It's like the whole world has ignited in flame and hate.
One year after her world was destroyed by a deranged serial killer, Veronica Taylor has built herself a quiet, new life.
But she has not moved on.
When the murderer begins stalking her again, Veronica decides to stop running away. With the help of Detective Ben Becker, she returns to the police force and reunites with old friends. As they race to identify the killer, Veronica is reminded of the difference between living and surviving.
Will Veronica have a chance to move forward with her life?
Will they find the killer before he disappears again?
Wasn't sure whether to give this a 3 or 4 star rating. The proofreading is very bad, but I enjoyed the story. It was very well plotted out. Not sure if this is a series, but I believe it could make for a great one. Ben and Veronica have been through hell this last year, especially Veronica. The serial killer they were hunting a year ago has resurfaced again. It will take everything they have to find him and they all get the shock of their lives when his identity is revealed. If you can get past the bad grammar I think you will enjoy this book. I read it in one setting!
Every page was fantastic! The characters, scene, and emotional phrase was extremely well written. I really felt the emotions were well written as well.A fantastic novel that should be read by all.
The writing felt flat, and I tried a few times but couldn't get into the characters or story. Thus, I gave up after a chapter or two. Maybe it picks up later, but I wasn't willing to invest any more time....
