The synopsis for this book isn't accurate at all.
This book centers around Kayla, who is devastated when her best friend Margy moves to the city. Kayla is jealous that right away Margy meets Noelle who lives in the same building. Margy also is a C student and under a lot of pressure to do better in school, when all she wants is to do well with music. Kayla must learn to manage without Margy and grow up quite a bit. It's a gentle story.
