She'd seen it coming. Ever since Harold Westlake had made his announcement that he would be running for President, Kitty had been trying to warn her friends and teachers just how bad things were going to get. And yet, no one was doing anything about it. No matter how much she sounded the alarm, everyone kept telling her to just believe that things would work out.
But things wouldn't just work out. Kitty knew this, even if everyone else had collectively decided to stick their heads in the sand. The evidence was there and couldn't possibly be clearer.
There was a war coming for the fey, and Kitty knew that if they stood any kind of a chance of surviving, she would have to do something to stop it herself.
Well a rather surprising ending to this saga, is there more? I rather hope so as it seems this storyline is unfinished. A great read so far hoping to see the end of Harold Westlake soon!
Fantastic follow up from the previous novels. It wraps some of the questions from before and adds more into the mix without loosing the reader. The tension is building for a final showdown.
This is Book #3 in the series The Rising Storm. The story of three teen girls awakened as fey in a time of turmoil. The narrator of this story is the third member 0f the trio. It was fun to read and enjoyable to put the stories together. The characters reman true to themselves and the trio.
But, as you'll find out, it seems to cry for a fourth book to tie up some loose ends. That's not all bad because the character I pegged as the villain deserves to be defeated in detail. Translated from military jargon, that means beaten badly enough to leave the fray (plot line) with tail between his legs at the best speed he can make.
I liked the books and think you will also if you can forgive the premise that fey exist.
