I hear it every day: "Why doesn’t Silver have an old lady?”
I’ll tell you why. Because getting my rocks off isn't nearly as important as protecting the Royal Bastards MC. I may only be the VP of the Detroit Chapter, but I take my job seriously, and no bitch is going to come between my club and me.
But the new batch of submissives we've just received has me turning my head, and while my club starts to tear itself apart from the inside out, the platinum-haired beauty in my cuffs is the only thing on my mind.
I don't care that I'm more than double Lacey's age, and I don't care that my closest companion in the club wants her. I'm going to collar her and make her my baby girl.
Amidst the gun powder, lead, lust, and betrayal, I've got to step up and take what's rightfully mine. I am Lacey's Daddy, and this club's enforcer--God help the sorry son of a bitch who stands in Daddy's way.

I have been waiting awhile for this book. And i gotta say. I was disappointed so DISAPPOINTED!!! You have no idea how sad I am about that. And below are all the triggers if you wanna read this. :/
I was so hyped about this book because we got a Silver (H)daddy dom. And his new baby girl. And well wasnt like that. It was sorta like that Silver had a baby girl who was murder and he been on the road to revenge, and he been celibate because he was so in love with her. Until Lacey(h) is brought in. And well nope he pushed and pull from her he said one thing and did another. There was no real daddy dom stuff between them. Until like the end. THEN you have lacey. Poor lacey was abused, sexual assault. And with the mix feelings Silver was tossing her was ugh!! On top of that. They didnt even have sex. YES no sex scenes between Silver and Lacey. You get to see silver get a BJ from a club bunny after 3 years of not letting club woman near him and that's tossed because of the pull from lacey??? Like wtf?? And we had to see Lacey raped twice..TWICE!!!. but no steamy moment's between her and The main man. Only mention in the Epilogue they had sex. :/
I'm sorry I'm just so fking sad. 😭😭😭😭😭
Angst, Ow/om (he gets a bj from someone and she was forced to give a bj and she was raped) drama, drama, slight secondary charas, no virgins and no manwhore celebite 3 years (then blew it)
Recommend- ehhhh Cover-⭐⭐
Slow-burnish Older/younger couple Violence Sorta daddy kink Push away from H Sex trafficking Sexual assault Assaulted Violence Mentions of anal sex Drunk driving (don't do plls) No condom Not safe Hea Epilogue

Tragic loss of his parents, wife and baby see Silver unable to connect or love another woman for 5 years. Yet he falls in love with Lacy a new submissive at the club the first moment he sets eyes on her... Nah not so much.
In usual miss Youngblood fashion, this MC book was unlike anything you would normally see in the other books. But that is what is amazing about this author. She is one of a kind. Who can mix dom/subs with an MC gang and make it so approachable like this? I loved everything about this. Yea this was super dark. Lacey got brutally raped. Daddy Silver was there to save the day though. I sure do love everything this author writes. I am a forever fan. Onto book 2! Cant wait to read Chrome right now! 5 stars!!!!

This book caught my attention immediately. While it is dark in a few places there is enough action to constantly keep you reading. I found myself reading at every moment I had even if it was 5 minutes at a time. I will definitely be reading it again and any sequels that come! (I'm hoping for a whole series!)
A gripping, raw, and twisted story that takes your soul on a rollercoaster ride of emotions. Definitely one of the best MC books in 2020 so far. From beginning to end it lured me in and left me wanting more.
Blew through it in one sitting lol This was a super cute read. I mean, it’s dark (rape, abuse, whipping intentionally for blood, sex trafficking, slavery, abuse to Submissive’s, hella brutal murders) so if that’s not your speed then I DEFINITELY wouldn’t read it! I wish I could’ve just gotten more...I wanted more of Silver and Lacey together trying to figure this whole Dd/Lg thing out between the two of them and their demons and diving into their actual love for each other.
Silver is a “broken” man, never recovering from the death of his Babygirl and their child together.
Lacey on the run from herself, hoping that one day the least she could have is the choice to choose freedom and out the world of slavery.
They are really perfect for each other.
Super cute read
“you’re damn fuckin right, baby girl. Forever and always. I love you lil’ one.”
Cover caught my attention - yep, MC club book - yep, blurb sounds good - yep ...and then it all stopped. Silver didn't come across as a badass biker, he was too whiny and 'woe is me'. About the only time he showed some 'biker tendencies' was when it came time for some retribution, and then the author tried way to hard here. Lacey didn't get it done for me either. She was entirely too wishy-washy... 'oh Silver is so sexy' next breathe 'Silver is an asshat'...blah. The plot was decent, the writing didn't make me want it.
Silver and Lace was the first book I had read by this author. It was a good MC story. But it could have been a great story if more effort had been put into fully rounding out some of the characters. In particular, Silver, the main male character, could have used some tweaking to bring him into more of a 3-dimensional focus for the reader.
I do get the perpetual state of depression and anger he is suffering due to the horrific events in his past. Unfortunately, he only seemed able to communicate with others through that anger. Indeed, even his internal dialogue is all anger spewing over inside his head, like a bubbling cauldron of acid. Everyone tiptoes around him, except the Prez. (Hmm, that triggered my neon “villain” alert right away.) Through most of the story, the only thing keeping him from dumping on the Prez, too, is Silver’s “respect for the office of the Prez,” the position Silver’s father used to hold. Even when he meets the main female character and is strongly attracted to her (the first time a woman has enticed his interest in years), all he seems able to do is snarl at her then walk away in frustration. This occurs on numerous occasions, right up until the moment her life is in danger and then he quickly realizes he must be more for her or else lose her. But that occurs near the end of the story so, for me, it was too little, too late.
However, these issues wouldn’t keep me from recommending this book to other fans of the MC genre. It just wasn’t the best MC story I’ve ever read. Apart from Silver’s character, a few of the others, some of the brothers, e.g., were rather flat, kind of vague to me. I thought the author’s villains, however, were well-formed. And I really loved the heroine and empathized with her over the path she had been forced to take in life. The only thing I would warn readers about is the graphic depictions of rape and violence in this story. It was a bit much for my taste and it may be a trigger for others. I understand this author’s writing is typically explicit, with very uninhibited and raw scenes. She does alert her readers to her writing style on her Amazon page. I feel Silver and Lace is a 3.5/4-star read.
I had high hopes for this new to me author but it didn't work out. Silver and Lacey barely interact and nothing intimate happens between them. I expected some steamy scenes and got graphic descriptions of her kidnappers cruelty. I'm not sure what the point of the story was, it felt like a big chunk of it was missing.
I Loved It! This book pulled me in from the beginning. Trying to write a review without giving anything away is tough, Silver is our man of the hour in this book. He is the VP of his MC club, a Daddy Dom and he is angry at the world and has every right to be, he is trying to seek revenge on those that tore his life and his club apart and for 5 years has come up empty handed...hence the angry at the world swirl of emotions he has going on. Lacey is a woman that has had all the wrong done to her and has ended up in the crosshairs of Silver and his club. She and Silver are perfect for each other if only Silver can get past his anger to see it. But the trials that they are about to go through together really shows that having the perfect person by your side you can pretty much conquer anything.
I really did Love this book, I blazed through the pages and will be eagerly waiting for the next ones to come out. There are some rather triggering scenes, so if you are one that cannot handle that I would not read this. The reason I only gave this book 4 stars was I wish there was more of Silver and Lacey scenes together. There was not nearly enough DDLG scenes between the two. And they fell in love so quickly and not really seeing them together one tends to wonder how they fell in love so quickly, the ending felt a little rushed but over all I enjoyed this book immensely and will be looking forward to the next 2 books in the series!
Detroit’s Royal Bastards makes a legal living from their BDSM club. All the girls who work for them do it on a voluntary basis. Silver is the VP of the club and he hates his Prez, Harnett. He is the one who brings Lacey to work at the club and places her in the room occupied before by Silver ‘s submissive, Ariana, before being brutally murdered along with their unborn son, Silver’s sister and mother, and the old Prez of the club and also Silver’s father. It has been 5 years but Silver has the pain very present, since he has not yet been able to find the culprit and take revenge. When he sees Lacey for the first time is lust at first sight, he has spent the last 3 years without looking at or touching any woman, just thinking about his club and his revenge. But it is to see her and his body forgets everything, he just wants to make her his. When Silver finally discovers the whole truth is already too late, Lacey is yet another of the victims. But Silver will not stop until the blood of all involved is spilled. Very bloody and action packed, thrilling and little romance towards the end.
Ugh, I really wanted this to be a totally hit for me! Silver and Lacey had a relationship that their feelings developed quickly which I can get. Some people will read that and say it’s too quick or not realistic but I’ll take it.
The graphic abuse, while disturbing, I still had read through and found it still working with the flow of the story and timeline. The reason why I can’t throw this a 5 star was how it ended. Not every story will leave you feeling happy but this one read like it was supposed to. However, to help balance out the trauma and heartache that happened to Lacey I felt like there should have been a better scene for Silver and Lacey to connect and heal.
Their ending scene was a quick blimp in the entire story. The fact her sexual abuse scenes were longer in description and took up more time than her sexual healing/connection scenes didn’t have a good balance to leave me feeling their hea
So, it left me feeling ok about this book but it’s not a reread later or something I’d highly recommend for me at least
Raw and Intense and definitely not for the faint of heart. I love me a good MC book that is gritty and full of violence and blood - I mean a girl does have to breakaway from the sweet romances every once in a while.
This is my first book by Shannon Youngblood and oh how I am blown away. I truly love the bad boy who has good in him deep down but is really a bad boy in the end. Silver does not disappoint in any of that regards. At times while reading I had to go back and reread what I read to make sure what I thought happened actually happened. Shannon Youngblood your mind is definitely a scary and wonderful place to be in.
Revenge can be sweet and I think Silver’s way of torturing those who have deceived and hurt his family is very unique and kinda gruesome but very fitting for the individuals in question.
I was hooked from the beginning. So many emotions were gone through while reading Silver & Lace and I wouldn’t have had it any other way. I can’t wait for the next book.
This book is part of the Royal Bastards MC collection. This club runs a BDMC club. Several years ago, Silver and club went through a great loss. It hit Silver harder as it was his father, the club Prez at the time, as well his family and future. Now there is another girl in the room that used be his girl’s room. There is something about her. She doesn’t quite seem to be like the other girls that work there. There is something going on with the club. He has never been crazy about the man who became the Prez after his father died but Silver himself wasn’t in a place to take over himself. They are about to learn something that is going to tear the club apart. Will Silver be ready to step up? Will he be able to protect the girl who has gotten under his skin without even trying? Lacey hasn’t had it easy and she has learned to do what is needed to survive. But there is something different about this club. She can’t quiet put her finger on it. Not all the members are like the men she usually deals with especially Silver. He does blow hot and cold though. The chapter may run a BDSM club but they don’t agree with forcing women or trafficking them. To bad some of the members of their club don’t think the same way. I felt for both Silver and Lacey. Silver has been on a mission to figure out who was behind what happened to his family. Lacey has been sold from one group to the next. The characters in this chapter are wonderful and I hope to read more about them in the future. Shannon did a fantastic job with this book. I look forward to reading more of her books in the future.
Wow, powerful scenes of abuse in this one, but gripping none the less. This is about revenge for the murder of almost a whole family five years previous, Sliver has a lot of anger and struggles to contain it at times but after his loss it is completely understandable. Lacey has ended up being caught up in a life she has no control over and is in the headlights of a nasty piece of work or two, trouble is she has also caught the eye of Silver as well. I must admit some parts of this story are hard to read and stomach, they are brutal and harrowing, I don't understand how the character survived let alone stood after it. I did love the idea and concept of the club and events, it is different from the usual. Great characters with suspense and twists, violence as well but an interesting and gripping book
Silver is the VP of the Detroit chapter of the Royal Bastards and has his sights set on revenge. Revenge for the pain of his past. When Lacey enters his life, the unexpected feelings rush him and he finds he is thinking of her more than the revenge that has dominated his life for the past five years. When Lacey needs his help, he finds her need for revenge is also his need for revenge. I have read many books by this author, and while she writes some really dark and twisted (in the best possible way) this book is a dark MC because of the trigger warnings and some of the graphic details but this book is not as dark as some of her other books but that is ok because this book is a page turner and unable to put it down. I RECOMMEND THIS BOOK!
Silver and Lace is an intense, raw, and gritty read. The book had me captivated from the beginning. It made me feel every emotion possible. There are dark, twisted, and violent parts that are not for the faint of heart. After all, it is a MC book. I liked Silver and Lacey. I just wished there was more of a progression to their relationship. It seemed there coupling was a little rushed and too insta-love. I wanted more scenes of them together. Other than that, I really liked the book.
This is the first book I read by Shannon Youngblood and I really enjoyed her writing style. There are possible triggers, so be forewarned. I am looking forward to reading the next installment.
First let me tell you if you have some triggers you should be warned this book is slightly dark. But as I don't mind it bring it on 😁. Now on to our regular scheduled program. I loved Silver, oh boy did I love Daddy Silver but I do wish there had been more interaction between Lacey and Silver. Like a build up of them growing into their HEA and definitely some hot steamy scenes that would've made me blush. Overall I did enjoy Silver and Lacey very much it had the drama, bloodlust, some emotional parts and a HEA. So I'm a happy camper. I'm very anxiously awaiting book two and hopefully get to see more of Daddy Silver and his babygirl Lacey.
Amazing it captured me from From the beginning and I couldn't put it down!! Its the 2nd book I've read that made me laugh and made me cry, and every emotion I felt it!! IT's the best book I've read in a long time I totally recommend it you have to check this book out!! It's savage and reckless and filled with trauma and pain and suffering and also love and loss!! But I totally connected with everything and it's an amazing read!! The way it's worded it draws you in says it so you can feel it well done!!
What a PHENOMENAL READ. I literally could not put this book down, reading it in a matter of a few hours! This book has such great characters and such a great plot that it will keep you turning the pages to find out what happens next. ‼️
Silver is HOT, and full of a lot of anger and when he meets Lacey all of those feelings seem to combust because what happens will blow your mind... 🤯
This is an absolute must read. I can’t wait for book 2!
Without a doubt 5 stars Shannon ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I’d give more if I could.
I was pleasantly surprised at how this author was able to intermix BDSM and MC romance. It's not a combination I would think of. One of my favorite things about this author is that she is always redefining who she is as a writer. She's not afraid to color outside the lines. I'm not sure how she straddles the turn me on with the holy hell this is brutal.
The ending was gruesome but deserved. I did wish that it had ended differently than it did. It was abrupt.
Still, a solid book and why I rounded up to 4 stars.
I was so captured by the story that the time just went away without me noticing it. I loved Silver and his warm, gruffy and broken way. Finally after five years he sees something he wants. Later on, he even get’s his revenge. I’m a big fan of films/movies and rough scenes, but in the end of the story there were scenes were I would have closed my eyes - if it’s been a movie. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.
Phenomenal read! The writing and storyline are both amazing! And the characters, well there aren’t enough words to explain how deep and wonderful they are. This book captured my attention from page one and kept it through the very last page. Silver and Lacey both have pasts that molded the people they are today. Darkness and light collide in a heart wrenchingly beautiful story of loss, betrayal, hate, regret, love and so much more!
This was a great read i was given this as an ARC and could not put down very twisting and gripping plot it meet silver VP of motorcycle club and lacy a submissive from their bdsm club yhe club runs. Silver has had something vicious and horrible happen to him with member of his real family and his own baby girl submissive he's on a mission to find out who killed his family when New submissive lacy starts working at the club i want to keep you in suspense so get this book !!!
Amazing story. Totally a different twist than we saw from the previous books in the series. There was a plot where you got to dive into deep of what happened to Silver and his family. You got to learn about Lacey and see how she even got to the Royal Bastard's MC. This book totally had me on the edge of my seat wondering wtf is going to happen next. There were scenes like most SY books where I had to close my eyes.
Gritty and heart-pounding tale. MC stories are my new guilty pleasure. This book will grab you by the throat and wrench your heart right out of your chest. It is unabashedly graphic and will have you glued to your reader till the very last page. The only things that kept this from being a five-star read were the numerous editing errors that interrupted the flow of the story and a couple of plot holes that could easily have been addressed. However, all in all, I really enjoyed this book.
This book deserves so many stars as does this series. I adore Silver's way of threatening a prospect. Always ready to rearrange anatomy😁😁😁. My favorite sentence has got to be voiced toward TBone. With anger and a very crucial part of the book, he starts giving him reasons why he shouldn't do something. He ended with a sentence that still has me giggling"And third, you're a fucking moron" 😂😂😂😂😂😂absolutely priceless! Silver is so hot and pretty sure Lacey is gonna love her "Daddy" 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥. Can't wait for RBMC round 2!!!!!!!!
This book had me going through a lot of emotions. I couldn't put this book down as I wanted to find out what happened next. When the pres of the Royal Bastard MC and most of his family gets killed. His son Silver vows to find out who is responsible for their deaths and the sex trafficking that's somehow related. It takes him 5 long years
My first book by her and can't wait to read more. Read the trigger warnings first before reading, but recommended if you like dark MC books. I have to say, I expected some, some I did not. Great imagination and a page turner. Reminds me of SOA and the lengths they'd go to for their brothers and club.
