Informative and Timely
At a time when the cancerous and unscriptural teachings and practices of Bethel Church of Redding are infiltrating the church at a very alarming rate a book like this one is greatly needed, especially among young people.
The author refutes these teachings and practices with scripture at every turn and shows how and why Bill Johnson and Kris Vallotin are false teachers and how the music of Jesus Culture helps to spread the wrong message and make it that much more popular.
Bethel Redding poses a genuine threat to the church at large and so many Christians are unaware of this and unaware of the New Age influences within Bethel and the church's Supernatural School of Ministry. Books like this not only sound the alarm but equip believers with truth. I very highly recommend this book.

Well documented, especially with the videos available on their website. This helped confirm for me that what is coming out of Bethel Church, overall, is not biblical and not from God. I was already troubled by many of the topics covered here, including: the Passion Translation, the teaching of Bill Johnson and others, the Bethel School of Supernatural Ministry, Sozo. I appreciated learning some of the historical information surrounding Bethel. However, I felt they were primarily writing to people active in the NAR or Bethel as an audience and not to a wider body of believers. Worth reading if you want to know more about the NAR or Bethel Church.

An excellent book exposing the deceit of the New Apostolic Reformation (NAR) and New Age practices which are entering our churches these days, lead primarily by Beth Church in Redding, CA.

A great book - highly recommended.
PROS
+ Great investigation. The book shows a much more dramatic picture than assumed.
+ Very important discernment on Jesus Culture & Bethel Music:
"We have heard it said that Jesus Culture is the 'gateway drug to the supernatural'. Another has described Jesus Culture music as 'Hansel and Gretel's crumbs' that is used by Bethel as a way to lure and indoctrinate unsuspecting people, especially youth, into the New Apostolic Reformation's cesspool of deception."
CONS
- Endorsement of Todd Friel, who is a Calvinist.
- Some outdated links, even in the Kindle book.
