Honesty: A Memoir: Walking the Walk

Rate this book
Book 6 in a series of 7
An addiction memoir; the good, the bad, and the funny of getting and staying sober. You’ll laugh as Lela Fox evolves from a needy newcomer with a chip on her shoulder to a more serene soul with a chip in her pocket.

Follow the adventures of this adorable alcoholic as she ‘walks the walk’ through two years of sponsors, boyfriends, and chaos, changing jobs as fast as her peak-and-valley moods change.
Yet she turns troubles into solutions, depending on her build-it-yourself Higher Power and twisted approach to AA principles.
HONESTY presents a series of colorful characters and a full load of intense action. Meet Bear, Lela’s first sober boyfriend with a problem she can't solve, and re-meet Damon, the OCD ‘guardian angel’ who ushers her home but leaves her hanging.
Tension runs as high as her debt load. Betrayal and grief put a dent in her determination. But all seems right when Lela meets Railroad Gil at the offbeat West 40 AA club. Has she found the real deal?
HONESTY is full of AA, but not yet the happily-ever-after. After all, she’s still Lela Fox, an errant alcoholic with a rollercoaster life and two more Lifetimes to go.

READERS LOVE HONESTY!
“Fantastic! Lela Fox does it again.”
−Laurel Night, best-selling author and editor

“I love Lela! Her life is crazy-funny and chaotic, even in sobriety, yet she’s a survivor. Never a dull moment here… can’t wait for the final installment!”
−Samantha L, Idaho

I love this series

I've read Lela Fox's whole series on her lifelong battle with Bipolar disorder and alcoholism. They are all really good and quite addicting in their quirky way. Read them all! I'll probably go back and reread them again.
