Shelley Jones is an accountant by day and one of Santa’s Secret Helpers by night. Helping Pastor John organize the next fundraising event for the church should be easy. But taking children on a train ride around Flathead Lake in mid-December is asking for trouble—even if it is The Santa Express. Pastor John McDonald wants to make the world a better place. And he’s doing it, one day at a time, from a small town called Sapphire Bay. Raising money for the tiny home village is his top priority. When The Santa Express is in danger of being canceled, Shelley and John have to work together to make the event happen. And maybe, if they can leave their troubled past behind, they’ll create a little Christmas magic of their own.
THE SANTA EXPRESS is the fourth novel in the Santa’s Secret Helpers series and can easily be read as a stand-alone. Each of Leeanna's series is linked so you can find out what happens to your favorite characters in other books. Happy reading!
Leeanna Morgan is a USA Today bestselling author. She lives in New Zealand surrounded by green hills on one side and the ocean on the other. She enjoys going for long walks, especially if she can convince her husband and two children to go with her!
Leeanna writes contemporary romances set in Montana. Her books contain all of the things that are important to her; good friends, family, a strong sense of community, and a happy ending.
Whilst some may find Shelley and her lists irritating, I find her endearing rather than annoying. She has a heart of gold and whilst she may struggle to let go of control she is also willing to ask for help when she needs it. I love Pastor John, he has been amazing throughout more than one series and I am so glad he finally gets his HEA. Can Shelley be his missing piece? His soul mate? Such an amazing series, I will be sad to see it end but so glad we are getting a bonus book 5 at the end of the year...a gift from santa?
Thoroughly enjoying this series with its great characters and well written storyline. I’m look forward to the final book which I believe ties up loose ends and takes the reader through weddings etc. The only thing I’ve missed in the series has been a bit more details about the tiny home ie what they’re actually like. I’d love a description or even an illustration in the start or end of the book. I can thoroughly recommend this author and the series.
Absolutely loved John. He is an amazingly gifted, caring, kind, thoughtful, committed fellow. Shelley is great with the details. So impressed with what she decided to do with the two houses. The whole theme 'speaks' to my heart. Value everyone and everything that cares for others in need. These books are full of the "make a difference" determination. Love the whole series. It always leaves you feeling good.
As usual Ms.Morgan did it again. She wrote a charming story of small town life with characters from other books along with some new ones. I loved reading about a very loving Italian family and the close relationship between the three sisters. I look forward to the next book in this series.
A sweet story set in a small town. It’s the holiday season and Shelley is in town temporarily to visit her family. Until she gets caught up in volunteering and gets to know Pastor John better. A story of new beginnings, finding true love, and a HEA.
A small town full of helping hands, a family full of love and one who lives to lead the way, brings smiles and even happy tears to this reader`s eyes . Ready for some feel good vibes? Read The Santa Express by Leeanne Morgan!
I can identify with Shelley and I am a list maker so I understand her thinking. This series is great and I love it when I can keep characters from book to book and not be lost. Leanne writes and makes you feel you are there with her characters.
I have read the books that were written after this series, and have been curious on how John and She'll got together.... What a wonderful story, set at Christmas time!
Small town clean romance. Nice light reading involving a close knit community. Each book is a stand alone, but does have recurring characters whose lives intertwine with the current books main characters. The Christmas theme is an added bonus
