Breathing and being self-aware may seem basic, yet it is essential. This book, aimed at children but which can be of help to anyone, has expressive images and easy but very effective exercises that will help guide one's inner world.

A GREAT RESOURCE FOR TODAY'S CHILDREN AND THEIR FAMILIES

This book sends the important message to all children about the power within them to effectively handle and deal with stress through the use of practical techniques that can be quickly learned and applied. The breathing exercises that follow the text of the story are an added bonus. This is a wonderful book for all families with children. I love this book, and will be reading it to my grandchild, and sharing it with friends and family.

A different story about learning how to relax if something is bothering you. A really simple idea and it would be good to use with a class if you know something might be worrying them. Some useful breathing exercise are provided at the end of the story. Poetry/rhyme links throughout.

Great lesson about controlling your mind!

As adults, we can often recognize when our minds are spinning out of control and know we need to take a breathe. This book explains in a child friendly way that kids are often troubled by thoughts that need to be tamed. An excellent way to teach mindfulness and deep breathing to your children and students alike.
