I couldn't wait to get my hands on Only Ever You after the way book 1 ended. This is book 2 in the series and is not a standalone. It should only be read after A Little Like Destiny.

Honestly, I'm really conflicted on how to write this review.
description

On the one hand, I was totally entertained and couldn't turn the pages fast enough to find out what happened next between Reese, Brian, and Mark. But on the other hand, I was dismayed by the behavior of our characters and all the lies and deceit. I think some readers will have a hard time getting past the first chapter depending on how they feel about . Personally, I prefer it to not occur, but it's also not a deal breaker for me if it does. No one is perfect and I understand that mistakes happen. It does make it harder for me to connect to the characters and believe in their relationship though, when something so fundamental as trust is disregarded/manipulated. Even the tender and sweet moments are tarnished a bit because you're not really sure if you should be rooting for this or not.

I'm not going to lie, I was not a big fan of Reese or Mark this time around no matter how much I want them to get a happily every after. I don't deny that they have a strong physical attraction and connection, but I wanted more from them besides their hormones. I enjoyed seeing them together as well as Mark's more vulnerable side (swoon, during the private event in LA!), but it always seemed to be overshadowed by sex. Don't get me wrong, I love sexy times as much as the next person, but I needed to feel them connect on a deeper level.

Like book 1, Only Ever You also ends with a cliffhanger. Thankfully the next book Clean Break is being released in October, so the wait to find out what happened isn't long!

Oh My gosh this book was Amazing! These characters have me invested in them. This book has you feeling all sorts of ways!. It was so good! You can feel what Reese feels. Its like these characters are real you can feel the guilt and turmoil but also the love and passion Reese, Mark and Brian feel. This book was so freaking good!

In book one Reese couldn’t get Mark out of her head and now she can’t get Brian out of her head. No matter which way she goes she is always hurting someone. She has to go with her heart it hurts too much to fight the feelings she has. So while Brian’s away Mark swoops in to take back his girl. Mark and Reese are so cute and hot together. They gave me all the feels. She is in love with Mark but she still loves Brian just not in the same way.

“Is it possible to be on love with two people? The love I have for Brian is pure, sweet, solid. He certainly comes with flaws, but he’s a good man who treats me well”-Reese

This book was so good I Loved it. Mark and Reese were amazing I love them so much! The chemistry and passion they share is undeniable. This book had so many moments that touched my heart.

“I needed to tell you in person that you’re my every waking thought. You’re the air I breathe. You’re somehow in my blood, a venom infecting my body”-Mark

Reese is in Love with Mark. He is the one she wants, but Brian is everything she needs and he would never hurt her. She has to decide which is the best choose with head or heart.

I am totally and completely in love with Mark. I just want to steal him from Reese. I would also happily take Brian off her hands. Lisa did an amazing job with making you fall in love with these characters. This book was so amazing I am so in love with it! This ending was worse than book one it ripped my heart out. I love these characters and I need to know whats going to happen. Seriously you guys need to read this series!!

P.S. I am so in love with the way the titles fit into the books is so wonderful!COMING SOON!!!

Only Ever You picks up RIGHT where A Little Like Destiny drops of and you KNOW exactly where it dropped off ***wiggles eyes brows*** I couldn't WAIT to get my hands on this book because again, THAT. CLIFFHANGER. YA'LL. Reese and Mark decide to give their relationship a go which I was so excited about because I really wanted that for them. Their chemistry is off the charts and I love them together. Reese gets submerged into Mark's rock star world and everything that comes with it. We get to know the band more and the band's "wives club."

The passion between Reese and Mark is OFF THE CHARTS and I really believe he is the right choice for for her. Oh wait? **taps chin** did I forget to mention that while she's with Mark, her boyfriend Brian, you know? MARK's BROTHER is on an extended business trip and has no clue. While I can see why this would upset some I guess I'm morally loose (book wise lol) because it didn't bother me. Know why? I think there's something dark looming on the horizon when it comes to Brian. I could be completely wrong but I feel it. Something just beneath the surface and I think we'll find out what soon.

Unfortunately tragedy strikes bringing the Fox family together and Reese needs to make a choice which brother she's going to be there for. Mark? Brian? Both? If so. How? It's an impossible decision one I think Reese honestly makes more difficult than it needs to be at times but a decision has to be made. Then betrayal. Utter betrayal. Heart break and confusion. Reese questions everything she thought she knew makes a hard decision. But is it too late?

I NEED book 3, like NOW.....so happy I won't have to wait too long!

"I want to live inside this feeling for the rest of my life."

This quote most accurately describes how I feel about this book. It was just..... everything.

'Only Ever You' picks up right where book #1 left off, which is a crazy cliffhanger. Reese must choose between 2 brothers... she either follows her head or her heart. She lets her guard down a little, which only makes everything so much more difficult. Especially when something happens making both brothers need her comfort. Who will she choose??

This book (and this series) has all the things I love about romance books. It'll make you feel a little uncomfortable, but you'll love every moment of it. It's a love triangle, but it's done in a way that blurs lines. Lisa Suzanne pulled all the stops with 'Only Ever You'. I don't want to give anything away, but you get A LOT more of Mark. It didn't want this one to end. It does end in a crazy cliffhanger, but it just makes my anticipation for book 3 that much higher.

This is book 2 of a 3 book series. Do not read this one if you haven't already read book #1.

Only Ever You is the second book in the A Little Like Destiny series. After the WOW cliffhanger of book one, I couldn't wait to read this one. I was not disappointed.

"Every feeling of passion and desire and possibly love flows between us like a beam of light pulling us together. His face is shadowed, and I can’t see the color of his eyes, but I can still see the need there."

In Only Ever You, Reese has to choose between two loves. A steady, dependable and reliable love to build a future she can count on. Or a wild, unpredictable but powerful once in a lifetime kind of love. But just when she thinks she has made that choice, life throws a curveball and Reese has to choose who needs her more not who she needs.

"Life hands us so many choices."...
"But some choices are so difficult that no amount of musing, rumination, gut instinct, or meditation can help puzzle out the right answer. For me, that sort of choice centers on two people who just happen to be brothers."

Author Lisa Suzanne weaves such an enthralling, complicated and twisty tale of love, life and choices. I was pulled into the story and just became addicted to the drama and angst! I can't wait to read more and discover where this author is going to take me in book three.
4.5 Stars!!

Lisa Suzanne does it AGAIN! AHHH I am still so confused and twisted as to who I want Reese to pick and I would think that after TWO rather long books I would have a clue as to who will end up together, but I am just as clueless!

description

I am completely in shock that Lisa Suzanne went there, I mean she went there in this love triangle! Some readers may have some trouble with the storyline - to each their own - with that said, I LOVED the story!

I devoured this book on a long flight which was perfect because I did NOT want to put it down! Be prepared to drop ALL Adulting responsibilities while reading this book...

description

"I love both men, and I don't want to hurt either of them."

I LOVE LOVE LOVED finally getting to see Mark and Reese together and they share so many swoon worthy moments that gave me all the feels! Reese drove me nuts at the end of the book with her indecisive decision making process, but luckily she has a surprise outsider/insider opinion to help guide her heart and brain to make the 'right choice'.

description

I consumed this book, and it has consumed me where I am patiently waiting for Book 3, Clean Break, out this October! Lisa Suzanne has me on this epic emotional, and spellbinding roller coaster that I cannot wait to see where she takes me next!

O.M.G!!! This book provided me with the worst kind of anticipatory hangover… ever. I knew going in that there would be no conclusion to the story, it’s part 2 of at least 3 books, and a warning for those that don’t know already, part 1 A Little Like Destiny has to be read before this one, you can’t jump in blind as you’ll have no idea of the plot lines. Hopefully the story will be resolved at the end of part 3. Please let there only be 3. None of us fans can take the suspense longer than that.
Okay, just kidding, if the story is going that way… well. Lol
But, seriously, Lisa, don’t do it to us, for the love of all things mighty.
I have to say I spent most of the story trying to figure out Lisa’s angle for the next book. This mixed up love triangle needs to get sorted. I hated to see Reese so torn between these 2 brothers, it should be easy, simple for her to make a decision and stick to it, but she’s struggling. I love Mark, I’m not gonna lie and say I’m rooting for him. In part 1 it was mostly Brain but having read part 2, it’s easy to see he is definitely up to something. Sometimes, I got the feeling that he’d hidden cameras all about Mark’s apartment. I could just imagine him watching while his brother and Reese made out. Just what was he doing with that Kelsey bitch while he was away ‘on business’ with her?
This book is choke full of almost every emotion possible. From anger and heartache to lovey-doevy swoon worthy moments, plus the smexy times, well, they’re just too hot. Roll on October 24th so we can be put out of our misery with the release of Clean Break.

If you are reading this I hope you have read 'A Little Like Destiny' because this book is a must read after you've survived that one.

'Only Ever You' picks up right where we left off. I'm not going to lie as a moral person I was surprised at the things happening but my morals for books must be lower because I was so happy at the things transpiring between Reese and Mark. I've been #TeamMark from day one of chapter one. But this book took my heart through the ringer and after that last chapter I am not okay.

During this book I found myself wanting to either do the happy dance with Reese or shake her. Lol 😂 I love this book and can't wait to see what happens next.

Reese Brady is caught between a rock star and a hard place. While her head is telling her that she should stay with Brian, her heart and her body are screaming for his brother, Mark.

Now all three of them are on a collision course with heartbreak. From Las Vegas to Los Angeles and then finally to the Midwest, their delicate house of cards is destined to fall – and no one is going to claim the victory.

“The light hits your eyes, a part of me dies. A little like destiny.” He sings the words I’ve only allowed myself to listen to once before, and I’m struck with the incredibly surreal fact that Mark Ashton is singing to me while I stand in his kitchen.
“It’s just for one night, but it feels too right.”
My eyes fill with tears. “Stop it, Mark.”
He ignores me. “I can’t let it go, it’s starting to show.”
“Those words could be about anybody,” I say bitterly.
He shakes his head. “I finished the lyrics,” he says softly. “And I’m not just throwing lines at you.” He squeezes his eyes shut tight like he’s in pain then rubs his forehead.
“Find someone else, then,” I say, desperately fighting every urge I have to collapse into his arms. “Write a song about someone else.”
“I can’t. It’s you. Only ever you.”

Only Ever You is a nonstop bullet train ride that you just know is going to fly off the tracks at any moment but you can’t help but enjoy the ride!  Every bad decision, every betrayal and every white lie only adds to the experience and while it once again ends with a shocking cliffhanger – I simply can’t wait to see who is left standing when it's finally over...

First things first, this is not a standalone you must read A Little Like Destiny first as this book picks up straight from the cliffhanger left at the end of it. Secondly this does end in a cliffhanger that will have you jaw hitting the floor and counting down the next 30days waiting for the next book to come out but its totally worth it!

When I started these books and realised it was about a love triangle I instantly knew which guy I was rooting for and this book did not alter my view, in fact it cemented it. I am interested to see if my theories are correct and the guy I want does in fact get the girl.

In this book you see more of the dynamics of these 2 brothers and see that there has been competition between them most of their lives. What a decision to make as to whether to choose the hot sexy rocker Mark, living the crazy life or the gorgeous Brian, living a more stable life? Just when Reese has reached a decision and thinks shes figured it all out, life throws them a curve ball leaving her questioning everything she thought she had sorted in her head.

I know in real life I would be disgusted with Reese going back and forth between 2 men, let alone brothers but I could not devour this book fast enough! I wasn't putting it down until I had finished and its a good job my husband works nights so he cant moan that I'm up till early hours reading.

Roll on October so I can see what happens after that OMG cliffhanger!!

Lisa Suzanne has become one of my favorite author's to read!

Her books totally leave me breathless, high and completely sated once I'm done reading them.

I just fall in love with her characters as much as the storyline.

This series is definitely a must read!

I am broken just like Reese is trying to decide which brother she should be with. She loves them both but her love is always stronger for one more than the other. But is that enough?

Reese has to make a decision but this is a crucial time for her to decide if she wants or is willing to break her boyfriend's heart to be with the other one.

Life has a funny way of throwing these curve balls at you when you least expect them. My thing is, will she be hated or will she be loved for her courage and determination to leave one brother to be with the other? Will she be making the right choice or eventually end up regretting it?

ARGHHHHH, I'm so in love with this series so far and can't wait to get the conclusion because I need to know who will Reese pick!

I personally can't chose because they both have their different qualities but just the fact of the matter is that they're both brothers and good looking on top of that (boy that sure is a hard one to choose)!

5 absolutely stars!!

Only Ever You picks up exactly where A Little Like Destiny left off, it's hot, stressful and intense!

"He's leaving. He's leaving because he has to leave. This is his bed in his house, but it's not. It's his brother's bed. His brother's room. His brother's girlfriend."

Reese has lots of choices to make this book, does she go to Germany with her boyfriend? Does she stay in town with her boyfriend's brother that she is passionately in love with, even though she loves his brother too? Just thinking about this makes my heart palpitate. So, so much happens in this story! Mark will not go down without a fight! He is determined to have the woman that he found first. Brian is once again getting called into work late at night and not putting her first.

"It's exactly what I want. It's right. It's pure. It's magic. It's perfect."

And it seems like things will be perfect until one moment flips their world upside down once again. Mark, Brian and Reese are thrown into an almost impossible situation. And it's awkward AF! This is where you are going to be angry and want to throw your kindle, or since the final story is about to released, you one click that faster than you can say Only Ever You.

"Someone's going to get left behind. Someone's going to lose. Someone's going to end up with a broken heart. I'm just terrified that the someone is going to be me."

Once you start Only Ever You, you won't be able to put it down and then you will be left begging for more, pick it up TODAY!

What the what????

Really, really good but my heart is pounding out of my chest right now with the events of this 2nd book in this confusing and emotional love triangle. What a messy, heartbreaking rollercoaster, all the way around and just when you think you MIGHT know what's going to happen, you just don't! There needs to be some serious sense slapping here and there, you'll find out who. The ending is O.M.G., a killer. Please just give me 'destiny'...can anything be resolved here without pieces of broken hearts strewn everywhere? Not sure how L.S. is going to make that happen, but I'm sticking with her and going to find out! I have to get to the next book right now, hope things end the way I want them to and I get the happy ending that I am wishing for! Oh, my heart!

So, so good! There's so many aspects in this story that just hook you in, you won't want to stop reading. This being the second one we know we have to wait for the conclusion, but the anticipation on what might happen is going to make us crazy! My mind is made up on who I want the hea to be with, and it'll be a wild and angsty ride. But you'll love every second of it! There were a lot of parts where I just wanted to shake the characters to make up their mind, but I know we have to wait and with that ending, it's going to be a long month!
Do yourself a favor, go read book one and then this one so you can suffer along with those who have read it and be ready for the conclusion!

This books picks right up where they first one ends...thank goodness! And not too far into the story I had to take a break because Reese almost gets caught in a compromising situation. I loudly exclaimed "oh damn!" and my mom asked me what was wrong, lol. Luckily, she knows I get lost in the world created by the authors. Believe me, Lisa has created quite a world with these books. I am actually glad she ended it where she did, because I don't know I could have taken anymore. There is another part of the story coming out in October. Hang on to your britches, ladies, this is quite a ride.

#MUSTread Series
COLD HARD TRUTH - an AMAZING series
I'm actually reading book 2, Only Ever You, right now FOR THE SECOND TIME!
(I know - I'm a #luckylady ;-) )
BUT let me tell you, this series is:
RIVETING, an EMOTIONAL TUG-A-WAR, CHEATING (and yes, Lisa Suzanne has brought me to the point where I'm loving this - yep I'm that reader that has called her out on it before), BROTHERS,
H.O.T. Rockstar (🔥 :-o M G 🔥), SECRETS, my head is spinning, I'm not sure which way is up or down but I'm LOVING it!

Let me also just go on record by stating the obvious.. Lisa Suzanne shall now be referred to as Lisa, the lady that let's me hanging, Suzanne...
are you kidding me right now.. #marketinggenius.. Who wouldn't be waiting to pick up book 3.. I mean we HAVE to know what happens next, Right?! We still need more details to figure out all these twists and turns.. I'm so not ready to get off this emotional roller coaster! Nope I'm hopping right back in line for another ride! Who's with me?

This bk 2 in A Little Like Destiny series. Reese is now stuck with a decision pick fantasy or stability. Her heart wants Mark, but isn't sure if he can commit or be the man she needs, Brian is set on what he wants and is the smart pick, but things aren't always as they seem. Mark knows he should back off and let Brian have his happy ever after, but it's not easy and he knows Brian better than anyone. What will Reese do when the truth is revealed? Team Mark

I had been dying for this book! As soon as I saw It in my kindle I started reading it. It did not disappoint.
I swore I wouldn't pick a side, Mark and Brian are both amazing. But deep down who was I kidding I picked one and as I read on I was happy for one brother and sad for the other. You could feel the emotional distress Reese was under. Even though she wanted one more than the other she did love them both. Knowing the brothers have this past, even I started questioning, is this a game between brothers? I never expected this ending, (my jaw hit the floor). I kept trying to get more pages sliding my finger across my kindle. So I've decided I'm #TeamReese
and I'm anxiously waiting for book 3 to see how this will all play out. Lisa Suzanne you're awesome, I can't get enough of this story.

Warning: make sure you have a glass of wine while reading this book. This book had it all. Hot sex scenes, a woman torn between two men, decisions that need to be made and so many emotions the reader is left in awe. So many times during this story I wanted to slap Reese and tell her to pick who she was going to be with. Brian seems to have it all together, but I am just waiting for him to crack and Mark who is so needy I just want to hug him. Holy crap and then you are left with a cliffhanger. I need answers NOW!

5+++ Stars Yaaaawn! That’s what this book did to me because I stayed until the very early morning hours reading this because there was no way I was putting this book down. I am now sleep deprived and have one heck of a book hangover but it was worth every minute. First of all it is not a standalone so make sure you grab A Little Like Destiny and read it first; both of these books are amazing. Secondly, yes, this is another cliffhanger with the third book coming out in October. That is giving me enough time to change my mind a hundred times as to who should be with whom and is there really a “bad” guy in the mix.

Decisions, decisions. We have business man Brian Fox who we are not sure of is all above board, his big brother Mark Ashton who is the super-hot rocker truly living the rock star with all the perks and then Reese the school teacher whose heart has to feel like a pinball between these two very competitive brothers. Do you chose the more stable life with Brian or follow your heart to live the crazy life with a rocker. About the time Reese thinks she has this all figured out and is willing to go out on a limb and do what she really believes in…something happens that throws these three into a tailspin. This is a first rate book that made me laugh, cry, be pis*ed off and everything in between. You will not be disappointed! I highly recommend this series.

I received this book as an ARC for a freely given and honest review.

"I can't. It's you. Only ever you."

Christ on a cracker...someone hold me. Well written cliffhangers are so fabulously evil.
When they rip your heart out and smash it into pieces and you are still begging for more, the author has done their job. I still don't even know who I want to come out victorious on the other side. I usually can pick a side easily, but this time just when I think I know, I question myself.

Can there be a true winner?
Who's heart will be shattered?
I cannot even begin to lay all of my feelings out there because it would ruin the angst, but trust me when I say that Lisa Suzanne has NAILED the love triangle.

This is The 2nd book of the series & all I can say is wow! These two books have completely consumed me! It picks up right where the first book left off. Once again, Lisa has sucked me into her stories & I have fallen in love with the characters & their world! In the beginning, I was definitely Team Brian, but when I saw a different side of Mark, I became Team Mark! I can definitely relate to Reese in certain situations! I couldn't put this book down! I had to know what was gonna happen next! Reese had one heck of a summer! Oh to be Reese for a day! That ending though! omg! wow! so many thoughts & feelings about that ending! You'll just have to read to find out!! Two hot men who happen to be brothers; One a sexy but sweet Rockstar, The Other a sexy businessman! This series now holds a special place in my heart! I Love it so much! It makes my heart happy! Can't wait to see how this series ends!

Warning!!! Do not read this review unless you have read book one, A Little Like Destiny and then this book, Only Ever you. These books must be read in order so you are aware. Reese may get a Clean Break in the final book to be released in October 2017, while we sit here on a rooftop waiting with our mouths open for us to get our hands on the BIGGEST decision of 2017. Uhhh, I think this cliffy was worse than the first one! HOLY Crap a BOMB is going to drop and I cannot wait to get my hands on the final installment. Can’t we pretend that the end of October is here now, I mean we are at the almost end of September. September, October they are both Fall months, right??? Haha
Wowzer, the passion between Mark and Reese is HAWTER than ever. This book picked up right where book one left off and you are left wanting to read without interruptions. You get the right amount of feelings reading this story. One minute you are happy, sad and then angry and the emotions start all over again. I will say that not all will love this series, but if you love reading love triangles, like me than this one is for you. Just remember that while cheating is wrong, most of us may have been there and if we haven’t that it occurs in real life so we get to see a side of how others are affected by this type of event.
Reese or Lisa (author) you are torturing us with the biggest decision that will break one of the Fox Men. Oh, you will break some readers hearts too, but I am hoping my man of choice is the correct one. Reese, a school teacher is on Summer Break and has her heart and mind confused. She loves one brother in her heart (Mark) and in her mind, she should be with the other brother (Brian). Choosing the safe one is not always the best decision. Why settle when you could be with the one that rocks your world?!
Brian as I said in book one, you are definitely hiding something. I get that there are workaholics out there, but something isn’t sitting right with me. I’m not sure if it is work you are hiding behind or that you are not over your ex, but you don’t give Reese that attention that she deserves. I still think that whole flight thing was a decoy. OK, I get that what she is doing is not something you deserve either; however, I will figure out the mystery of you. For being competitive and caring- “letting her come first” you really don’t think of what Reese wants when it comes to settling down and where to live.
Mark, YES, we finally get the VIP package of who you are and see how the band functions. We also see more of your childhood between you and Brian. You two are more alike than you think. Can I just say that you killed me at “Sevens and White Sox”? Only if you read the book, will you know the part I am speaking of and that is all I will say as to not state any spoilers. I loved the M & G even though not all took to Reese. Why do I feel like someone in that area gave a clue to Brian? Your softer side and the feelings you hide are done so well. You can call me with “Destiny” anytime Reese isn’t around. OK, yes, I could only hope and know that Reese is his “ONE” even if she doesn’t select you. Breaks my heart if not.
Just when Reese thinks she knows what needs to happen and to speak the truth to Brian a family issue arises. OK, never did I expect this though. My heart already hurt and you had to go and hurt it some more. Some family members are seeing things that we are seeing and I say chose the “LEGOS” not the “MATCHBOX”. Haha. This is going to be one hard family to see that the final decision is for the best even if one gets hurt. Again, that ending has you swiping and hoping more pages will magically appear even though we know we must wait for Clean Break. This is one emotional rollercoaster and all I keep thinking with that ending is, “What does the Fox say?” Yes, I went there couldn’t help it. You ALL know we want to know what both Foxes say when the truth is revealed. Once again, Lisa you knocked this book out of the park!

5 ROCK stars! Be prepared for a read that will drain you. A love triangle you must not miss.

I don’t know how to start my review I am all messed up in a pretty good way. After reading “Only ever you” I am drained and confused. I start to understand that the thing about triangle loves is quite complicated. It is like all your energy is drained.

The difficulties about loving two men at the same time are consuming. I have a feeling that Lisa Suzanne is playing with my mind because the first book in the series “A Little Like Destiny” left me with a big cliff-hanger. I was so desperate to read more about the triangle formed by Reese, Mark and Brian. I wanted and still want to know who Reese will chose Mark or Ryan. To choose one of the Fox brothers is the big deal. If you were Reese who will you choose: A hot rock star or a cocky business man? Do no answer this question until you finish reading “Only ever you”.

I literally devoured this book. As the first book, this one carries on with an original plot. The evolution of the characters is a show you do not want to miss. Decisions will be made and hearts will be broken.

Reese is torn between two lovers but her heart only wants one. I can't judge her because if I were her I will be tormented and guilt will eat me complete. There is not right thing to do just to be honest. Honesty is the key. (Whispers *please Reese pick Mark*)

“I can’t be a pawn in the game between the two of you.”

What can you do when something that is wrong feels so good? Betraying your boyfriend with other man. That should mean something. When you love sincerely you do not cheat. You only have eyes for your lover. That makes me think that Reese doesn't love Brian as much as she loves Mark.

“I needed to tell you in person that you’re my every waking thought. You’re the air I breathe. You’re somehow in my blood, a venom infecting my body… I can’t stay away.”

I feel like something is missing here and I am sure we will discover it in the next book of the series. I am a confessed member of team Mark. Who does not fall for sexy rock stars? Sorry girls I am a weak woman.

“He fills me completely. He’s not just filling my body with his—my heart is full. My mind is full. My limbs are weightless because we’re one now, and for the first time in my life, I’m positive that no other connection could ever be this powerful. No one else has ever loved like this.”

Reese is quite confused about her feelings. In one hand she has her first crush, a rock star love. One night was enough to feel the deep connection with Mark. In the other she has a secure port, Brian. Who to choose?

Falling deep for one and not wanting to break the other’s heart. To protect one and to hurt the other. Fate will chose for Reese. She will play with fire and she will be burn.

“Karma is going to come back and get me, I just know it. I don’t deserve happiness. I don’t deserve Mark or Brian. Yet here I am.”

As I said before this book drained me because it has many elements that make it emotional and witty. These characters have stolen a piece of me. I can't wait to know how it will end. Cliff-hanger alert!

“We’ve both made mistakes, but we can leave those mistakes behind us and move forward. Together.”

I highly recommend you this book. I urge you to start the series, you won't be disappointed. Lisa Suzanne never disappoints her reader. She always put her hearth in her writing. This time she delivers a mind blowing triangle love. Something that is unusual and original.

THIS IS NOT A STANDALONE!!! Stop here, and go read A Little Like Destiny first. Don't read my review if you don't want spoilers from book 1.

First, I'm loving this emotionally charged tale and looking forward to it's conclusion. I have many thoughts on Mark and Brian's sibling rivalry. But I won't get into that here. I don't want to spoil anything! ;)

Full disclosure...this book has cheating and lots of angst. I’m usually not a fan and have a difficult time dealing with similar story lines. I have to say, however, that this one was tolerable for the fact that Reese wasn't jumping back and forth between Mark and Brian. She may have done so in the beginning, but once she solidified her feelings, she started to pull back. I'm not saying that any of that is okay, just that I handled it better than usual.

I had some seriously conflicted feelings when it came to this book. I loved book 1 and was excited to find out what happened with Reese and these brothers. However, I wasn't satisfied with the progression, or lack there of, of Reese's love life. I felt like she made all the wrong choices every step of the way. She was too immature in her actions and how she handled her decisions. I wanted her to own her feelings and listen to all the people trying to give her advice. Don't get me wrong, I understood her desire to cling so tightly to the future that Brian offered, but I had hoped she would distance herself from them both to sort out her feelings rather than keep them snared.

While I struggled with whom I would choose for Reese in book 1, it was crystal clear that her heart and soul belonged to Mark. But how could she give up the safe and secure option and believe that the uber-famous, sex god and rock star, Mark Ashton, would want a life-long commitment with her? What made it more difficult for Reese and myself was that they spent very little time together connecting emotionally. Reese and Mark needed better communication between them, time to get to know one another beyond the physical chemistry, and imagine the possibilities.

Mark and Reese did everything wrong in my opinion when it came to Brian. First off, Reese should have been honest with Brian about what happened with Mark from the moment she was clued into the fact that they were brothers. Second, didn't Reese consider how uncomfortable and painful it would be to spend her life with her conciliation prize if things didn't work out with Mark? Or that the longer she strung Brian along the more painful it would be for him? Then there was the potential for Mark to be hurt if she chose Brian. Reese was definitely in a tenuous position. And the fact that she had to choose between these two men made me believe she had resolved herself to the fact that she would never find someone else to love if she didn't have one of the Fox brothers. Lastly, she should have walked away from Mark until she had an opportunity to settle things with Brian. I thought she was completely nutzo for being in public with Mark. Hello, paparazzi?

Now there's Brian, the seemingly innocent and cuckolded brother/boyfriend. I say it like that because Brian seemed a little sketchy to me in this book. Things weren’t adding up with him. Having been burned by Mark before, Brian willingly and repeatedly threw Reese and Mark together after constantly voicing his concerns. He also did a pretty great job of playing the victim and wounded party all his life. I couldn't decide if he was just paranoid and insecure or had more devious intentions. I guess we'll find out what's what in book 3.

I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Readers Copy of this book.

If you haven’t read A Little Like Destiny don’t read any further, Only Ever You is a direct continuation of book one. You must read in order. This is not a suggestion, it is completely necessary!

Lisa Suzanne hooked her claws in and yanked me into this messy love triangle in the first book and sunk the claws in further with book two. A rockstar, a business tycoon, and a school teacher, sounds like the beginning of joke, but these characters and the situation they find themselves in is anything but a joke.

Reese is dating Brian, but she can’t stop thinking about his brother, Mark. She knows he’s no good for her and that the safe choice, the right choice, is to pursue her relationship with Brian. Her heart and her mind are at odds. She can’t seem to choose between them.

“ He comes in for a hug, and I wrap my arms around him, totally conflicted about everything—my feelings, which man I love, whether I love either…whether I love both. “ –Reese

Every time Reese is ready to make her choice life gets in the way and she begins to rethink what she wants. It’s a family emergency that finally puts her feelings in perspective, but in a hospital waiting room is not the right time to break someone’s heart. Grief can bring reflection, but it can also bring deflection. She’s ready to move forward with the man she loves, but is he? And is he still the right choice?

“ Someone’s going to get left behind. Someone’s going to lose. Someone’s going to end up with a broken heart. I’m just terrified that the someone is going to be me. “ –Reese

I am so in love with this series! I should’ve had this review written days ago when I finished reading, but I needed time to think about exactly what I wanted to say……and all I have is WOW! I am even more torn than before over which brother I think Reese should be with. I still haven’t figured out what Brian’s hiding, but I think I have a pretty good idea, and no, I won't say. Read the book! Mark is so complex and selfless, so unlike how the stereotypical rockstar character is defined.

He says sweet lyrical words one minute and the next “It was right AF.” ( That line totally shouldn’t be sexy, but it is, it so is.) Brian, well he is the perfect boyfriend, in theory. He wants the house and marriage, the long haul. Mark and Brian seem like complete opposites, but I am beginning to see similarities, and I think that is where their competitiveness comes from. Poor Reese! This book ends on a cliffhanger even more intense than book one. I think I know what’s going on and Reese is going to be heartbroken beyond repair. I want to smack both guys upside the head and knock some sense into them. I want to know what happens next so bad! I feel like an addict waiting on my fix and Lisa Suzanne is my dealer!

FIVE stars all the way!

Oh my word! I thought Lisa Suzanne was the queen of cliffhangers when she gave me one I could handle in the first book. With this book she proved she was the queen in the sense of Oh My Goodness I need to know what happens immediately. I saw some people who read their arcs right away and were blown away so I figured since the first book was a cliffhanger I could handle I'd better hold off until the very last second to start this one, so I did. I am so glad I waited because what is going to happen I need to know! Lisa Suzanne is a master of deception, she keeps you guessing; who will Reese choose, who is the guy just using her to get back at the other brother, who should she love? We got a big look at Mark and Reese in this book and I have to say I still think (this gives nothing away don't worry) that Brian is the bad guy. If you haven't read book one yet do not read this part:

He found Reese coming out of his brother's apartment crying, he knows his brothers reputation, Mark slept with his other girlfriend; why not rub it in marks face that he slept with someone Mark slept with. Why not bring her over every chance he gets. I wouldn't be surprised if his "work meetings" were him sleeping with someone else. Brian thinks he deserves the world handed to him, and I can see it wouldn't be above him to use Reese. This book just made me wonder even more. I was convinced that Mark was the good guy all along but this book just solidified that for me. I want Reese and Mark to get their happily ever after but I'm so worried that Brian has everyone convinced he's the good guy that it won't happen. He'll rip them apart or keep her for himself. Reese messed up big time at the end of the first book by sleeping with Mark, I know she's confused and doesn't know what her heart wants, but at the same time to not even tell Brian they slept together before her and Brian got together really bothers me. I feel like had she shared that immediately her choice would have been a lot more clear. I feel like Reese and Mark are meant to be because they both just want to be happy yet they want to protect everyone else involved, but by hiding their love (even from each other) they aren't doing anyone any good. This book honestly raised so many more questions and made me want smack Reese around a little bit. The last few pages just made me so mad. Like her real feelings are so obvious and I hate that instead of being like well this is how I really feel she buried it and then made a stupid decision stupidly. xD if you can't tell this book made me feel and think a lot. I absolutely loved it and you need to read it immediately.
