I  transferred from another chapter to Miami. 

I needed a change and this was it. 

I fell into line with the rest of the guys here. 

The day I get shot is the day my life changes. Left at a local doctor's office to heal, I met her. 

She was different. She wasn't your normal type of girl. 

I could be myself with her...in the dark. 

In the light I was the monster I was named after. 

Except she didn't look at me the way everyone else did and I liked that. 

She's something I might want to keep but my instincts are to push her away. 

Now I'm struggling to find my path in life again. With or without her.

ღ This is kinda like beauty & the beast Erin Trejo style .. So, course you know that Erin is going to put her own Lil twist to it.


They are two perfectly broken souls that are finding their way to each other. With all the twists and turns in this book I didn't know what to expect. I have loved the Soulless Bastards since the beginning, & Erin just up her game with this one in my eyes. This author continues to amazes me with each book she writes
Both of them have things in their past that make them want to hide in the shadows


He, was patched into the No Cal Chapter of the Soulless Bastards years ago in California. , but his life was complicated. Monster had too many ghosts haunting him back there, so he asked for a transfer… Thankfully the Prez in Miami (Viking) welcomed him with open arms.



They call me Monster for more reasons than you think, most people don't to want to get close enough to me, once they see what I look like. For good reasons … my appearance might not be the scariest thing about me…

I’m dark, dangerous, lethal & I might even be broken. But she sees none of that …. She only see the true me ….I feel the strongest in the darkness, but for some reason she makes me want to stand in the light



Kyza, work few odd jobs here & there … her main job is working at clinic at night on the bad side of town….

she been on the run so long that she doesn’t realize she had been in one spot for too long until it’s too late


I was blow away with everything about this couple & honestly I hate to say goodbye to this group of men

Erin does it again, another book from SBMC that I couldn’t put down till it was finished. I’m totally in love with Monster and Kyza, yes there are some dark parts and a couple of dub con sex scenes but all gelled together and I genuinely need to read this again soon . The ending is a proper awwwwww feel and happy watery eyes this time

Monster has his name due to his scars... half his face and down one side of his body. When people look at him that is what they see...a scary Monster.

Kyza works for one of the club doctors. He isn't just a club doc but has a clinic set up for anyone, even the homeless who can't afford treatment. Kyza isn't a nurse but the doc has trained her enough that she pretty much is. She even lives at the clinic. She showed up in town and was homeless but has a good heart so doc hired her. She has her secrets.

When Monster is shot and ends up staying at the clinic Kyza doesn't even look at his scars... she looks him in the eyes. Makes Monster scared what she is up to.... but also he feels a connection to her... he can see she has a dark side along with secrets. Those are what he wants and as he starts learning them he realizes she is the same as he is but she tries to hide it.

When everything comes out can he handle all that she is and what about how it might affect the club?

This is a really good book...too bad it's the last of this part of the series.

Two torn soles.

Both lost to life and love.

“Each step is calculated as I think of the many, many things I want to do to her. I tilt my head to the side and watch her eyes. I’m looking for any signs of fear that might be dancing in them, but mainly I’m looking for her darkness. I want to see it. I want her to feel like a cornered, wild animal. I want her to unleash her fury on me because since I’ve met her I knew there was something else lingering inside of her. I knew there was more to her than just being a little lost girl working for Paul. No, there is so much more that she hasn’t let me see yet and I want it all.”

Kyza and Monster both have a tormented past that still haunts them today. Will they find happy ending? You must read this dark yet thrilling 5 star book by Erin Trejo.

Monster needed to get away from his demons and transfers from No Cal and is settling in good with the Miami Chapter, he meets Kayza and instantly feels a connection, she's just like him but she's hiding from herself, it just takes Monster to help her and vice versa, there is someone from her past who wants her dead and a common enemy.

This was absolutely brilliant, i was hooked from the start and couldn't put it down even though i should have done as it was late when i finished it, but hey ... who needs sleep when you are that engrossed..

The Soulless Bastards are riding again and taking no crap from anyone.
Kyza and Monster are both driven by their demons and pasts. They both run, but end up running into each other, and the fireworks are great.
Monster is struck by the fact that Kyza isn’t scared of him or his scars. Kyza is amazed that Monster wants her and her demons.
They flirt and mess around, then find a common enemy to focus on, her father.
They and the Bastards take care of him, and recover her sister. They find a love that covers all their scars both visible and hidden. That’s all anyone can ask for in life.

Damn I knew I would love Monster's story, but not this much. It grabbed me at the first chapter and didn't let go until the end. He was such a pained soul, and Kyza is his perfect match. And holy was she a bada$$, kinda have a girl crush on her

If your looking for a darker read with plenty of wtf moments you can always count on Erin Trejo! That’s what makes her one of my favorite authors.
In Monster we have Kyza and Monster two damaged souls just trying to find a way live their lives. I loved all of their brokenness.

OMG!!! Monster Soulless Bastards MC Miami #3 by Erin Trejo is a complex emotional story about Monster who is dark, dangerous, lethal and broken. Monster struggles with demons after he was left scarred from a Meth explosion when he was a young boy. Now all people can see is his scars which has left him angry and lethal. He left his club and is starting over under Viking Pres of the Miami chapter to start new. No one knows the real reason he left, Monster was betrayed by the woman he loved and in order to protect his brothers he had to take care of her. When he is injured and left in the doctor's office to heal, he becomes infatuated with a beautiful, feisty, ballsy woman who looks pasts his scars and the monster and sees the man. Now these two will play a dangerous emotional game one that is dark and erotic until Monster makes Kyza his. Monster can tell Kyza is hiding her true self and he is trying to stop her from hiding who she really is. These two souls are alike to a great extent until Kyza finally tells Monster what she is hiding and admits that she has a dark side just like him as she has killed before and now is being hunted. Now they will form a bond that at times is violent, dark, passionate and full of promise. When Ortega, head of the cartel offers the SBMC-Miami a job, things take a turn and it is up to Monster to find out who betrayed them. He decides to take Kyza with him and allow her to do what she does best as she gets the info they seek using her skills that she used in the past. When they find out the ties Kyza may have with Ortega as well as his plans for the club. The reader is left with a brilliant ending full of suspense and drama as the SBMC-Miami go to war to end this threat, one that allows Kyza to finally get her life back as Monster and her find a love and bond like no other. Erin once again has a way of telling a story that will pull at your heart with all of the twists and turns not to mention how these two characters full of darkness and pain were made for each other and that Monster has finally found his soulmate. These sexy alpha men and the strong sassy women of the Soulless Bastards MC is a series that will take you on a Ride or Die journey! I voluntarily reviewed an advanced copy of this book.

I just finished reading this story and WOW! It's not quite as dark as Reaper and Crow's story, but definitely dark in a whole different manner. Usually, there is a damsel in distress and the guys have to take care of whatever issue because the female can come across as a weakling. Not our girl Kyza. She's fierce and very capable of handling her business---except she's in hiding. Monster has a darkness that's been with him for a long time. He moved from California to "get away from his ghosts", but they still follow him. In this book, Monster really helps Kyza embrace who she really is and to let go of trying to change it.

Talk about an emotional roller coaster, but welcome to Erin Trejo's world! Erin just loves to twist the reader in knots before letting us breathe again. It's like waiting for the next round of being punched in the face. Okay, maybe not that dramatic. However, this lady knows how to write. Bow to Erin, folks! Another fabulous story! I can't wait for the next one! I would love for Grinder to hook up with Annie. Who is Annie? Well, you've got to read the book.

This is the final book in the Soulless Bastards Miami MC, and also the end of the Soulless Bastards Series. If you haven’t read this entire series, you really owe it to yourself to do so.
Monster has all of the feels. It’s deep, dark, sad, funny, heart wrenching and full of hope and a way out of the darkness.
Monster and Kyza both have demons and dark secrets. The connection and energy between them and their demons is so strong. He knows what she needs to be free and by doing that it gives his dark soul some much needed light.
It wouldn’t be Erin Trejo if there wasn’t a huge spin and shock with this one, but what better way to close out a series.
A definite must read!! For those that have read the series, I was able to see some of Ruger in Monster! I will miss this MC, but I am very excited for what’s next.

Erin’s books always seem to be a psychological study of sorts and this one is no different. The protagonist, Monster, has been abused (which we never learn more about); damaged, both psychologically and physically, and betrayed. He’s having a difficult time dealing with women and life in general until he meets Kyza.

Kyza is hiding from either someone or herself. She seems content to be living her life being an assistant to a doctor that runs a clinic in a low income area. She meets Monster one evening in the clinic as he’s recovering from an infected gunshot wound. Her job is to make sure he gets his antibiotic and behaves. Kyza peaks Monster’s interest because he recognizes a darkness in her.

The story progresses as the relationship between Monster and Kyza develops. But it wouldn’t be an Erin Trejo novel unless death threatens one or both of the main characters.

I highly recommend Monster and would have rated it a 5 had the story been fleshed out more.

Monster – This man, He has darkness in him that was developed after he received his scars and the subsequent bullying. That darkness called to me as a reader and drew me in. Kyza nope not like the roll… lol. She has a darkness that she is trying to run from. For her the depths of that darkness scares her and she wants nothing to do with it or does she. This book is rated a 5 star as you cannot give a percent…. For me this book is a 4.95 stars .. I only say this because I feel like with this chapter of the Soulless Bastards there is still a book or two of content that I would want instead of just the 4. Also I feel that I had more questions that still needed to be answered with Monster and Kyza . This is an ARC review… would recommend this book.

I enjoyed this book so much. I could not put it down. I read this book in one day as I was so engrossed that I read all day. Both Monster and Kyze are broken with lots of zagged piece that complement each other. Monster was determined to keep Kyze and he wanted all of her not just pieces. They had a rocky start and had to fight for their HEA. This book is a must read. Has lots of steamy sex scenes but warning their are some triggers so if you know you have triggers then this might not be for you. I will gladly recommend this book to anyone whether they like MC romances or not, although, I am sure they would appreciate certain parts more than some others.I loved the ending of this book. I don’t say that about quite a few books but this one was a surprise and I loved the ending. I won’t tell you about it you will just have to read it to find out how this book ended.

He was a monster. At least he had been told that for so long he now lived up to it, not just in his looks. Scarred in more ways than one he is secure until he meets her. She doesn't see his scars. She doesn't see the monster he has been reminded of every day. They aren't sweet and innocent but that doesn't stop them from being explosive. This author loves twisting her readers into pretzels when reading her books. The guys are jerks and not nice guys, until that strong and sassy woman comes through that knocks them to their knees and has us cheering in the background. Loved being ripped up and put back together as only this author can.

Well Erin has done it again. I received Monster as an advanced copy... Wow!!! I could not put this book done. Like so many of her books I think... There is no way I will fall for the lead male. Well she proves me wrong again. So Monster is dark, scary and has a deep past. Which he struggles deeply throughout this book. Erin has written his character exsteamly well... Which makes us fall for him right off the bat with knowing his past. Then you throw in Kyza our dark mysterious girl who is running from her past... Monster falls hard. What a great chemistry these two have, what a thrilling biker ride, what a way to end this series. Fantastic Erin

I love Monster and Kyza. They were broken tortured souls searching for mates. Neither thought they would find someone that accepted them because of their past. It's beautiful when two souls find each other and become one. Even the Soulless need love at some point. This story proves that love can be found even in the darkest places. We all have a past but it's what we choose to do with it that is the key. If you want to read a book that speaks to your broken pieces then this is the one read.Thank you Erin for another great chapter of the SBMC.

Monster and Kyza are so alike. They share the darkness. While one runs from it, the other has no choice but to embrace it.

Together they are so brilliant and bring the people around them to their knees. The term powerhouse defines them. Together they have and will take on the world. The horror stories and secrets that bring them together make this such a strong read.

I know that Monster and Kyza have lived, loved before and carry visible and invisible scars but together you don't feel sorry for them, you are in appreciation of what they will do to rise above. I received an ARC for an honest and voluntarily review.

The past will always haunt you, isn't that what they say? Sometimes it just comes and take a bite out of you too. Monster, he's deep. A troubled past made him who he is. Moving from Cali to Miami, starting a new but the past is always there. Kyza, running from her own troubled past and hiding in plain site.
Colliding their lives and not letting the other hide who they are anymore, Monster and Kyza become who they were always meant to be.
Absolutely loved Monsters story, Erin just has a way to bring things out and show you the characters on a different level no matter their troubles. Loved it all the way through and the ending, hilarious!
Can't wait to see where the SBMC takes us next or is there a next? Another chapter maybe?

WoW!! What a roller coaster ride of emotion throughout. You will fall in love with the characters, from beginning to end. A story of strength and survival. I knew i'd love Monster but Damn Kyza was so kickass!! Both running from their past when they collide into each others lives. I love how they truly see each other for who they really. Not letting the other hide their true self. Monster and Kyza perfect for each other!!!

As always, Erin Trejo manages to write a book that will bring you to your knees. Monster is mt favorite out of the Miami series. He has a dark past that helps shape him into the monster he is today. Talk about a dream book boyfriend! There is just something about his darkness that has you falling n love with him. Kyza Is hiding who she’s really is to escape her past. I really related to her because at some point in everyone’s life, you try to hid who you really are, whether you want to impress someone or hide from your past. She needs someone like Monster in her life to remind her just how strong she truly is. And that plot twist that I didn’t see coming... I can’t go into details without giving anything away but WOW. I was blow away when everything was revealed. Love it!

Monster likes that Kyza can see him as a man and not the scars that are left behind but what kind of scars is Kyza hiding? Like the other Soulless Bastards MC these Miami men are all Alpha. Monster got his name early in his life when a fire from a meth lab explosion scared him. When Kyza doesn’t shy away from him and accepts Monster for who he is he thinks she is lying about her feelings. I love that Kyza doesn’t give up on Monster and he doesn’t give up on her. They embrace the ugliness in both of the and the “Monster” in them.

What to say, what to say.....freaking amazing! I loved Monster’s story. Sometimes our physical appearance is so unlike our true nature. But for Monster....his name suits him inside and out. Monster never knew love, so he lived to be the one name they called him. For Kyza, life has been privileged yet horrific. Out of sight, out of mind...right? She only hopes she can hide from her past. Until a chance meeting leads her to Monster. Both carry long held secrets, betrayal and lies. Can love enable them to trust? Can they bury their pasts and have a future? Loved this story!

I Love The Soulless Bastards!!!

Monster feels that his road name suits the real him. Physical he was burned in a meth lab when he was young and on the inside he was betrayed by so many people who were to have his back that he turned into the monster that he needed to be. He left the Soulless Bastards in CA to come to their Miami chapter to start over because he couldn’t deal with what happened with his club because of him.

Monster meets up with the shy good girl that is helping the club’s doctor, Kyza. Kyza may look sweet on the outside but she is holding onto something that no one has ever put a finger on. Monster likes that Kyza can see him as a man and not the scars that are left behind but what kind of scars is Kyza hiding? Monster knows something is there and he wants to bring it out of her because he feels that there is so much that she is holding onto. All Monster wants is to see the real Kyza and what is deep within her.

Kyza’s past has been one of survival and by doing what she had to; she did lose herself now Monster is pushing all of her buttons to bring the old Kyza back to life. Their chemistry was intense. This was a great MC read that falling for both of them because of their tenacity. As with all of the Soulless Bastards this series has always left me wanting for more.

Monster is an unorthodox retelling of Beauty and the Beast. Scars, however, come in many forms, and are not always seen with the naked eye. Sometimes scars hide in the mind and the spirit, and can only be felt by another person who holds the same pain.

Wow! I absolutely fell in love with Monster and Kyza! Both running from their pasts, never thinking anyone would accept them for who they were, but together they bring out the best in each other. They had an amazing connection, chemistry and were perfect together. This book is dark, moving, emotional, and one of survival. A fantastic way to end this series. A definite must read!
