This series cracks me up so bad, if only for Ace and Wilder. But it’s more than that. The giggles you get from what they all get up to in that store is priceless. From embarrassment, to shock, to downright laughs, it’s a hoot and I have enjoyed this series so much.
This one was just a cute. Jayce is finally marrying the woman of his dreams and his brother, Cole, and best friend, Miles, are doing the bachelor party and helping him finish up his part of the wedding plans. But first the air between Miles and Cole has to be cleared. All Cole remembers of Miles was how he was teased unmercilessly, and Miles just remembers not being able to think straight for the crush he had on Cole. But once the air is cleared, it’s a whole different ball game. They made it fun by shopping for toys for Jayce’s party at Ace’s Wild, but Cole adds a little spice that sets them both on edge. Now that the air has been cleared, will they finally act on what they’ve been feeling or let it slide being as they are Jayce’s bro and best friend?
It’s awkward trying to come to terms with the fact you are gay. Especially when your home life sucks big time. You feel like you have no support system to back you. Thankfully, Miles had Jayce and his family. They took Miles in like he was one of their own. But when Miles realized he was crushing on Cole, it all came out wrong and he bullied the kid instead of dealing with what his problem was. Not fair to Cole at all and he had to make up for it. But it was the crushing on Cole that blew his mind. Cole had no clue. But what I loved about it even more, was Cole accepted it and let it go. Once he understood, he forgave. He didn’t hold a grudge and found that in Miles, he had a friend and possibly something more. Which was something that surprised them both. But it was beautiful. What they had developing was so sweet and amazing. And it almost made it a shame that it took so long to get to where they are now.
If you guys haven’t been reading this series, you are seriously missing out. I love this series. I love Ace and Wilder and everyone they come in contact with. It’s like a huge family. And it’s just great.

Chiropractor, Cole, 20s, blonde, green eyes, has gone home

for his brother's wedding, and we see them, how close they are, and the new bride, too. A long time friend of brother Jayce, is Miles, who used to call Cole names.
We like these characters as the scenes are set up, and we can fell their emotions.
Miles, dark hair, blue eyes, a few years older,

big, muscled and handsome, owns his successful construction company, is grown up now, no more names called, only kindness.

The two are thrown together to prepare for the wedding stuff, and they talk for hours, have things in common, and their dormant attraction is back.
Hot sexy times stretch each man's limits, and we get some fun fantasy scenes, with explosive passions.

These two push each other's buttons like no other has.
Fun, heartwarming, exciting, and super sexy. It's a terrific short story.
ENJOY !

Cute, sweet and way too short. But I do like AM’s formula for romance. Another good read.

Brothers best friend who used to pick on him means that Cole isn't feeling warm and fuzzy when face to face with Miles to plan his brothers batchelor party. What were offhand remarks made years before are quickly removed here. I know we are going for low angst but to me Cole felt too upset for what was really light teasing and then forgave Miles very easily to say it was something that upset him so much.
However, it was light and sweet and aside from that little gripe, I enjoyed this sweet little tale.

Fun, sweet and sexy

I have yet to be disappointed by a book in this series. This was a great book with a full premise. Low angst and just a feel good story. Loved it!

"Do you have any idea what you do to me?"

For such a short length, I really enjoyed the pacing and how the author managed to work in some backstory to show the bonds between some of the characters. While the language was a bit on the fluffy side towards the end and during the but the spice that comes after? I'll be re-reading this book and checking out the author's other works because of it!

My best friend’s brother

Maybe I need to try a crazy dance and love cheesy Chiro humor. Cole and his family’s banter reminds me of my own, happy times. Miles and Cole haven’t seen each other in a long time and after a somewhat rough meeting start to see each other in a new light. Mmm, I think Miles should always answer the door that way.

I wish I could throw a party and ask Ace & Wilder for decoration ideas. Cole and Miles have so much fun together and it’s a joy to see. “Every minute, of every day, all I can think about lately is you.” Miles is sexy and a tease but Cole knows how to make a grand exit. The club scene was so sexy and hot; you may need a shower after reading it. I love how Cole goes after what he wants. Miles and Cole have a fiery chemistry that burns up the pages but I love the trust that develops between as they explore new sides of themselves.

Another fantastic addition to the Ace’s Wild series by the amazing Annabella Michaels. I love how she writes her characters and Cole and Miles are a treat. A sweet, sexy story of new beginnings and finding what makes you happy.

This was short, but sweet.

💚💙💜

Cole is coming home to his older brother Joyce's wedding. He's fresh out of college, he's a chiropractor and wants to stay in the hometown.

While his brother's an athlete, Cole is shorter, leaner, blonde hair, green eyes. He's openly gay.

When he was in high school, his brother had a bestie, Miles, that would always tease Cole, giving him nicknames, being a jerk.
Cole resented that and would always go away when Miles would come around.

Now at his brother's wedding or the events leading up to it, he's put in a situation where he has to work with Miles to give Joyce a bachelor party.

While apprehensive at first, when they actually have to be in the same room together, they talk and Cole finds out that Miles is actually a really good guy, he's gay and was a jerk towards Cole simply because he liked him...very much.

When they go to the bachelor's party, Cole and Miles finally kiss, they dance and they decide to spend the night together.

After that, they can't get enough of each other.

They fall in love. They stay together. Cole opens up a chiropractic practice and they move in together.

In the epilogue Miles asks Cole to marry him.

Now, in general, this would for me make a 5* book, but the book was too short and I didn't really get the whole "I liked you in high school", I just didn't feel it.
I also think they've said their iloveyou's way too soon. I was surprised, really. Because have there been a strong build up, it would make sense.

But the book was a very nice read and when I was reading it, I was grinning the whole time!!!!!!

Short and sweet story about the groom’s best friend, Miles Butler, and the groom’s younger brother, Cole Morris, finding a forever together of their own while planning a bachelor party. This is a really short book that packs in the building of a whole relationship. Could it have been longer and more developed? Yes, absolutely. However, for the length of the book, it is a well told and complete story with a brief build-up followed by a handful of angst and a steamy encounter.

I've only liked maybe 3 books out of this collaboration series so far, what can I say, I'm picky and the devil is in the details. That being said, my love for Annabella Michaels is well known. I have re read her books who knows how many times already, so I was BEYOND excited to know she was going to be releasing her own, because yeah, sex shop baby !!!

Cole and Miles are ... so damn sweet. The tux fitting - HOT. The bachelor party - so much fun. M & C dancing - HOLY SMOKES ! And then, and then you guys ..... the blindfold scene !

description

Yeah, that was something LOL Bottom line is, if you were as disappointed with some of the series, you'd like this one, honestly you would. If you like AM's writing, this will not let you down.

*I received an ARC by sheer luck, but I would have read and reviewed it anyways because I've read and re read all her books anyways*

I usually like a bit of drama or angst in my stories but once in a while a totally sweet and sappy one comes along that draws me in and makes me fall in love and this is one of those types of stories. Yes it was short, maybe longer would have been better so Cole and Mile's romance wouldn't have been rushed but I loved it all the same.

Oh, one thing I do have to say the cover doesn't do this story justice.

TAGS
--fast easy read -- sweet -- sappy -- very, very mild kink -- hot as hell -- made me melt -- loved the MCs... Miles and Cole -- brother's best friend -- sigh worthy -- just what I needed -- a tiny bit rushed -- could have been longer -- not a fan of the cover -- less than 100 pages -- I recommend (if you're looking for something sweet and sappy)

Cole is coming home for his brother Jayce's wedding. He didn't realize he would be spending time with his bully and brother's best friend, Miles. When Cole finds out the truth, things start to change. What do you do when you fall for your brother's best friend?

Cole being so nervous made me want to hug him. Dinner was different. That next night in Miles apartment was not what Cole expected. Miles definitely changed dramatically or Cole wouldn't have believed him. The shop was hysterical. The dressing room made me smile. Bachelor parties are fun but this one was not what I expected at all. Jayce is sweet. This is so cute. The ending was wonderful. I really enjoyed this!

2.5 rounded up

This was decent enough for a short story. There were some good bones, enough that I'd be curious to read something full-length from this author, as my biggest qualms here were with the pacing, which had everything moving way too fast to really feel believable, but I know some decent authors who can't write a short story to save their life. A couple of overly-schmoopy moments, and some kink that felt like it came out of nowhere, but generally I liked the concept and the characters, the author just tried to move things too fast for the amount of words she had.

There is all cliches in this book that my heart hates:
* past enemies, because of silly childish misunderstanding.
* insta love after first kiss
*everybody soooo understanding and suportive
*no discussion about sex preferences (slimer more femine guy bottoms ofcourse)
*I'm always quite sceptic about "fucking your mouth" scenes. It can go so fast so wrong....
*I love you forever and ever after two weeks. Move in with me after month. Let's get married after six.
* It ends with "Will you marry me?"
*oooooh boy....

I can only blame myself for picking up books that I know are going to leave me disappointed with lack of development because of how short they are. I have no self control when I read a blurb and think it sounds like a good read though 😫

It was cute, sexy at times, and, ultimately, too dang short. I mean, c'mon, saying ily's after seeing each other, like, three times and realizing they were into each other? But, again, kinda hard to complain about it when I knew from the start it would leave me feeling like every other short story. Oh well. Still a fun lil read.

Best friends older brother dual point of view
Standalone

Cole felt picked on by his brothers best friend growing up. Now that they are both groomsmen for the wedding and older, they have to work together. Can they keep the peace or will there be drama that impacts the wedding?

Read in KU. Liked the charitable aspect.

Story was cute. Liked the characters, but I felt like there could have been more buildup and conflict. May have suffered due to shorter length.

Holy hot Christmas cookies, this book was fantastic! Seriously Cole came home for his brother’s wedding, unfortunately he has to deal with his brother’s best friend Miles. Miles always made wisecracks about him growing up, but now Miles has apologized, then explained he was confused and didn’t want to admit he was gay at that time.

Now they have a few weeks to get to know each other, spending one steamy night dancing and being just a little kinky. Damn these guys were fire hot!! And yes falling in love and finding it to be right, is what they both want!!

It’s a fantastic, scorching hot sex scene, amazing short story to go with this series. Annabella I give you 5 stars and stars, stars and more stars!!! Get this book, in fact get the whole series!!

Sooo good!!

Loved it! I absolutely loved Miles and Cole’s story. I was drawn in from the start with the brother’s best friend storyline with a little forced proximity thrown in. The chemistry between Miles and Cole jumped off the page at me and kept me on the edge of my Kindle. As with all the Ace’s Wild stories, there is a bit of self discovery at hand. I found Miles and Cole’s super H-O-T!! This was a fantastic read and I couldn’t recommend it more!

As with all the Ace’s Wild books, this can be read stand-alone, but you don’t want to us all the amazing stories in this series!

Cole is coming back to Vintage Ridge to be best man for his brother Jayce. He is happy for him but is not looking forward to see his brother's best friend Miles, one of the groomsmen. Miles wasn't the nicest to him when they were in high school. So the anxiety level rises when Jayce is asking both to arrange his bachelor party. So the next day Cole and Miles find themselves at Ace's Wild, the local adult store. Find out what happens next by reading it yourself. LOL
I loved it. It is sweet, no angst and a little bit of kink. Miles is full of surprises and Cole has the smart and cute down to a tee.

Ok, I'm just going to say it.... Miles And Cole are so hot🔥🔥🔥
Annabella weaves a wonderful story in this latest edition to the Aces Wild series. Cole is traveling home for his brothers wedding and has been paired with Miles, his brothers BFF, to plan and execute the bachelor party.  Cole is not to happy with this plan, as Miles didn't seem to like him in high school..  Miles has been so focused on his business, he's not taken time to smell the roses. But is it possible that with one look, one trip to Aces Wild and one hot turn on the dance floor, that everything could change between them? Well, I recommend you read this five star story and find out. You won't be disappointed.

Cole is coming home to celebrate his brother's wedding. but having to plan the bachelor party with Miles, he's a little gun shy. Miles used to torment Cole in school but there was a reason which will shed light in a new direction. The chemistry between them is off the charts. Ms. Michaels did an amazing job with this addition to this multi author series.

3.5 stars. Short, but cute and sexy. I was a bit worried about this being another bully romance, but things weren't as heavy as they seemed and quite easily and convincingly resolved. The connection between Miles and Cole was lovely and warm and their final coming together was very sexy. A nice addition to the Ace's Wild series.

Short and so much sweeter than I was expecting, this brother's best friend, forced proximity story has everything I needed. It's not really huge on the enemies to lovers trope, mostly because Miles is a total sweetheart and not at all the jerk Cole thought he was in highschool. I might be a little in love with Miles - he knew what he wanted, and he made sure Cole knew it too. There is some light kink, and the intimacy scenes are smoking hot, but for me, it was all about the romance and mushy feelings. Already re-reading it!

Another great add to this multi-author series! Cole and Miles are amazing! I love a good story where the characters think the other didn't like them but then discover they can be so much more. Sexy chemistry with sweetness that I couldn't stop smiling at. Miles has some apologizing to do and Cole has some choices to make. Another kinky addition to Ace's wild and I can't wait for the next. I voluntarily reviewed an 'Advance Author’s Copy' of this book.

I loved enjoyed reading about Cole and Miles. This is a great brothers best friend romance! Dislike quickly changes to heat and romance. The chemistry between these two is HOT! There is also sweetness and fun on their road to happiness. Loved it!
