S.M. Donaldson is a born and raised Southern girl. She grew up in a small rural town on Florida’s Gulf Coast, the kind of place where everyone knows your business before you do, especially when your Daddy is a cop and your Mom works for the school system. She married one of her best friends at the age of 20 and has two sons. She is a proud military wife, has always had a soft spot for a good story, and is known to have a potty mouth. At the age of 31, she decided there was no time like the present to attempt her first book. Sam’s Choice was born and she hasn’t stopped since. If you are looking for a good, steamy, Southern set romance with true Southern dialect, she’s your girl.

I was pulled right into this story. The story has laughs, pain, anger, secrets, and heartbreak.

This is Elaine and Vance (Marco)’s story. They have known each other for years but it never seemed like the right time for them. They have both walked away from the other but seem to always come nack. Now its finally their time. But is it? Can the handle more? Or will this be the end of everything? All the boys have a stake in this will they support them or force them apart?

I loved these characters and the side characters. I felt I was able to connect with the characters and the story was a great read.

I highly recommend this book.

This book was wonderful! It made me laughing remembering times in the 80's, 90'a and early 2000's before text messaging, unlimited phone calls, and big hair was the go to style. I've been excited about Vance DeMarco, Marco, and Elaine's story. It made me smile, laugh, and want to cry. It's a great second chance romance and a forever type.

Making Marco was a fantastic second chance romance. That takes readers back to the 80s and 90s and the very beginning of Marco and Elaine's relationship, from their high school romance to the life they now share everything is covered and it was such a sweet, funny, and emotional story. That fans of the series will love.
