Mothers, grandmothers, daughters, caregivers, nurses, babysitters ... the 18 cases included here showcase women who kill. Different motives, different means of killing, but these are/were all vicious tempered women.

I won't go through each and every one here, but the ones that stand out are:

Martha Rendell: Rendell murdered her stepchildren in the most horrific way possible. Puts a new twist to the evil stepmother.

Kelly Cochran: Convicted of two savage murders, Cochran may well be a serial killer. But did she really feed one of her victims to unsuspecting neighbors?

Audrey Marie Hilley: A suburban housewife with a deadly quirk. She enjoyed feeding poison to her nearest and dearest.

This book is not for the faint of heart, but if you like true crime, you will like this peek of some of the most famous women who have killed for love, lust, greed, jealousy and revenge.

Many thanks to the author for this digital copy. Opinions expressed here are unbiased and entirely my own.

Great and informative

As said above it's a great read and very informative. As always Mr. Keller has done it again. The only down side is I wish it was on different women that have not been written about so much and idk if it's just cause these stories capture more attention or there are just not as many women killers out there.
But even though I've heard and read about most these killers I know and count on when a book is written by this author that I am still going to enjoy the read and learn something knew. So unlike most authors I will still buy and continue to read. He has a way with words and the way he writes that is great and he's one of my all time favorites!!! You won't be disappointed at all with his work or any of his books. I highly recommend them in fact!!

Another superb collection

Deadly Women Volume 4 is another treasure trove of true crime. With the old interspersed among the new, it is indeed shocking to see what the gentler sex is capable of doing to friend and foe.

The poisoners and baby farmers are among the worst for the sheer numbers of their victims, but some of the others are shocking because of their willingness to kill as a problem-solving option.

If you like True Crime and like quick reads, then I recommend Robert Keller. A collection of stories about some of the murderous women through history. The stories are well-written without any unrelated content.

Another impressive work

Prolific crime writer, Robert Keller, has written another good book this time focusing on female killers. There are many obscure cases with a few well known thrown in. All his anthologies are good reading and often free through various Kindle programs.
