight to seeing where some of these characters originated. Learning how their relationships blossomed was also a welcomed experience.
If you want a book that is witty and charming, with dashes of humour and shocks...the you'll love Fallen Rose.
I worked on the cover and got an arc copy. I enjoyed it. The characters are diverse with lots of banter, and though it has serious moments, there's still that touch of comedy. It blends well.
Great start to Lowe’s series mixing action, romance, and truly wicked vampires. Fans of vivid historical fiction and horror-tinged adventure should definitely check this out!
This is just one of those series you hope never ends. Emma Lowe is brilliant with her words, and I am happy I got to enjoy her work - this book, along with many others. She is one of those writers that just keeps giving, which is good because I guarantee you you won't be able to put her books down.
