I appreciated the two young guys’ attempt to deliver a romance read yet not so dark as I thought.
Despite the fact the story was predictable, it was well written.

The characters had a great chemistry and were well developed.
The steamy scenes were not adequately built and their insta love didn’t fully convince me. Also, the story could have been more elaborated, I found it short.

Richard is a very successful CEO and billionaire, but he wants a submissive companion, so he goes and sees the Wish Maker at an exclusive club, who seems to find suitable partners for those that want them.

Chrissy is a 20 year student with 3 jobs and is guardian to her 8 year old sister. She has had a tough life, but is trying to better herself and give her sister a better life. One day Chrissy gets a devastating phone call and rushes to the hospital to be told her sister is seriously ill. She has no money, no insurance and no hope!

The wish maker makes Chrissy an offer she can’t refuse and she goes to meet Richard, sparks fly but he has certain expectations and she doesn’t know if she is the right person for the job.

What follows is a story of heartbreak, love and hope for two people who need it the most!

I really enjoyed this story and read it in one sitting.

Liked It

Overall, a pretty good way to spend a couple of hours. I won’t classify Richard as a Dom per se. He was looking for a way to control the outcome in a romantic relationship. I liked that aspect, really. Some of these ‘dark lover’ scenarios can be all too much and is really abuse in disguise. This isn’t that, the story actually turns into a pretty sweet HEA. I appreciate it.

I enjoyed this book. It was a lovely quick, and easy romantic read.

What follows is a story of two people finding love, hope and happiness after experiencing heartbreak.

You get to see from both characters POVs. Both characters are well written, and you find yourself feeling every part of the story along with them. I found myself falling in love with both Richard and Chrissy. The love they both had for each other was beautiful.
A lovely ending to a magical story!

Don't get me wrong, I did like the book. But first, I wouldn't call it a dark romance. To me it was more of a "clean" romance. The sex scenes were flat with really no heat. It was predictable and nowhere close to Fifty Shades. It also felt a little rushed meaning how quickly they fell in love was a little unbelievable. I'm going to try to read book 2 in the series and maybe it gets a little better.

Entertaining read. Richard is a billionaire and his club has found the perfect woman for him. Chrissy is innocent but her life hasn’t been easy. Will she choose to trust Richard? Fast-paced with plenty of drama and steam. I liked it.

Ever wonder what it would be like for a man to be sexually unsatisfied through life? To have certain likes that turn women away from you and make them call you horrible names. Richard has more money than he could spend but desires only one thing. A submissive in the bedroom. After a million dollar price tag to a club with certain proclivities, he meets with the wish maker. What does he want? The woman of his dreams will want for nothing as long as she can submit.

What did I like? The blurb blew me away..... a submissive and a dominant. A light to his dark. Richard makes the choice to go after what he wants but how he does it makes me like him more. Everyone thinks the dominant is the true leader but it’s Chrissy that makes the real choices. The book is well written, and avoids the whole Stockholm issue with a natural dominant and submissive culture. I loved it.

Would I buy or recommend? Absolutely, if your looking for a good read about a natural relationship and not a forced one. All decisions are Chrissy’s and she’s a natural submissive. Authors do a great job avoiding a forced relationship, and triggers that usually follow this category. I didn’t want to put it down.

Thoughts for the authors? This is not the first time we have run into the wish maker in a book but this is an interesting idea. Loved the HEA, can’t wait for the next one!

Nothing too special but still a solid read. It wasn't really dark but light with some bdsm elements thrown in there for good measure. I enjoyed and looking forward to more.

There was nothing to this story. There was no plot. The sex was flat, and the characters were shallow and unbelievable.

What I Liked: This book surprised me quite a bit, as it was a lot sweeter and gentler than I had expected. The plot was okay - there were no big surprises, but it was interesting enough.
I liked both main characters, but I liked Chrissy more. I liked her resourcefulness and how much she loved her sister, Bella. Richard surprised me - I didn’t really like him at the start and I had so many reservations about his specific requests, but he developed a surprising amount as the story progressed He was a lot more considerate than I had expected him to be, and whilst the control aspect of their relationship wasn’t my cup of tea, I did think his desire to care for Chrissy was quite sweet; I also liked that
What I Didn’t: The writing was a little bit stilted and stiff throughout, and it was very literal. Some parts were overly descriptive (such as giving every thought a character had) and others didn’t describe enough. It didn’t flow as well as it could have.
I thought the sex scenes needed a bit of work - there were some ideas in them that were appealing but they were quite short, things happened very quickly and whilst I thought the pair of them definitely liked each other I didn’t feel much sexual chemistry between them.
Also, I had some reservations about the way Richard’s kink was presented -
Overall: This wasn’t really a dark billionaire romance, in my opinion; although the hero had some kinks, he wasn’t really dominant in a way I’d expected him to be, and the story overall was a lot sweeter than I expected. It does have a really lovely happy ending, and overall I didn’t mind that it wasn’t quite what I expected. It had some nice ideas, I just thought that the execution of some of them needed a little bit of work.
Would I Recommend It?: Yes, if you want a billionaire romance with some kinky elements, a bit of instalove, and a sugar daddy relationship.
Would I Read Something By The Author Again?: I think so.

A Dark Cinderella story with some D/s

Wrecked is the first book I have ready by C.C. Piper so I was not sure what to expect both regarding the author's writing style and because this is the first book in The Billionaire's Secret Club series. I thought the story of Richard and Chrissy was interesting in a dark Cinderella story.
He is the CEO of the family company that he took over when his father died. Richard is at a point in his life where he wants a partner in play, but there are certain requirements and desires that must be met. So when he hears about a secret club from a friend he is intrigued. There he meets " the Wish Maker", a woman who will find him the woman that meets all of his requirements.
Chrissy is a young woman that is raising Bella, her younger sister, works three jobs and goes to college. When Bella becomes sick with kidney failure Chrissy needs money for her care and is desperate to do just about anything. Enter "the Wish Maker" as Chrissy meets Richard's requirements.
When Chrissy and Richard are introduced they have an immediate attraction, even though they are entering a business arrangement. They get closer and their walls start crumbling down the more time they spend together. But could it ever be anything more than the arrangement?

I thought the book was well written and the story-line was interesting, albeit a bit contrived. The characters were also interesting and held my attention. The one big drawback for me was the lack of proofreading. It was annoying and really broke up the story for me as I was reading.

I received a free ARC of this book in exchange for my honest review. My opinions are all my own.

A unconventional story turned sweet.

A unconventional story turned sweet.

This was so fast paced it was hard to believe for me. The majority of the story was over a three day period and everything moved at warp speed.

I didn’t like how quickly Chrissy went from a man hater, not trusting anyone to being in love with him and all that in like three days. It made me really think she just “loved” him for what he could buy and do for her.

And it never got into Richard’s “dark desires”. Besides wanting to be her only and controlling most every aspect of her life there wasn’t anything dark about this book.

I didn’t like Chrissy and how she constantly tried to make everything super dramatic. If your barely making ends meet probably shouldn’t go to collage right now. If your mother hasn’t given two shits about you or your sister ever she probably isn’t going to fight for custody. Normally you show some signs of illness before you need a kidney transplant. Yes you are selling yourself for money either accept it or don’t do it stop worrying about being a whore, embrace it if that’s what your ganna do. I get that she overcame so much adversity but it got old hearing about everything again and again and again.

I liked Richard for the most part. Little hard to believe he was so upset after one women called him weird and laughed at his desires but whatever. I liked that he was looking for companionship. I thought he was a wee bit overrated for wanting a “yes to everything” little plaything but he got over that pretty quickly.

I'm not sure how to word a review for this without sounding hateful. Is the book wholly offensive? No. But there were so many missed opportunities and frankly just poor characterizations that left me angry that I read this at all. It was almost immediately apparent that this was written by a man.

First of all, Richard was a terrible MMC. He was misogynistic, vapid, and hypocritical. He demanded a submissive virgin and after making his demands, he had to google Dom/sub dynamics. Be so fucking for real. Between the insta-love and a thirty-two year old man acting like a frat boy, it was so unbelievable that there would be any chemistry between Richard and Chrissy. Let's also add in the fact that Chrissy was such an unimaginative and boring character. She immediately slipped into a submissive all the time role that her inner monologue was eye-roll inducing more than anything. The act of thinking, I don't know if I can be a submissive, while just going with the flow the entire time was annoying. Give us something of substance.

I don't think these authors are for me. The writing was bland. The pacing was far too fast to develop any kind of attachment to characters (even if they weren't absolutely garbage.) The characters were underdeveloped and lacked any depth. The smut was so flat. I know I'm in the minority of people that didn't like this so I'm sure my issue is more about my personal preferences, but ugh, never again for these authors. Also this is not a dark romance, not even the premise could be described as dark.

Richard is a handsome CEO of the company he inherited from his father. He has come to a point in his life where he is tired of seeing everyone else with their partners, but he has certain needs to be met. These certain needs is what has been holding him back and when a friend tells him about a secret club, he gets intrigued by the idea. That’s when he meets the Wishmaker and tells her what he desires.
Chrissy is smart, beautiful, and beautifully courageous young woman that is raising her younger sister (Bella). When Bella falls ill, Chrissy is desperate to do anything to make sure she gets well. When the Wishmaker approaches her with an offer she can’t refuse, she meets Richard.
When the two of them meet, there is instant attraction. But this is a contract and both have to remind themselves of this. Will their contract turn into something more?

This was a sweet Cinderella type story, it wasn’t really dark at all. I loved both characters’ personalities and the smooth flow of the story. I consider it a safe read, nothing hardcore in terms of Dom/sub. The writers included a very sweet happily ever after, which definitely was the icing on the cake. I look forward to reading the others of this series

Chrissy was an independent, strong, young woman that is taking care of her sister Bella while working three jobs and going to college. She has little time to socialize but when takes ill due to kidney failure as a result of their mother's drug use while she was pregnant Chrissy doesn't know how she is going to get Bella the care she needs. Richard is a handsome, young billionaire who seems it have it all but there is the one thing he wants above all else...a submissive. Richard is very particular when he meets with 'the Wish Maker'. She must be a virgin and willing to do what he asks when he asks without question. When the Wish Maker sends Chrissy to fulfill Richard's request he is pleasantly surprised but the more time they spend together the deeper they both fall. It seems that the arrangement between the two is a match made in heaven or not.

Great characters and story line. My one critique is that they could have created more drama with Chrissy's mother and they never explained the total change in Richard's mother.

This was a story about the love for a man and the love for a child!
by sewsummore

Richard was a billionaire CEO of his family company but relationships were something he struggled with. He yearned for a companion, a woman who was a total submissive, prepared to accept and follow all his commands. He approached a wish maker on an effort to find a woman who would willingly submit to him and in return he was sent Chrissy. When her sister collapsed at school, Chrissy was beside herself with worry. She had cared for her from the day she was born and had been her guardian since she was seventeen years old. With hospital bills rising and more to come, it was easy to agree to be his companion, not knowing they would fall in love with each other. This was a story about love, the love for a man and the love for a child. Chrissy had dedicated her life to caring for her sister and would have agreed to anything that would make her sister well again not knowing she would also find love at the same time.

Absolutely loved reading this book.
Richard was a lonely thirty three and a billionaire.Chrissy was twenty had three jobs and was looking after her sister Bella.
Richard was introduced to a club named command which was very private and exclusive by travis his CFO and best friend where he was to meet the wish maker who would find young virgin submissive to follow/ do ask they are told.
Chrissy worked three jobs and also went to col state to study criminal law.then Bella falls ill and is rushed to hospital when she gets home later from the hospital there is someone waiting and it was the wish marker with a position offer to her which Chrissy knew that she could not turn down.
It’s a wonderful story you get to read both POVs about there life’s and family.there is chemistry between them and the sex scenes are mild. The characters are great in this book and you fall in love Chrissy’s and Richard characters though out the book.
I read this book in a day and really enjoyed it romantic ,moving and entertaining.

The story was well written. It’s really not dark at all. Not even a little. The idea that she would enter into this D/s type relationship with him to pay for her sister’s medical care has the potential to be dark but ultimately he paid for everything pretty much immediately, went above and beyond and told her he’d continue to do so even if she left. If are looking for a dark story with this theme try The Devil’s Kiss by Gemma James. The hero in that story is downright diabolical.

The steamy scenes were pretty vanilla and need some work. They read pretty technically rather than passionately.

I did really like Richard, he was very thoughtful and caring. It was clear that he was lonely and he truly wanted a companion and not just someone to dominate. Despite just finishing this I’ve forgotten the heroines name. I read too much lol. The heroine was sweet, definitely a Mary Sue, but I don’t mind that.

I read this in the boxset available on KU. It had potential but I’m looking for something a bit darker so I don’t think I’ll read any farther. I think these fellas have bully series that I may try.

a quick read

⭐️3/5⭐️
🌶️3/5🌶️
this book was very good, its a quick read for anyone who may be in a reading slump! it’s VERY fast paced, i enjoyed the storyline but the romance built at a super unrealistic pace which turned me off.

******************spoilers********************
what i did like:
• the storyline is great, i will always be a sucker for the rich dominant guy and the poor girl who is independent.
• the spice was pretty good, just a little confusing with the constant movement in the first scene
• her sacrifice for her sister was a huge tear jerker

what i didn’t like:
• her sister being healthy and suddenly needing a transplant asap was so unrealistic it hurt my brain. also there’s no shot she got a transplant within a week.
• the romance moves way too fast, she fell in love in 48 hours? what? girl how good can the dick really be?
• who in the fœk suggested travis, that storyline needed so much more elaboration

overall: this book can easily be a 5 star with another 150-200 pages of plot building and romance. it was a quick two hour read that i will absolutely still recommend!

This is the 3rd book I have read by these authors and I am starting to really enjoy the writing style. This book is an enjoyable at times sweet book with some light BDSM thrown into the mix. In short Richard goes to see the wish maker to find a woman for his particular needs, a virgin submissive in the bedroom.

What he gets is Chrissy a sweet, loving and caring young woman trying her best to save her little sister's life and create a better life for them. They reach an agreement in exchange for financial help, she will live with him and submit to his wishes. This is very light BDSM with Richard more wanting to control the relationship than Chrissy due to some childhood issues. They develop a mutual respect and liking for each other and I loved that Richard never forced himself or his demands on her while their love for each other develops naturally. A great light read with a modern, slightly dark twist on Cinderella.

I’m sorry but could not make it past the fifth chapter. Richard is so controlling and rude. She can’t go anywhere without his approval. He tells her she can continue school like it was an option for him to decide. She has to get her school schedule approved by him. She can only interact with women and he talks to Chrissy as if she isn’t a human with bodily autonomy. She can’t say she’s too tired or doesn’t want to do something for him!?!?! He’s preying on her! He knows she needs the money for her sister and still treats her like a pet.

Who the hell makes their partner being a virgin a nonnegotiable????? His reasonings are asinine and down right disgusting. I encourage all readers to know that this is not a correct depiction of BDSM and should not be taken seriously. Of anyone treats you like this, RUN FAST AND FAR. CHANGE YOUR NUMBER!

I don’t know where this author got her BDSM information, they need to do better. This is toxic and abusive.

Richard has certain traits he requires in a woman if he is to be with her.
Chrissy is doing it hard... working 3 jobs and trying to raise her sister alone. Relying on no one but herself.
Will these to unlikely people be able to make it work.
The last thing Richard thought he would be doing was going to a club to work with the matchmaker.
The last thing Chrissy thought she would have to do was give everything up to abide by a contract... but the things you do for the ones you love.
Love how this story unfolded. Chrissy became the submissive without totally giving up herself. Richard the dominant... finally letting someone in.
Loved the relationship between the two ma8n characters and enjoyed the evolution of their relationship.
This My was first read by these authors but won’t be my last.

This Story Blew Me Away!!

I’ve read “similar” stories. But none which have grabbed me, pulled me in and made me relate to each character in such a visceral manner.

Billionaire Richard with particular tastes – who keeps everyone at a distance. A young woman Chrissy forced at an early age to become responsible for her younger sister. She holds down three jobs while also taking college classes. She also has no experience with the male animal, except one amateur kiss.

When a life and death situation brings Chrissy into Richards sphere of influence an agreement is made which mutually benefits each party – but this is so much more.

Heartfelt, emotional, and entertaining. This sensual story is my first read for this author, but definitely not my last!!

Amazingly Heartfelt!

A awesome story of finding love in a unsuspected way! This was a pleasant surprise from the usual romantic billionaire romance, this book was described as being a dark billionaire romance but I found that this book was unbelievably sweet . The billionaire in the story was not the usual jerk that is found in most of these stories but someone who is not used to having a close relationship with a woman who can enjoy his company for who he really is. The young woman in this story is strong, hardworking and selfless in her love for her little sister. There are some steamy moments in this story definitely delivered by the author but all in all they are done tastefully and they don't distract you from the real story. I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book and I would highly recommend it for everyone who loves a real romance!

I read this is 6 hours so the parts are still fresh in my mind.

I did like Chrissy and Richard. I liked how sweet and innocent she was, how she stuck to her guns. I don't know if I'd call this a 'dark romance' but I do like the idea of Richard use of the club to find Chrissy.
Richard is typical billionaire CEO but he a certain softness that you often don't read about. I think he liked control more than being a Dom.
I liked Chrissy and how she wanted the best for her sister and would sacrifice herself to do that. Chrissy was almost too sweet for words.
I'm a sucker for happy endings. I liked how there were sex scenes but it didn't drown out the book. I adore her little sister Bella and how Richard would do anything to make Chrissy and Bella's life better.
I'm glad his mother got sober and was able to have a better relationship with Richard.

For 2 guys that wrote this...this was a great quarantine read. The writing was good and the story flowed wonderfully.

I'm excited to read Book 2 :)

Some wishes do come true.

Richard is a billionaire that has been wanting a certain type of woman, but can't seem to find what he's looking for on his own. Chrissy is a twenty year old college student working three jobs and raising her eight year old little sister, Bella. Richard goes to a secret club that has a person they refer to as the Wish Maker. He tells the Wish Maker exactly what he's looking for in a woman and the Wish Maker finds a match of him. Chrissy would have never even considered the offer of being a billionaire's companion, but she just found out Bella is in need of a life saving transplant and she has no way to pay for it. These two might not have met in a traditional manner, but may be it will become more than just a business transaction. This is a wonderful story and I highly recommend it!
