Mistletoe & Miracles: Sweet Clean Mail Order Bride

Rate this book
Christmas is Lillian Park’s favorite time of year. Growing up in an orphanage in Ohio means she often goes without. But due to a kindly headmistress making sure the children celebrate Christmas with all the trimmings, Lillian looks forward to December more than any other time of year. But Lillian has just turned eighteen, and her time at the orphanage has come to an end. So, when an opportunity presents itself to become a mail order bride, Lillian jumps at the chance, and before long she’s headed to Montana just in time for Christmas. James Blackwell is done living a lonely life on his ranch. He wants a wife, plain and simple. His family have been through terrible heartache in recent times, and so he decides to send off for a bride who might bring a little joy back into their lives. But being that his mother despises the idea of him marrying a complete stranger, and being that she doesn’t believe in Christmas – the Blackwell’s don’t celebrate the holidays, no presents, no tree, no mistletoe – can James and his new bride find happiness when they come from such different worlds? Is Lillian prepared to give up the one thing she loves the most? Or will it take a Christmas miracle to be welcomed into his family?
