Broken…

I’m the girl who hides in the shadows where it’s safe and no one can touch me. I’ve spent the last six years trying to fade into the background, but one knock on my door changes everything. It’s time to pay on a promise I made the day my life was saved.

Lost…

It sounds simple enough. Go undercover at the Devil’s Regents MC and just listen. See if I hear anything worth mentioning to the Feds. But then I meet Saint and his three club officers and things aren’t so clear. Because they make me feel. And that’s something I haven’t done in a very long time.

Saved…

A rival club threatens everything Saint and his men have worked so hard to build and they won’t go down without a fight. So I’ll stand with the four men who saved me and, together, we’ll protect those around us. And at the end of the day they’ll see just how far I’ll go to keep them safe.

***This is a motorcycle club, reverse harem romance and contains situations that some readers may find offensive. Reader discretion is advised.***

The couple: Olivia/Saint/King/Bash/Razor

Romance genre: reverse harem; MC
Part of a series: Yes (Devil's Regent MC)
Length: 278 pages

Plot: Olivia is a college student with a lot of secrets. While getting ready for the semester to end, she is contacted by an FBI agent who needs her to go undercover - she has a favor to repay him, and we've only had a tiny glimpse into what might have happened before to create that situation.

Character development: Olivia was a mess, but a relatable mess. She fell in love with more than one guy (well, lust, then love). She had secrets. She was trying to cope with a trauma, but in a destructive way. She didn't have superpowers or special talents or anything extraordinary - she was just trying to survive the best she could. I was a little surprised, to be honest, that she continued to feed the FBI information as long as she did. But she did go into the situation blind, not even knowing that she'd be infiltrating an motorcycle club.
The guys, on the other hand, are all a little too good to be true, but that's par for the course! They were pretty great, and all together made up a perfect boyfriend. Bash was sweet and affectionate, King was passionate and aggressive, Saint was aloof and um, Daddy-ish (?), and Razor was forthright and willing to take a chance. The five of them together made a formidable unit - except Saint was hard-headed and wouldn't get on board. That was a big source of the intimate conflict. Then there was Olivia's side hustle, her secret past, the FBI investigation, the other mole, the other other mole...this book had a lot going on, but it didn't feel like too much.

Next book in the series: Her Saints

This is the first book I’ve read that this author and I didn’t want it to end! This is a gritty and heartbreaking story from the beginning. The characters are well developed and the storyline is intriguing and suspenseful. Olivia has had a tragic past and then was rescued by the FBI and she feels like she owes them. She just wants to blend into the background and not call attention to herself. So when Agent Hill comes to collect Olivia doesn’t feel like she has an option of telling him no, she needs to repay her debt. Her “assignment” brings up all of the old memories and feelings she has tried to forget.. She has to go undercover and infiltrate the Devil’s Regents MC. Olivia doesn’t expect to have feelings or fall for 4 of the members but that’s just what she does. She doesn’t equate sex with feelings of love because of her past but she is surprised when that’s what happens. But then the mission goes screwy and she is left with doubts. Will they keep her around when they find out her deception? I can’t wait for the next installment of the series!!!

dnf @38%.

The fmc keeps switching back and forth between between this innocent college girl persona and this promiscuous woman with a rough past.

The straw that broke the camel‘s back was the first sex scene, which was a great illustration of the contradictions mentioned above. Be warned, spoilers ahead.

Context, she invites him to her dorm room:

“You’ve never seen a porno? Ever? Fuck. I don’t know how to respond to that.” He doesn’t know that I’m lying. Why would he? We’ve only known each other for a short time. He does not know that I was trained from a very young age to lie and lie well at that. And to use people’s hidden agendas against them. Like, for example, he mentioned porn. I knew that by saying I hadn’t seen one, I would pique his interest. Now we get to have some fun and I can feed the darkness inside of me.

But then two pages later she says and thinks things like

“Do guys really like this stuff?”
& “But the crazy thing is, I can kind of see the appeal.”
& “Is there anything we can do to make this less painful for you?”
& “What would happen right now, if this was a porno?”
& “I know. I just want to see how this feels.”

It‘s giving virgin even though earlier it was heavily implied that the fmc is an escort of some sorts.

Besides the lack of consistency and depth to the main characters, the overall suspense and chemistry were lacking.

Picked this up on a whim and only wanted to read a chapter or two before bed and read the whole book instead.
The characters and the plot were both very well done. It felt different than all the other "standard" Reverse harem that all kind of blend together at this point. I especially liked the ending. Not a cliffhanger really, but unique and comprehensible.
The only thing I personally didn't enjoy, but is totally a preference, is the writing. It was mostly good, but just some sentences felt a bit amateurish (even though there are like three pages of works in the back).

Cliffhanger

Did not realize this was a cliffhanger...no HEA right now

Unanswered questions about Olivia’s past.

Mc club not that great at knowing their members. Not a big fan of the guys in the harem.

The main female character was one big contradiction.

Sex scenes were quick...no passion or chemistry

Meh. Could have been good (for me, may already be there for others), but I didn't like too much of the set up / actions.

This is how you write a nice, somewhat quick, angsty, romantic RH. The plot was interesting and intense, the relationship development was great even though there wasn’t an obscene amount of details, and I can’t wait to read the rest of the series! Thanks so much to the person that recommended this to me in the RH FB group!

The story starts with a lot of questions to be anwered. What exactly happened in Olivias past? *spoiler* on the one hand she leaves an innocent Impression on the other hand just sex no love. When she starts working for the FBI without really knowing what to expect. The last years she just tried to blend in and now she finds four gorgeous MCs and also love. The story is hot, great charcter development. Only the cliffhanger in the end. I shed a few tears, Really felt with the different charcters, everyone is kind of special. And the Devil's Regents MC really have a conscience. It also gets very steamy and hot.

This is a new author for me. The book was really good in a new series, Devil's Regents MC with fun, steamy, wild and emotional rides. The storyline will keep you reading till the end and you find the cliffhanger. Olivia is undercover for the FBI but she falls for Saint, King, Bash and Razor. They are taken on a journey of lies, betrayal, secrets, love and heartbreak to name a few. Now we wait for the next book to find out what happens. I usually don't read books that have cliffhangers. I liked her saviors it did feel a bit rushed and I didn't know it was going to end in a cliffhanger it kind of made me mad a little with how it ended . I think it's hot with the way she is with the male characters it just made me hope that she ends up with all four of them instead making it seem like there going to be with her then the next books there going to be with different heroines I hope that doesn't happen with this one .

Olivia thought she had finally gotten her life under control. She had escaped a very harrowing childhood and made something of herself that nobody in her family had ever believed possible. She had not only graduated high school but she was a straight A student in college. She was rooming with a great roommate and they were encroaching on their summer vacation. Olivia isn't sure where she is going to go for the 2.5 months she has off and can't live in the dorm but the Feds have another idea for her. They request that she repays them for their help in saving her life by going in as a spy in the Devils' Regents MC Club. She is to act as their bartender and dig up as much dirt as she can for the Feds to use in sussing out the club's illegal activities. Little does Olivia know that when she arrives at the MC's clubhouse that she would be met with not one but four burly, handsome officers who have a vested interest in her safety from the moment they lay eyes on her doe-eyed expression. But Olivia is not as angelic as they would like to believe. Her past has made her predilections a bit more dark than the virginal role they cast her in. But there are forces working against the club that not even Olivia was prepared for and could be her downfall with the men who have finally made her feel something for the first time.

Olivia was a connundrum. One minute she is nervous to be in situations with aggressive men and the next she is doing things that are incredibly dangerous to feed the dark need within her. She walks this line of between angel and succubus that is really interesting to watch. And when she turns those dark needs on her men, watch out. The heat from their chemistry will explode off the page and singe your eyebrows. She is a very likeable character because despite her issues she cares about people around her. She will do whatever she thinks is best in the current situation. She felt repaying the Feds who saved her was best until she saw her actions starting to hurt the people around her. Then the moral dilemma turned to her refusing to do anything that caused more pain even at the jeopardy of herself. She was a class A heroine and I absolutely love her.

Of the four men: Saint, Razor, Bast, and King I definitely had a bit of a soft spot for Razor. I feel like he is the type that will become absolutely unhinged in his need to do anything he can to make Olivia happy. He started out as being a bit stand-off-ish with her unlike Bast and Saint but ultimately I think he is the one who will ultimately be her ride of die until the end. I also love that he craved intimacy with her from the very start. It wasn't just him thinking she was cute. He wanted something deeper and was not afraid to ask for it. Grade-A Adorable.

I think that as far as shortcomings go I feel like if Olivia would have played a bigger part in the sharing of intel with the Feds then maybe I would have felt her angst over having to choose between ratting on them or sticking by them a bit more. I didn't feel she shared all that much with the agents to cause her role in the betrayal to be that big a part. If that would have been enhanced a bit more it would have added a lot more drama into the mix.

But the story was a good start to what I hope to be another favorite series.

Was there ever any real choice....
by and1515

There is nothing easy in this world and mine began at the end.
I've been trying to out run my horrible past and I'll probably spend the rest of my life looking over my shoulder.
Olivia remembered him, he was the agent who saved her life and when he talks her into doing a favor for him she didn't think she could say no.
But now she'd been having second thoughts however it's to late now the man Rabbit called is has arrived.
Apparently I'm here for a job at least that's what Razor says when he take me in to meet a guy named Saint.
She could tell he had plenty of doubts about hiring me so I play my role beautifully and beg for a chance.
I had my misgivings in offering a job here to a young girl like Olivia but she really seems to need a job.
Bash could totally understand why anyone who meet Olivia would want her.
He definitely did and when he had to explain why he wouldn't touch her.
All because of Saint.
King shared what little information he'd be able to find on the new girl who everyone was going gaga over.
I've pack my stuff even though I haven't found anywhere to crash for the summer.
I'm truly in a pickle agent Hill isn't please with what little information I've been able to get him and now he's pushing for more but then Bash shows up offering me a solution to my problem.
Someone said something how else would they have been ambushed they needed to figure this out quickly.
Olivia felt horrible she had a sinking feeling that what ever happened out on that ride was all because of her.
She'd simply meant to help Razor to his room so he could sleep it off and ended up staying with him the night.
Which lead to a good morning for the both of them However as quickly she became involved with one she still felt guilty about another Bash.
And of course it been clear before he'd wanted her then and she was pretty sure he still wanted her now.
Olivia didn't want either men to think she was trying to play games with them or pit them against each other.
She was having problems dealing with the constant barrage of texts from agent Hill who never wasted a single minute to blame her for the lack of any usable information.
Olivia knew this was wrong however she was running out of options so swallowing the guilt she'd been struggling with and quickly made us of the time she had before he came back.
She'd never thought about playing the voyeur along side King and now Olivia couldn't help but want to find out just how naughty she could be with him.
Something didn't feel right and before she knew it Olivia was faced with an impossible situation with very few options and tons of problems.
By the time everything is all said and most definitely done nothing is the same and she's been given no choice.

This book was so poorly written that it was painful to read. I read the first chapter and didn't like it, but I wanted to give it a chance, so I continued on to chapters 2, 3 and 4 and definitely couldn't take it anymore. This book gets straight to the point, no descriptions of any kind or personality in the main character. First chapter, she tells us something happened to her, the author gives us some pretty brief flashbacks of her in the FIRST fucking paragraphs, then out of nowhere, the cop who helped her years ago comes to her house, summons her to a place to tell her he has to help her with something and just the stupid girl says "okay", no explanations, no questions, she accepts just like that, no more. He could have gotten her into a prostitution or drug trafficking ring, but she didn't see fit to ask beforehand what she was getting into to make sure nothing bad was going to happen, so of course when she gets to the bar she doesn't know what she has to do. Then we get to chapter 2 where she shows up at the place where she was told, meets the informant, he takes her to a bathroom, tears her clothes to shreds, takes her to someone, says "here's this girl, here", and out of nowhere the girl is already meeting one of the targets, without anyone asking her questions, or questioning anything, (which club officials are supposed to do before taking her to the president of an MC to make sure she is a trustworthy person or not) , then takes her to the club, where everyone tells her "you're not going to survive this", only to be taken to the president where of course she falls in love at first sight with him, who decides to give her a one night stand and sends her on her way without even giving her a second glance, but still out of nowhere the next moment he gets jealous because one of his officers spoke to her. And that was it. In just 4 chapters the girl tells us part of her past, gets a job, infiltrates a part of the MC's world and notices 2 of the 4 love interests. I'm sure if she kept reading further, in another 4 chapters she would have even slept with at least 1 of them by now, that's how fast the book goes.

Author, if you read this, I ask you to please LEARN HOW TO WRITE. Give us details, good story, good characters and good book development, DON'T PUT ALL THE FUCKING INFORMATION AT ONCE IN JUST 4 CHAPTERS.

I don't know why this book has such high ratings on Goodreads and Amazon.

If I could give it -5 stars, I would. I'll settle for giving it 1.

(3.5 stars)

After her past, Olivia just wants to finish school and move on with her life. When the man that helped her in the past comes back asking for her to do him that favor she owes him and the FBI, Olivia has no choice but to help. The favor, to get into an MC club and get info; only this turns out to be a bigger favor than Olivia was prepared for. After meeting Saint, the president, and him helping her on her first night, she starts to look at them a bit different. Adding in Bash, Razor, and King to the mix and Olivia has a hard time keeping her mind off the hotties. But as with everything in her life, Olivia is prepared for things to go bad. Is there a way that Olivia can have her cake and eat it too?

There is so much more to this story, but I really don't want to spoil anything. I will say that this was an action packed MC story and plot wise wasn't bad. I will also say, that for the first couple of chapters I was really into this story, until we found out just what Olivia does in her spare time, after that the story lost its appeal. Then it wasn't surprising for her to want more than one man. Add that with the ending, and I give this 3.5 stars.

Lets start with Olivia: Liv for some.... had a rough life that somehow ended her at deaths doorstep. We are told she was "saved" from an FBI agent who decided today was the day to come and ask for that "favor" she owes him. This 21 year old with alot of "issues (some sexual)" that arent well discussed ends up agreeing to help the FBI but doesn't get any information on what she is to do. After a meet and greet with a group of "scary" guys she slowly puts it together that she will be bartending for the Devils Regents a motorcycle club. The FBI wants her to keep tabs on them and report back with anything and everything she can only problem is she finds many of them attractive finally feeling like she belongs she doesn't want to rat them out.

While the club realizes they have a rat, the fbi is on their tail, and another club wants their territory they try to keep it together and clean up shop while the main officers (4*Bash, Razor, King, & Saint) slowly form a relationship of some kind with Liv.

Its not a bad read but the ending big blow up scene confuses me: I mean i dont ever thing the FBI who is wanting to take down the whole clubs would settle with the club instead. Exchanging information for a BIG RAT.

WOW!!

I have to say that this book I couldn’t put down because Olivia had so much mystery and sexiness to her and where do I even begin with the men from the Devil’s Regents MC. She had one sexy man after another who was after her and all were either the Prez or the club’s hierarchy. Saint was the Prez and tried to fight his feelings for her, King held back until he couldn’t anymore, Razor stepped in when Bash tried too hard and Olivia pushed him away for a night. You would think she had it made with the men who weren’t willing to share her with the rest of the club but she was holding onto a couple of really dark and deep secrets.

She was to do a job for the Feds but she couldn’t hurt the men who she came to love and she was going to try to protect them since they were under fire from more than one enemy. The suspense made it so I couldn’t put the book down and the chemistry and steam made it so I fanned myself throughout the book. I can’t wait to see what comes next for these people and what other secrets may be divulged and is Olivia going to being claimed by one of the men or all four them!! I just found a new author to follow.

I received an ARC from the author thru Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving my review. Olivia had not had the best of lives. At one point she is saved by an FBI agent who comes back to "ask a favor". Olivia feels she has no choice but to help him, so she sets out to infiltrate the Devils Regents MC. What she never expected was to fall in love with four bikers. She didn't think love existed. Saint, King, Bash and Razor all fall for Olivia too. But she is there based on a lie, with ulterior motives. Can she actually use her situation to help these men she has fallen for? When the men find out her lies, five hearts shatter. There is a lot of drama, twists and turns with action and suspense. The storyline and characters were great. The cliffhanger will leave you wanting to jump right into the next book. So if you cannot stand the wait between books, wait until the whole series is out. If rh is your type of genre, you will love to grab this MC series. I really enjoy Sarah's writing

This is the first book I've read by Sarah Bale, but sure as heck will not be the last! Olivia has a dark, twisted, and tragic past which continues to haunt her and causes her to engage in dangerous behavior. An FBI agent from her past lures her to spy on a biker club, The Devil's Regents MC. She agrees because he offers her enough money to complete her college education and support herself for her last year in school. But when she meets the men of the MC, they are not at all what she thought. The chemistry sizzles between her and the officers of the club, Razor, Bash, King, and especially the Prez, Saint. Sparks fly and she ends up in relationships with all but Saint. This book has plenty of twists, turns, drama, and steamy action. And ends with a cliffhanger, noooo.... The next book in the series is out now, Her Saints., and the third book, Sinners, will be out on July 2020. Both books are currently available to read for free with your KU Subscription. Great Read.

First book by this author and I have to say that I was pleasantly surprised as the premise piqued my interest, the FMC is like this tender, innocent soul and then again there was s darkness within her that is biding its time to be released. Almost like a yin and yang battle there.

The Devil's Regents MC certainly had a vibe and in contrast to other MC books I have read, this one offered genuinely decent men, who were far from misogynistic even though that was not the case for all club members. Olivia certainly felt the pull towards all four, but for me here the one that stood out was Bash. King, Saint and Razor have the potential to dive into something meaningful, but whether that would happen or not remains to be seen.

I really liked this book and I am quite interested to see what Olivia's past was. There is some information here, little glimpse to make you guess, but I reckon there is more to her background that meets the eye. I did not realise this was the first book in the series, but I am off to the next one as I am a bit hooked on this story.

Olivia owes a favor to the FBI so she is told to get in to the club bar, when she does shes convinced shes working for a gay bar and these guy are all dating each other cause she isn't allowed to flirt with them. When she gets accepted in and Saint approves her to the club and no one is allowed to touch her . She does find out its not a gay bar but an MC of the Devil Regents bar. Bash, Razor, King and Saint cant get enough of Olivia but when Saint finds out she is now hooking up with Bash and Razor he goes sour and yet still wants to protect her. He has her live in the club house. They also have a problem with stuff getting leaked to the rival club and to the FBI. What happens when they find out shes the FBI leak? What happens when they find out she also saved them and helped them?

I love Olivia and her boys! Her boys are so protective of her and I love how much they all fell for her. Even though she has a pass they just accept her! I flew through this book and feel hard for all of these bikers! SOA RH vibes!

Olivia is in a tight spot. She feels she owes a debt. The only thing she feels she can do is humble herself to accept. It was an interesting story and kept me intrigued, I really felt for Olivia and I could just see the manipulation going on there to. Que... The Devils.....and Yes I call them the Devils because well they are all unique in there own way and a package deal that Olivia has been given. Then.... the second thoughts... She is about to be schooled by the Devils. There will be no escape. This book was a different type for me not your typical reverse harem story. It has elements of surprise and I found myself swiftly falling for the Devils myself. It is a start that will leave you begging for more.

Her Saviors is book one in the breaks new series, Devil’s Regents MC. This reverse harem MC Romance takes you on a fun, wild, steamy and emotional ride from beginning to end. It’s a really well written book with five amazing characters and a storyline that will keep you begging for more.

President of the MC - Saint, three of his officers - King, Bash and Razor, and the unsuspecting heroine - Olivia. These 5 take us on a journey of secrets, lies, betrayal, love, heartbreak and so much more. She was sent in to go undercover for the FBI but she never expected to fall for any of the club’s members, especially not 4 of them. When the truth comes to light decisions are made, hopes are shattered and hearts are broken.

I can’t wait for book 2 to continue Olivia’s story!

If you don't mind the reverse harem genre, this is one hell of a book for you. In this book Liv has a relationship with at least 3 different men at the same time, they know of each other and share her. The book isn't pure about sex but also tells a story about how everyone got there, their history and what is going on now. There is a lot of excitement troughout the book, it is a mixture of a love story and a detective novell. I you love a lot of bad ass hunks and motor bikes this is the book to read for you. I can't wait to read the next book in these series.

If you can't deal with books with cliffhangers and open endings, wait untill the series is complete because oh wow the end of this book gave me chills. And I hope Sarah Bale doesn't wait long to write the sequel.

A nice surprise!

Olivia is a college student with a traumatic past. As she wonders where she'll stay during summer break, a FBI agent she met years ago asks her a favor, wanting her to infiltrate an MC to get information for him. What Olivia didn't expect was to fall for four men and to

Once I started this book, I couldn't put it down. Olivia had a really rough childhood, her being revealed little by little throughout the book.
Sometimes her relationship with some of the men, like King and Razor, felt a bit rushed, like it just happened suddenly but then it felt kind of natural. Bash is just so adorable, and Saint is really freaking stubborn!

That ending was really heartbreaking and I just hope that she'll get her men back. Definitely cannot wait to read book 3!

3.5 rounded up

Overall, I enjoyed this. It had tension, steam, and enough logic to not make everything eyeroll worthy (though the "omg you know cars?!" bit was a bit much).

I like Olivia, though I wish her past was SO cryptic at the beginning. It's interesting to have a h that's basically a sex addict as a means of dealing with trauma. All the guys are good, even Saint who doesn't have a relationship with Olivia. They are unique enough to be discernible, albeit a little too "nice" at the beginning. Also, I loved Jas. Girl bonding, yay!

MC plot is nice, with moles and the Feds and deals gone wrong

Steam is meh. Not bad, but nothing mind-blowing. Mostly short and to the point

Bit of a cliffhanger, definitely not a HEA or HFN
